A Secret Revealed

Chapter 8

It was back to silent treatment again and this time it had been going on for three days straight. Every time Joey wanted to say something to Kaiba it would never come out. Joey had decided that he really needed to talk Kaiba and sort things out. He couldn’t take being ignored for one more whole week it was just plain irritating.

Joey really wished that it was Kaiba who would talk to him first, of course that wasn’t happening. It was Sunday the day before the second week of the holidays and Joey was going to talk to Kaiba. He had the day of which was good but he hadn’t seen Kaiba at all.

Kaiba was just finishing up on his work when he heard a knock on his office door. He walked over to it and opened to see Joey standing before him. “What is it” he asked Joey “we need to talk” Joey said. Kaiba walked back into the office leaving Joey at the door entrance “there is nothing to talk about” Kaiba told him.

“But there is” Joey walked in and shut the door behind him so no one else heard their conversation. “Then tell me what is their that we need to discuss” Kaiba then asked him. “It’s about us that’s what” Joey said. Kaiba turned around to face him he had a very stern look on his face. “There is no us you got that mutt” Kaiba told him not caring if he had hurt Joey’s emotions.

“That’s what you want to believe but then tell me why did you kiss me, I don’t believe what you told me the other day” Joey said to him. Kaiba looked at the blonde standing their in front of him, he didn’t get how Joey was being so straight forward. He didn’t understand why Joey was being like this. Did Joey want their to be something between the two of them he wasn’t sure what to think.

“I know that this must be hard for you to understand and to tell you the truth I don’t understand myself” Joey started saying. “When I first came here to work for you I completely hated it but after that night I cant seem to be the same around you anymore” Joey then said. “So you have fallen for me, well I’m flattered but I don’t feel anything for you, and why would I your just a dumb mutt” Kaiba told him.

Kaiba then felt a slap upon his face, Joey had just hit him on the cheek. Kaiba held the side of his face where he had just been hit. He looked at Joey and saw a really mad and upset look on Joey’s face. He knew that he had said some rather un kind words to Joey but he didn’t know what else to say.

“Liar” Joey said straight out, Kaiba looked at him, Joey’s fringe was covering his eyes. “And why would I lie” Kaiba asked. A smirk came upon his face but that was wiped of when he felt some lips on his. Joey had just grabbed Kaiba’s face and kissed him, he did it without thinking. Kaiba’s eyes where wide opened now he knew how it felt when he had kissed Joey.

‘Is this how the mutt felt when I kissed him so suddenly’ Kaiba thought to himself why Joey was still kissing him. Joey broke the kiss but still held onto Kaiba’s face, he looked up at him face to face. “Tell me why didn’t you pull away when I kissed you” he asked a surprised Kaiba. Then suddenly something came over Kaiba and he leaned down and kissed Joey.

His arms went around Joey’s waist why Joey’s arms went around Kaiba’s neck. Their where so many thoughts running through Kaiba’s head at that very moment. But he still continued to kiss Joey, he licked Joey’s lips with his tongue. Joey knew that Kaiba wanted him to open his mouth so he did just that.

Kaiba’s tongue went inside of Joey’s mouth and both their tongues played around with each other. They soon broke apart for air “now how are you feeling” Joey asked him with a smile on his face. “I don’t know my mind is telling me so many things I don’t know why I just did that” Kaiba replied.

“What now” Joey asked again “I don’t know and quite frankly I am not sure what to think anymore” Kaiba told him. After that one big passionate kiss that they just both shared they where more confused now than ever. Was this a beginning of a love relationship or was it just one of those moments people can't explain.

They let go of one another before they both heard a knock on the door. “Yes who is it” Kaiba yelled out “it is Sarah sir there is someone here to see you” she told Kaiba from outside the door. “Tell them I will be down in a minute” Kaiba told her “yes sir” she replied and walked of. “I have to go now” he said nothing more before he walked out of the office.

Joey stood their for a moment before walking out also, he headed to the stairs. When he got their he saw Kaiba speaking to someone. It was a young girl around his age ‘who is she I wonder’ Joey thought to himself. “Sofia what are you doing here I thought I told you never to come here again” Kaiba said to her.

“I know but I cant just give up on you Seto I love you to much” she told him. When Joey heard this he was shocked. Their was someone who actually loved him, he now felt rather jealous of this girl who he hadn’t even met yet. ‘Why do I feel jealous could Kaiba be right could I have actually fallen in love with him’ he thought to himself.

They might have kissed but Joey was still trying to figure out his feelings. He now knew what they where. He loved Kaiba and he really hated how their was someone else who loved him as well. Sofia looked up and saw Joey when Joey noticed she was looking at him he ran of. He didn’t want to face this girl who just walked in.

He was really worried now, that this girl might take Kaiba away from him before Kaiba could even tell him how he feels. Joey wasn't sure if Kaiba feels the same was as he does, it now seemed that their was going to be another problem.
