{Seto’s Pov}
I see the desert blonde puppy and my eyes open wide. I sit up right and the puppy bounces onto my lap.
"Joey?" I ask. The puppy starts to bark like crazy. I think he 's trying to speak or at least tell me something.
"Joey...what happened to you?" I ask feeling small tears form in my eyes seeing Joey run around as a puppy.
"You wished for a puppy." I hear someone say to me. I look and see him. The Dark Magician again. One tear goes down my cheek without me noticing.
"What?! Why the hell would I wish for a puppy when my puppy was perfect the way he was! I was going to ask him to marry me! Why would I wish for him as a puppy if I wanted to marry him?!" I exclaim letting my tearsl onl on their own.
"I thought it was weird too but that was the wish." He says looking guilty. He should be guilty! How could he do this to my puppy.
"What? But what about....Serenity!" I run out of my room and go as quick as I can to Serenity's room. When I open the door a small, dark brown puppy runs out barking like crazy.
"You too?" I say in shock falling to my knees in complete horror. Why did this happen. I never wished this. I'd wish for me and Joey to be together forever or along the lines of something good but...never this.
"The wish was for more than one." I hear the Dark Magician say. I want to be alone. I don't want to hear anything about this. I want my Joey back. I want Serenity back too.
My tears run down my face as I sob. Joey runs up to me and starts rubbing his little form on my legs to try and calm me. I look down at him and more tears come. This isn't my Joey. This is a puppy. Am I never going to get to see my Joey again or is he stuck as a puppy?
"Can't you change him back?" I ask him looking straight into his purple eyes. He suddenly becomes cold and serious.
"No. You asked for 3 wishes not 4. I need limits, Seto. I can't just give an extra wish for whoever asks." He says to me then his face turning morft. ft. My sobs became more severe.
"There is a loophole." I hear the Dark Magician say. I look up stopping my sobbing and looking desperate to him.
"Please tell me I'll do anything." I say to him telling the truth. I will do anything to have my Joey back.
"Love is what you feel
Not by form not by shape
By the Heart and Soul
To right the wrongs that he has made." He says this weird riddle. I don't understand. Not by form? Not by shape? By the heart and soul?
"What does that mean?" I ask him confused.
"I'm sorry but that is all I can say. You must solve it yourself." He says to me. I don't understand it. If I don't understand. I can't solve it and that means Joey 's stuck. I start sobbing again not able to control myself.
"I told you no good would come from these wishes...only pain."
"Just go," I barely whisper sobbing into my hands. The Dark Magician leaves me be and I stand up walking to my room not wanting Mokuba to see me crying so much.
Joey runs after me in his small petit form. I lay on my bed face on the pi cry crying my heart out. I feel Joey licking my face trying to make me feel better but until I feel his lips on mine I’ll never feel better.

It’s been 2 weeks since Joey was turned into a puppy. I still haven’t found a way to solve the riddle the Dark Magician gave me and his visits have lessen. Mokuba and Tristan have asked me so many times where Joey and Serenity are that I had to excuse myself to sob in my room.
I'm right now sobbing in my room because Mokuba just asked me why he hasn't seen Joey in a long time. Joey was actually there with me. He keeps following me like a...a puppy. I hear I knock on my door.
"I want to be left alone." I say to whoever is at the door. I then see the door knob turn to open the door for the visitor. The door only opens slightly so I can't see the visitor.
"Kaiba, everybody 's worrying about you. We haven't seen you since like 2 weeks ago." I hear familiar voice says to me. Then the door opens fully to show Yami at the door.
"I've just been wanting to be left alone, Yami." I say to my friend but he just shakes his head.
"Everyone's been worried though. We haven't seen hair or toe of you, Joey, or Serenity. Tristan has been heart broken over Serenity. And Yugi, Ryou, and Malik are really getting worried. And to my surprise even Bakura and Marik are a little concerned," Yami sighs.
I then see my puppy, Joey, walk inside and bark a little. Yami looks down at him and smiles. Yami then picks my puppy up in his arms.
"Hello there, Precious." He says to Joey. Precious? Why'd he call Joey, Precious?
"Um, Precious?" I question. Yami looks at me and smiles. It almost looks like a smirk though.
"Yeah. This little guy has come to the kitchen so much that Yugi, R and and Malik have named him." Yami stats at me. Precious huh? I guess he is precious.
"I guess that's a nice name for him." I say to Yami. Yami nods while he puts Joey down. Joey runs to my bed and tries to jump up on it but he 's just to small. I go to the corner of my bed and pick him up. I gently lay him on my bed and look back up to Yami.
"Kaiba, why haven't you or Joey visit us?" Yami asks me. Joey has seemed to be visiting you a lot but you guys just probably didn't know. As for me. I just want to be alone.
"I've been busy." I lie. Yami nods and says that he better go and leaves my room closing the door behind him.
I look down at Joey with teary eyes. Letting my tears fall down my cheeks, Joey comes up to me and licks my hand.
“Have you solved the riddle yet?” I hear someone say. I look up to see the Dark Magician.
“No,” I simply say between tears. Joey suddenly starts barking at the Dark Magician.
“I hate to see you like this, friend.” He says to me. I bet. I hate seeing myself like this too but I can’t help it. I’m never going to have my Joey again.
“Then turn Joey back.” I say to him. I hear the Dark Magician heave a heavy sigh but I don’t care.
“I can’t do that but I will help you stop the pain...” He says. I look up to see that his staff is right in front of my face. The staff suddenly glows a great deal of purple and engulfs me.
“This will help, friend.” Then the purple stuff left and I’m left alone with a smile on my face.
I walk out of my room with a smile on my face. I pass Mokuba but pause to rub my little brother’s hair.
“Hello, Mokuba.” I say. Mokuba looks up into my eyes and suddenly has a big smile.
“Hello, Onii-chan! I’m so happy that your looking happier.” He hugs me tightly around my waist. Why wouldn’t I be happy? Oh well.
“I’m going to the kitchen to talk to my friends.” I say to Mokuba. He nods and runs off to ‘who-knows-where’.
I walk down to the kitchen. Once at the kitchen everyone pauses and looks at me. I just smile at everyone. They all put the things they have down and run to me.
“Long time no see man!” I hear Tristan say as he lightly slaps my shoulder.
“Man, Kaiba, I almost thought you were dead!” Bakura says in front of me with a smirk. He wishes.
“Kaiba, you have a lot of explaining to do. We wereriedried sick.” I hear Mai say as she puts her index finger in front of my face.
“Kaiba, where’s Joey?” I hear my friend Yugi ask. I look down at him confused. And then suddenly I answer...
“Who’s Joey?”
