Ooo...now we're at Chapter 8. Yugi's about to tell Jounouchi something...but what? Hmm...you'd
just have to read on to find out!

Chapter 8: Confessions

"I'm listening Yugi. What could you have to tell me? Is it something about Anzu? Are you having
2nd thoughts about being with her?"

I haven't said anything and he's reading me already!

"Listen, Yugi. You've been madly in love with Anzu for over 6 years. You told me that you would
wait on her no matter what. And now that the wait's over...you're having a change of heart. Why
is that Yugi?"

What do I say to one who's saying all that I want to?

I could only look down and fidget with my fingers.

"Yugi!" He says lifting my chin. "Tell me what's going on. Tell me how you feel."

WOAH! His face just turned into Atemu's for a minute. I got it bad.

I become slack-jawed...not knowing how to start...

"Yugi. Start at the beginning. Start from wherever you want to. Then tell me about Atemu."

Atemu...that's enough right there. The man that has my emotions running in circles around my
heart. The man that I had my first yaoi encounter with. The man that I'm falling deeper in love with
each and every day. And it started with one kiss in Takahashi Gym.

I sigh...and look at Jounouchi who is becoming more and more impatient with me by the second.

"Yugi...just tell me something, please. This is affecting you more than you think. It's affecting me
too. Even though I don't know anything that's going on, I still feel the confusion in your heart."

Confused. That's what I am.

"I...am sorry Jounouchi." I finally say.

"What did you do?"

"I kissed someone else..."

"You've only been dating Anzu for 2 days and already you're cheating?!"

"Iya. This happened 2 weeks ago."

"Ok, so you wasn't dating Anzu then...but why is it affecting you now?!"

"Because, I'm still thinking about it. The way the kiss made me feel. It swept me off my feet...
literally."

"So, why don't you go to her and do your thing. Break it off with Anzu. Say that you only see this
relationship as a friendship. Or something like that. Make up something convincing."

If it was only that easy.

"That's the problem."

"Huh? You can't break it off with Anzu?"

"No... I mean the kiss."

"What about it."

"Jounouchi, promise me, you will never ever tell a soul and what I'm about to tell you will go with
you to your grave."

"Is it that bad?!"

I nod...then I shake my head.

"Just promise me Jou."

"Ok Yugi, I promise you. We're best friends. We have been since 1st grade. Believe me, out of all the
stuff you've told me...this can't possibly be any worse."

Ha...

"The kiss...wasn't with a female."

"NANI?!"

Jou's eyes are now as big as saucers...his mouth is literally on the floor... I think he's in shock that a
male kissed me...

"You're playing with me... aren't you Yugi?"

I could only look down at my feet at this time.

"You're not... Wait...did you kiss first or did he..."

"He did. We were in the gym...alone...talking... I looked up and the next thing I knew I felt his lips on
mine...taking me to a place of happiness."

"Wait, so you enjoyed it?"

"Unfortunately..."

"And that has you in question?! Yugi! You're a man! Men don't kiss other men! It's disgusting!"

The same thing I thought until that kiss.

"Do I know who it is?"

Yea, was standing next to you about 10 minutes ago and still is in this house.

I nod.

"Wait..what is a situation where you could possibly be alone in the gym... was it after school?"

"Iya."

"Did you sneak in there to skip class again?"

"Iya."

"So you was in class."

"Hai."

"Phys. Ed."

"Hai."

"Who do I know that takes Phys. Ed. with you...you have it at 1:30 don't you?"

"Hai."

"Let's see...is it Honda?"

"IYA!"

"Heh, just joking."

Nice joke...not.

"Hmm...now...could it be Takeshi? Ito? Shigon?"

I shake my head at the various names he keeps throwing out at me.

"There's only one person left, Atemu Ikhras."

I stiffen at that name...

"Guessed right didn't I. Now I understand the flushed looks you've been giving out lately. At the
tournament yesterday. Anzu wasn't making you flushed. It was you thinking about Atemu's kiss.
What still baffles me is that it had THAT much of an effect on you."

What baffles me is how he's become my stalker now...and I'm not complaining.

"Atemu Ikhras... he's part Egyptian isn't he?"

"Full-blooded Egyptian. Both of his parents are from Egypt."

"So, about earlier when I called you at home. Why was he there?"

"He stayed the night."

"Really? Why? Doesn't he stay in that 2-story house near Domino Pier?"

"I guess. I don't know. Last night, after my date with Anzu, he was at my house, talking to my
parents. I didn't get home until after midnight...it was snowing, freezing cold. He said that he had
came over to see me, but got into a lengthy conversation with my parents. He was going to go, but
my parents invited him to stay the night because of the weather. I would have preferred if he stayed
on the sofa, but dad insisted that he stay in my room with me since we were friends."

"Wait...the 1st time at your house and he gets to stay the night?!"

"Yea."

"Ashita and Masanori don't give in easily...what did he do to them!?"

"My thoughts exactly. My parents said that the house can be his 2nd home..."

"Speaking of Atemu, isn't that your shirt and pants he has on?"

"Yea, it is. For the longest after his shower, he sat on my bed, naked..."

"Wait, so he got naked around you?!"

"Yea, didn't bother putting a towel around his waist. It seems like he's become very comfortable
around me."

"A little too comfortable for my comfort."

I laughed at Jou's comment. I actually didn't mind looking at Atemu naked. He does have a nice
bronze body highlighted by those toned muscles... Wait a minute Yugi! What are you thinking?! Are
you fantasizing over his body now?!

"Yugi...are you ok? You look like you just seen a ghost..." Jou says to me.

"Iya. I'm fine. Just thinking about something he told me."

"And what was that? Did he confess his undying love for you?"

Damn Jou! You're good.

"Are you reading my mind?! Why am I telling you if you already know?!"

"Gomen ne, Yugi. Our friendship is so close. We're almost like brothers. It's like I can feel your pain,
your sorrows, your emotions sometimes."

You have to have a friend like him in your life. He's the brother I will never have. After mom had me,
she'd began to have complications...she developed cancer and had to have her ovaries removed. The
doctors told her she would never be able to have children again.

"Tell me Yugi, how do you truly feel about Atemu?"

I have never sat down and actually thought about my true feelings towards Atemu. I guess now would
be a better time than any. I have the person in the world I trust the most with me...he can help me
through this.

"Lost for words I see Yugi. Let me help you."

Arigatou.

"We can start at the kiss. How did it feel?"

"It was the best feeling in the world. I felt calm...warm...serene..."

"Conclusion: You're in love."

"Nani?! I didn't say anything!"

"You said more than enough Yugi. You didn't say it with your mouth. But your facial expressions
told me more than enough. You had a look on your face. It's like puppy-love, but much deeper. Much
more meaning."

Once again the book has been opened, and is being read...

"Am I in love with him? Does that make me...gay Jounouchi?"

"I don't know. Do you still have any feelings for Anzu?"

"Anzu and I kissed."

"When Yugi?!"

"At the tournament."

"When?! Why didn't I see?!"

"During the break. When you left saying that Shizuka wanted to see the Occult Deck tips and secrets."

"Ohh... What did that feel like?"

"It felt like a friendship kiss."

"How did it compare to the kiss with Atemu?"

"It was no compare. I felt his love, his compassion, his lust for me. With Anzu, it was more of a friendship
kiss. Nothing special about it."

"Ahh...so it is love."

I guess so...

"So tell me Yugi...how do you feel about women? If he has you feeling that way...do you still have any
desire for women?"

What the hell is going through your mind?!

"Hell yea I still love women and their beautiful soft breasts...those curves..."

"It seems like you're leaning more towards the bisexual road. Your love for women is still strong, but this
one man has you 2nd guessing yourself."

I thought so...

"Yugi, but do you feel that way just towards Atemu or does other guys have you thinking the same way?"

If I had a gun, you would be shot right now Jou.

"Ok ok I get it. It's just Atemu."

"What am I supposed to do Jounouchi? I don't want to hurt Anzu...I still want to be with her, but Atemu's
crossing my mind, my thoughts, my feelings so much...I'm just scared that one day it'll come out that I
have a stronger desire to be with him than her."

Jou sighs...not knowing what to tell me.

"I truly don't know what to say to you Yugi. Just let your heart guide you. If you don't want to hurt Anzu,
just break it off with her. Do it in a gentle way. Just tell her you're having 2nd thoughts."

"So Jounouchi, what am I?"

"A love for the opposite sex with a hint of love for the same sex, is bisexuality either way you look at it. But,
the way you've been acting, it's as if you've had a sexual enounter with him."

And the nail has been hit on the head.

"Yugi...you didn't...with him?!"

"It was so right Jounouchi!" I say as I feel tears swell in my eyes. "The kissing...the sucking...the fucking...
It felt so damn good! So right with him! It was like I was fucking an angel."

"Wait, so you did him?"

"He...he even gave me..."

"He didn't?!"

"He did."

"So, Yugi...if you had the opportunity to do it again...would you?"

"As much as I hate to say no... hell yes is the only valid answer."

Jou looked at me with widened eyes and his hand covering his mouth in awe that I would say something
like that. He knows me better than anyone else. Even my parents. He knows everything about me, my
deepest darkest secrets, the first time I ever had sex, even all of the times I... well, I care not to say. But in
return I know the same about him. I just hope that after all we've been through, he doesn't start looking
at me differently. I hope not.

"Yugi," he says leaning over and embracing me. "No matter what...we'll always be best friends ok. I
don't care if you're straight, bi, or just plain gay, you will always remain my best friend. I like you because
of who you are Yugi, the friend in return you are to me."

"Thanks, Jounouchi."

"We've had our fair share of arguments and disagreements, but we have always remained best friends. I
know you're kind of doubting whether or not I'll remain your friend, but don't worry. You have nothing
to worry about. Ok."

He pulls me back and holds my shoulders.

"Arigatou Jou. You know just what to say to me at the right time." I say smiling. "But, I still need to
think about what I'm going to do about Anzu."

"You'll make the right decision. Now come on, let's get out of here. As long as we've been in here, Kaiba
and Atemu are wandering some things."

I get out the tub and leave the bathroom feeling much better than before.
