Me:Hey, here chapter 8 to Yami saves a life again sorry about the late updates but I've been kinda busy so I'm currently typing this chapter up in schoolso hikari and Arainaina aren't here anyway this story is rated R for Yaoi between YxY,SxJ,RxB,MxM, and LxN ( Linda x Noa ) but there's not a whole lot of those too and sorry no Mai and Ishizu we sorta changed our minds on that

Ch.8 Bad news
It was a brand new day and Mai and Ishizu were up and talking in the living room."So,do you think it'll work?"asks Ishizu."It better, after all we done last night"exclaims Mai,to her.
Just then they hear foot steps and become quite only to notice it was Yami."Morning Yami"greet the two."Morning"greets Yami."So, working today are you?"asks Mai,to Yami.
"Actually, today I'm off, but I'm still gonna go vist my little patient at the hospital"replies Yami."Oh..."answers Mai,causing Yami to blush slightly.
But just then I walk into the room rubbing my forehead which has Yami notice and has him worry."Linda,are you ok?"asks a concern Yami."Yeah,just a mild headache is all"I asure him."Hey,Linda do you wanna come mall shopping with us"asks Mai.
"Um,I guess"I reply, while looking over to Yami with a slient plea to not mention to them about or childhood secret,and so he nods his head promising me that he would not tell them.
"So Yami,what are your plans for today?"I question him."I'm gonna go vist Yugi"answers Yami."Cool, could you tell him hi for me"I ask him."Sure"and with that he left to head for the hospital.
"Alright if everyone is ready let's head for the mall"exclaims Ishizu,as she and Mai grab me by the hand and pull me out the door and towards my car.
"Oh,by the way Linda,Mai's driving for you toda alright"replies Ishizu,as I nod my head and hand Mai the keys to my car while I get into the back seat, while Ishizu got into the passanger side of the car.
After a few hours we make it to the mall and this time I'm dragged off by Mai as she pulls me to the first store we see.Once in Mai spots the cutest pair of high heel boats which werer similar to hers but I didn't find them so appearing.
After hours of shopping we decide to call it quites since every outfit they had picked out for me I didn't feel comfortable in, so we decided to head for the food court,which to my surprise found everyone else there also.
In the mean time Yugi and Yami were having a blast at the hospital, for once Yami had arrived him and Yugi got themselves into a game of duel monsters and ended in a draw.
"Wow, your good Yugi,it's a first time I ever ended in a draw with someone cause normally I'm either defeated or I win against my cousin depending how focused we are when we play against each other"explains Yami.
"Really,you mean she duel's also?"asks Yugi."Yep"replies Yami."Cool"and with that Yugi's yawns."Well,I'll get going so you can sleep,but I'll be back tomorrow to discharge you and let Linda take you home alright"asks Yami,as Yugi nods his head before falling asleep.
Once Yugi feel asleep,Yami let's himself out before heading home.Mean while me,Mai,and that were walking around the mall when I suddenly stop."Hun?Linda"asks Joey,as he notice me stop to look at a beautiful dress that hung in a stores window."I see you like the dress" replies Mai."Well,it is nice and it would make a nice graduation outfit"I reply, to them.
"Go try it on"replies Ishizu."I don't know"I reply timmitly. "Go"and with that Mai drags me into the store while everyone else follows."Good evening may I help you"asks the sales lady."Yeah,my friend here would like to try on the dress that's hanging in the window"replies Mai.
"Sure"and with that the lady removes the dress from the window and returns shortly while handing me the outfit before directing me to a fitting room.Once I'm in the dressing room I begin to change into the dress. Once the dress was on I look into the mirror to see that it had spagitti straps,it also had a white silk texture to it with a flower of a rose on the bottom.
I also noticed that the dress reasched the floor.As I continue to look at myself in the mirror I hear Mai's voice on the other side of the door."Linda let us see it"replies Mai."No"I reply."Come on we won't laugh we promise"replies Ishizu."Oh,alright but not one sound from any of you for if you do your in it for sure"I reply,as I open the door and walk out of the room.
As soon as I'm out everyone becomes silent and I continue to stare at the floor,for I was abit shy to see or even look at them."Linda...your beautiful"replies Noa,as he see's me in the dress."Thankyou"I whisper."So,Linda are you gonna buy the dress"asks Ryou.
"I don't know"is all I say before going back to change.Seconds later I return and decide not to get it for even though I really did want to get it,I just couldn't aford it right now,so I decide to hold off and wait and so I just put it back before leaving the store.
"It's a shame she didn't get"replies Malik."Maybe she has her reasons"answers Bakura."Hey,Noa why don't you surprise her and buy her the dress"replies Seto."Sure"and with that Noa bought me the dress I had tired on earlier.Once bought and payed for everyone leaves the store before running to catch up to me.
"Hey wait up"exclaims Marik,once they manage to catch up."Sorry"I reply,before hearing my phone go off,so I stop and answer it."Hello"I ask."Yes,this is the hospital calling,I'm calling on behalf of your aunt"replies the lady,which caused me to hault in my tracks.
"Well she be ok"I ask worryly."We don't know she's stable for now but we can't tell you nothing more till we find out more information,so well call back when we know more"and with that we hung up.
"Linda"asks everyone.But I don't reply as I try not to cry."Linda"calls Mokuba.But this time in stead of replying back I run out of the mall instead."LINDA"shouts Mai,but I don't stop."What happened Joey"asks Serentiy."Don't know but let's find out"exclaims Joey,as they chase after me.
But once they were outside the mall I was no were to been seen."Were coshe she have gone to,I know she ran this way so where is she"replies Marik,as they look threw the crowd of people.But just then they hear a cell phone go off and everyone tries to find out where it's coming from only to look down and notice that it was mine which was lieing on the ground,so Seto bends down and picks it up before answering it.
"Hello"asks Seto."Seto?where's Linda,I need to talk to her"replies a voice."Yami?sorry but she's not here she ran off a few minutes ago"explains Seto."Damn it,I need to find her she's not herself,Seto look everywhere the park anywhere I'll look at the pond"and with that Yami hung up.
"What was that all about"asks Noa."Don't know but Yami says to look for her"and with that they searched everywhere for me.'Come one Linda tell me where you are'wonders Yami,as he runs to the spot he thinks I may be at,for ever since we were little me and him had shared a special bond which could never be broken.
**My P.O.V**
'Why do people get hurt,first there was Yugi and now my aunt.Once I tell Yami he'll be divastated...but I can't hurt him again once he lost his parents and moved in with us we were always close we were a team but now...If I tell him about our aunt he'll be crushed just like I was when I learned about my parents death'I wonder.
Just then I feel somone behind me,so I look only to find that it's Yami and them which causes me to tunr away from them,for I knew very well Yami would find me."Linda,please tell me what's wrong I can't stand seeing you sad,so please tell me"asks Yami,as he motions everyone to stay where they were.
"I can't...I don't want to hurt you anymore"I reply loud enough for them to hear."Hurt me??you won't hurt me,besides where a team,now please tell me"replies Yami,once he's by me."I-I gotta a call not long ago from thw hospital...they told me our aunt is there"I cry out."And?" asks Yami."They say they don't know anything else and will call me once they know more on her condition"I reply,unable to stop crying.
