Chapter 8: Surprising Encounter
"I love this! Now, when can we make the final blow, Akeifa?" asks the sandy haired male.
"I don't know. It's up to Atem." replies the silver haired male.
"Not just yet. We'll wait a while, Marik, Akeifa." says the tri-colored haired male.
"But that courtroom scene was absolutely priceless. To think that we caused everything."
says Marik.
"And add to the fact that no one knows of us, and our ultimate goal." adds Atem.
"Yes, people of this time are so damn stupid." comments Akeifa.
(Week or so Later, Kaiba Manor)
Mokuba left with his new family. Kaiba's fallen into a deep state of depression. He hasn't
been out of his house since Mokuba left.
*Flashback* (About 6 days ago...)
-Ding dong-
Izono opens the door.
"Hello, how may I help you?"
"We're the Crawfords." the man replies.
"Yes, come in."
They walk in and Izono guides them to the living room.
"Seto-sama will be down shortly. Would you like something to drink?"
"No thanks." the man replies.
"Please excuse me for a moment." Izono says as he goes upstairs.
He knocks on Kaiba's door.
"Seto-sama? Mokuba-sama? The Crawfords are here."
"Thank you Izono." replies Kaiba.
Mokuba holds onto his brother as tightly as possible.
"I don't want to leave. Make them leave nii-sama!" yells Mokuba as he cries into his
brother's arms.
"I can't do anything about it. I still have to abide by the law, and the agreement that
was clearly broken." replies Kaiba as he holds on to Mokuba just as tightly.
They stand there just a little while longer, before exiting the room and walking very
slowly downstairs.
The Crawfords stand and shake hands with Kaiba.
"Seto-sama. I'm Pegasus Crawford. Pleased to finally meet you in person." the male
says to him. "This is my wife Cecilia."
"Nice to meet the two of you." replies Kaiba very coldly.
"Your brother will be in great hands. Cecilia and I have a 14 year old boy ourselves. He
couldn't come today because of school. But he's also looking forward to having him in our
home."
Kaiba nods.
"We have a vacation home in Tokyo. On weekends we can come to Tokyo and you can be
with him." continues Pegasus.
"That's fine."
"If you ever come to San Francisco, then our home is open to you."
"Thank you."
They talk for a while longer.
"We have to leave now. Our flight leaves in 30 minutes." says Pegasus.
Him and his wife get up and Kaiba's staff take Mokuba's things to their car. They leave
out the house, and wait for the two to say their goodbyes.
"Well...I have...to...leave...now." Mokuba says between sniffles.
Kaiba reluctantly nods then grabs his brother and holds him very tightly.
"I'm going to miss you Mokie. I'll call you everyday, ande vie visit as much as possible."
says Kaiba as tears begin to flow from his eyes.
"Nii-sama...I'm going to miss you too! I don't want to go!" cries Mokuba.
"You...have to..." replies Kaiba as his hands begin to shake. "I can't go against the law...you
know that..."
"But nii-sama..."
"Iya! If you don't leave now then I'll be forced to keep you here!"
"I won't leave then!"
"You know that can't happen...I'll end up in jail...or something like that. Look. It's getting
late now...please...leave..." Kaiba says reluctantly pushing Mokuba away from him and
turning his back.
"Nii-sama..."
"Leave! Now!" yells Kaiba.
"I love you nii-sama." Mokuba says running out the door and slamming it behind him.
Kaiba drops to his knees. "I love you too, Mokuba."
*END*
Since that day, Kaiba has been parked in his room. Not leaving for any reason. Jou has
come up to see him everyday.
Kaiba looks at the clock.
"It's 4. Jou should be coming by soon."
(Kame Game Shop)
Yugi and Jou are talking when Jou notices the clock.
"I'm late!" yells Jou.
"For what?!" asks Yugi.
"My visit with Kaiba."
"How is he?"
"Still no progress. He's literally living from his bedroom. His butlers and maids bring
him food, but other than that, he's in his room." replies Jou.
"Well. I'll let you be going now."
"Come on and go with me."
"I can't. This is my night to close. Come back by here when you leave Kaiba's."
"I will. See you later." Jou says opening the door.
"Sayonara."
Jou runs towards Kaiba Manor. When he turns the corner to get on Kaiba's street, he
runs into someone. They both fall to the pavement.
"Itai...itai..." the other person says.
"Oh, I'm so sorry sir." Jou says looking up at the man.
He gasps when he sees who it is.
"It...it's you!" yells Jou.
The man looks at Jou.
"And you're the guy in Seto Kaiba's porn!" relpies the man.
Jou grabs the clothes of the other man. "Who the hell are you?"
"Let's just say I'm your worst nightmare."
"What's your name?" asks Jou.
"My name? Why should that be so important to you?"
"You're ruining our lives you bastard!" screams Jou as he punches the man.
"Didn't mean to ruin your life. Just Seto's."
"Who the fuck are you?! Answer me!" yells Jou. "Why do you look so much like my friend,
Yugi?!"
"Fine. I'll tell you my name. It's Atem. Atem Mutou." he replies.
Jou just ignores him and proceeds to beat the hell out of him and drag to Kto Kaiba
Manor.
Jou uses his key and opens the door. He throws the unconscious man on the sofa. Izono
comes in and sees the badly beaten man lying helplessly on the sofa.
"Katsuya-sama?! I'll get the medics."
"Don't bother." replies Jou coldly. "Watch him die until I come back."
Jou runs up the stairs and to Kaiba's bedroom. He bams on the door. Kaiba opens it.
"Oh...hello Jou." says Kaiba as he turns around to get back in bed.
Jou grabs him by his shoulder.
"Let me go Katsuya."
"I got one."
"Who?"
"The one that Otogi saw at school that day. The one who looks like Yugi."
"Really? That's nice. We have no proof that he did it."
"Look!" Jou says spig Kag Kaiba around. "We got one of those bastards downstairs,
unconscious. We can get him to talk, or beat the truth out of him."
"Hell Jou if he's already knocked out, then he's not going to do us any good now is
it?!"
"We'll get him when he wakes up." replies Jou. "Now come on."
Jou literally drags Kaiba out his room and to the stairs. As they started descending,
Izono meets them.
"Katsuya-sama, Seto-sama...the man's gone!"
