The Nightmare!

Konichiwa! Minna-san! (Hello Everyone) Welcome to another chapter! So many
events...so little time to figure them all out. Before we move on to Yugi and Yami,
we're going to rewind a bit back to Otogi and Honda. Who was the guy that
Otogi's riding with? What's happening to Honda? Well, stay tuned, Chapter 8
features the POV of Honda.

Chapter 8: A Lost Love...

*Reader's POV*
Anzu is laughing at the events as they have unfolded with the couples.

"I'm so glad to see them suffering. I can help them get better, but the more they
want each other, the more it's going to hurt! I will return to the living world."
Anzu says, laughing.

'You stupid girl, let me out this ring!' Bakura shouts at Anzu.

"Now, if I let you go, then I can't complete my plan. Then that won't bode well
at all, now will it?! Without a body to take over, you're as helpless as a newborn
baby. How about I bring your partner along for the ride."

'My partner...? Ryou?'

"You dumb ass spirit. Marik. He's next on my list. And finally, Yami. Your three
items will help me to grant my greatest desire."

'Over my dead body.'

"Technically speaking, you're dead, so that means I will succeed without you stopping
me! Now that you're trapped in the Ring, your powers are suppressed. You're helpless
to do anything to stop me."

'Grrrr.'

"Dream Clown?"

"Yes, Anzu. The time to strike is NOW!"

Anzu chants a sacred spell that allows her to integrate with Malik. She erases his
memories of the Sen'nin Rod and Marik. Then, she hypnotizes Marik. He sits
straight up in bed in a zombie-like gaze, then disappears. He reappears in the
Shadow Realm, trapped inside of the Rod.

*Honda's POV*
It's been almost 4 hours since I last saw Otogi. What could have happened to him?
It's 8am. I need to call someone!

"Hello, Jounouchi residence, Shizuka speaking."

"Hi, Shizuka? Where's your brother?"

"He stayed the night at Kaiba's. Try over there."

"Ok ty."

"Wait, Honda. Is there something wrong?"

"No, I was just looking for Katsuya. But I'll try over there ok."

"Ok. You know if you ever need something, just talk to me."

"I know Shizuka. Take care ok. Bye."

"Bye."

Damn, there was nothing I dreaded more than to have to call Kaiba's. But, I
must call Kaiba's if I wanted to talk to Jou.

"One ring...two rings...three rings...Hmm, where is Kaiba?"

"Hello...Kaiba residence." A cold voice said.

"Hi...umm..Kaiba? Is Jou there?" I asked hesitantly, knowing how much Kaiba
hated it when I'm interrupting something between him and Jou.

"No. He isn't." Kaiba replied hesitantly.

Woah...he said something without his usual cockiness, I wonder if something is
wrong?

"Are you ok Kaiba?" I ask hoping to get something out of him.

"Is it you damn business Honda? Jou's not here! Bye!" He said, then I head the
dial tone.

"Hmm...I'll go to Shizuka's house to see if she can help me." I say as I pick up
my keys and walking to my car.

*Otogi's POV*

This man has a wonderful home! It can be categorized with Kaiba Manor. And there
are VERY few houses that fit into that category. I wonder what Honda's doing...no,
I don't care what he's doing. I've decided to move on, just as he has done.

"Come on sir, my servants can help you get dressed. You should not be out in
your pj's."

I get out the car and walk behind him to the back door.

"By the way, what's your name?" I ask the man.

"Well, I'll tell you my name, as soon as you tell me yours."

"Ok. I will tell you."

"In that case, my name is Tomino, Shigetoshi Tomino."

"My name, Ryuji Otogi."

"Are you the same Otogi from the game shop?"

"Yea...I am."

"So, why didn't you go home? Did you and your mate have a dispute?"

"It's not like that, it's just he's been keeping secret lately about some things
and when I ask him about it he's like no, nothing's happening. But you know
how most times dreams are warnings, well I've been having this same dream
each time I close my eyes. I decided it was time for me to listen to it and come
to my senses about our relationship." I finally admit to the man.

"So, you're listening to your dreams, instead of your heart?" He advises me.

I think about what he says, and yes, it's true. I have been listening to that dream.
But...each time I'm around Honda, it's the same thing. I feel the same way.
Hurt, heartbroken...alone. He had taken those things away from me and replaced
them with Happiness, love, a lover, and most of all a friend. But...I can't be
around Honda right now. I just miss him calling me Dicey...

"What's wrong there Otogi? Thinking about your lover? Who is he anyways?"
He asks me.

"Oh, he's not popular or anything. He's a close friend of Yugi Motou."

"The Duelist Kingdom and Battle City winner, Yugi Motou?!" He says in awe
that I actually know someone that close to him.

"You know what Otogi, I remember you know. You were on TV challenging
Yugi to a game of Dungeon Dice Monsters. It was a very good battle. I hate
that you lost." He says getting lower towards the end.

"That's ok. Yugi and I are good friends now."

"I'm glad to hear that you two get along. Now, would you like some breakfast?
You look dehydrated and starved." He says looking at how small I am.

"I'm not starved. But I am hungry and thirsty."

"Ok, I'll have the cooks fix us something. What would you like? Scrambled eggs?
Hash browns? Omlet? Toast?"

"I'm not a big breakfaaterater." I say interrupting his menu recital. "Just some
cereal and milk please."

He gets up and leaves into another room and comes back with a gallon of milk, a
bowl, a spoon, and about 5 boxes of cereal. I pick the Froot Loops and settle
down to eat.

*Honda's POV*

I hope she's home.

-knock-knock-knock-

"Who is it?" I hear a voice shout from inside.

"It's me, Honda." I reply.

"Ok, one moment." She answers back.

I stand on the porch rocking back and forth, waiting on Shizuka to open the door.
I hope she can help me find her brother.

"Honda, Ohayo! Come in." She says, opening the door.

I walk into her living room, where she points to a chair for me to sit in.

"So, what brings you over this early in the morning?"

"It's Otogi. I can't find him anywhere. He left the house very late last night and
I haven't had any contact with him since. I was hoping to find Jou so he could help
me look for him."

Shizuka looks at me with concern.

"What happened?"

"I don't know. I was in the bathroom when it he left. I tried calling his cell
phone and the game shop, but no luck. I don't want to get too many people
involved in this, so that's why I haven't called Yugi or the others."

"I understand. So, did you call Kaiba's?"

"Yea, he was acting all funny and said that Jou wasn't there. wherwhere could
HE be?"

"If I know my brother and when he gets mad, he goes to the b and and sit on the
pier. He says it helps to clear his mind."

"Why don't you come with me Shizuka. If his mind isn't clearned, you can help
him to clear it."

"Yea, I think that's a great idea. Now, let me get some clothes on." She says
as she stands up and walk towards the stairs.

I wonder where Otogi and Jou are. They are the most improtant people in
my life and now they're both missing. Where could they be?

"Ok, I'm ready. The beach is just a short walk from here, so we don't need to
waste any gas and drive. Plus it'll give my brother some extra time to cool off."

"Sound like a good idea to me Shizuka, let's go."

We walk out the front door and head in the direction of Domino Bay.

*Otogi's POV*
(Otogi's looking out a window)
I wonder what Honda's doing now. I know he's worried. But I'm just so
confused right now. I just wanted to get away for a while to clear my head. This
man, Shigetoshi, has been so nice to me. Maybe he wants me. Well, he'll get no
such luck! My body is for Honda and Honda only.

Just look at all the people walking by. Some walking, some jogging, and some
just all lovy-dovy. Honda and I used to be like that. Wait a minute...who's
that? It looks like Honda?! Wait that is Honda!

*Honda's POV*
"Come on Shizuka, we can't wait for that dead-beat brained brother of yours
to clear his mind. It'll take him forever!" I say laughing.

Shizuka has a laugh also.

*Otogi's POV*
That IS Honda! Who is he walking with?! And laughing with?! Shi..zuka...no,
there's no way that...my dream...was right! Honda!

"Hondaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" I yell before I knew it.

*Honda's POV*
Wait? Did I just hear someone call my name?

"Honda, what's wrong? Is everything ok?" Shizuka asks me.

"I thought I heard someone call my name. It sounded like Otogi."

"We're close to the beach now. Otogi may be there, taking out his fustration!
Come on!" Shizuka says grabbing my arm and taking off running, dragging me
along for the ride.

*Otogi's POV*
"Wait..." I say looking at him and Shizuka hand-in-hand running.

I think he heard me...and just wanted to get away. Yea, that's it. He's with the
one he loves now.
