"It was a nice competition Yami, Kybimon won

'Best Beauty' and 'Agility', also took best beast

type in show." Yuugi said.

"That's nothing, she's not just a pretty face she's

the best fighter and I know it." Yami said.

"I know too, you trained her real well." Yuugi said.

"If only I trained Patamon better he wouldn't be dead."

Yuugi saddened.

"I know it hurts Yuugi but you need to keep looking forward,

not backward." Yami said as they arrived at the front door.

"What about stop looking, take in what you see now?" Yuugi

asked as Yami unlocked the door.

"What are you implying?" Yami asked.

"I'm not implying anything but you need to stop once in a while

and relax." Yuugi said as they entered the house.

"Kyubimon and I don't need to relax, we are warriors, right girl?" He

pet his beautiful fox monster. "Beautiful but deadly like a rose with

thorns." Yami admired her.

"You'd be sad if she got killed wouldn't you?" Yuugi asked.

"Yuugi stop thinking that way she'll be fine." Yami said.

That night it was time for round one. Yami was pitted against Mai in the eastern arean.

Ryazki and Kajiki where pited in the western areana. THe winner of the east must face the

winner of the west in round one wich was 'Street Battle'. The ref stood on a platform above

the grudge area and made anouncements and made sure no one was cheating.

"WELCOME TO THE EASTERN AREANA, GIVE IT UP FOR MAI KAJUKA!" He anounced. Mai got

responses from mostly women and men who liked her for her apearence. "IN THIS CORNER,

YAMI MUTOU!"

"Get ready to lose Yami, HARPYMON COME ON DOWN!" Mai's digimon Biyomon was now the

deadly winged woman digimon called Harpymon.

"YOUR LITTLE HEN DOESN'T FRIGHTEN ME, SIC EM' KYUBIMON!" He called for his fox to jump

out from behind him.

"ROUND ONE BEGIN!" The ref called. Kyubimon charged at Harpymon but she just flew out of

way.

"HA, YOU CAN'T REACH HER! TO BAD FOXES CAN'T FLY!" Mai teased.

"YEAH BUT THEY CAN JUMP!" Yami called back. Kyubimon ran at mach speed toward Harpymon

and jumped airborne and in biting distance. Harpymon evaded her fangs by climbing the air.

"WIND SEEKER!" Mai commaned her Harpy to throw a razer sharp air current at Kyubimon.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" Yami called to his fox. "LOOKS LIKE MY FOX IS FASTER THAN YOUR HARPY!

KYBIMON FOX TAIL INFERNO!" Yami commanded Kyubimon to shoot 9 fire balls from her nine burning

tipped tails. Harpymon evaded a couple but wasn't fast enough to evade the barage. Harpymon was down

but not out, she just couldn't fly anymore.

"SHE'S NOT BEATEN YET! HARPYMON TALON SWEEP!" She called out to the Harpy who started to run toward

Kyubimon. Yet like the Great Wall the fox stood her ground awaiting Yami's orders. She was very loyal and

willing to take a hit for him.

"BODY SLAM!" Yami commanded. His fox ran like one woman army, she knocked the Harpymon down on the

acount that she had more muscle mass than Mai's birdy.

"Get up Harpymon...Harpymon?" Mai noticed Harpymon was exausted. She overestemated her own monster and

underestemated her oponent's. "I won't make that mistake twice...It was a good match Yami but I got to take

her to the clinic."

"It was an honor to face you." Yami said as he and Kyubimon went to the locker room for a rest until round two.

Yuugi and Calumon met them down there.

"That was awsome Yami, Kyubimon was barely scratched." Yuugi said.

"There will be stronger opponents." Yami said.

"Seto." Yuugi said.

"I'll get satisfaction when I knock him out!"

"Yami, wizardmon was my digimon I'm the one who should want revenge."

"I cared a great deal about Patamon, he made you smile...You two were

happy together. Seto took that from you and now he's gonna pay."
