The wieght on his shoulders
During lunch time Yami waited for Marik and Bakura to return with those
who look up to him. He was hoping they were tough kids but boy was
he disapointed when they came back with a group of kids from the AV
room. They had every right to look up to him, he never really bothered
them. Yami pittied them, so he over looked them and picked on other
bullies and athaurity figures.
"Marik tell me your kidding." Yami wispered to him as the short little
nerds sat by him.
"They say they rather have you in charge instead of Seto." Marik said.
"So guys, what brings you to my corner?" Yami asked the nerds who
barely stuttered in his presence. "I see, that's interesting."
"Excuse me." A blond with thick glasses adressed Yami after building a
bit of courage.
"Yes..." Yami coaxed him to speak.
"None of us wish to join your gang but we would rather have the Dark Angels
in charge instead of the Blue Eyes." He said.
"Just as long as Rayou and Malik stay away, right Hanasaki." Ryazaki asked.
"Hell even I'm on your side and I don't even like you as a friend." Said Haga.
"Don't disrespect him, he can save us from those tyranical 'Blue Eyes'." Ryazaki
interupted. "I don't want my ass getting kicked again, that blond kid could of
killed me." Said Ryazaki. "I thought he was a 'Dark Angel' Yami what happened?"
"That's my concern not yours, do any of you have any idea's for me, It'll be worth
your while, none of those 'Blue Eyes' will bother anyone ever again?"
"Your gang is shrinking, why don't you ally yourselves with that girly gang, they're
pretty tough." Hanasaki suggested.
"That's an interesting option, I'll keep it in mind if I can't think of anything else,
thanks guys." Yami said before dismissing the 'nerd herd'.
"You got any other idea's, I'm not sure about how Mai feels about us." Marik said.
"It'll be a good Idea." Yami smirked.
"What are you scheming?" Marik asked.
"Scheming? Me?" Yami's smirk grew.
"I know that look, your plotting something." Marik said.
"You'll see." Yami walked away with Marik and Bakura walking with him down the hallway to
detention.
Meanwhile back at Yuugi's house, Jichan was worried about Yuugi being missing. He knew he
ran away to Yami's and nothing he says to him will make him come back. He called Yami's house
to talk to Aki about the boys, but Yuugi picked up the parlor phone. He was limping around the house looking
for stuff to do while waiting for school to be out.
"Hello?" Yuugi answered.
"Hey Yuugi what are you doing home from school?" Jichan asked.
"I'm sick so I stayed home."
"That's not your home Yuugi you live with me and your mother." Jichan said.
"No I want to live with Yami."
"I want you home now!" Jichan said.
"I'm sick I don't want to leave home." Yuugi argued.
"You aren't home, I'm coming to get you." Jichan said.
"No, Yami cares about me more than you do." Yuugi said.
"He does not, he's only dating you for sex!"
"That's not true!" Yuugi said.
"He's using you!"
"NO!"
"How much more trouble do you want to be in, I care about you and so does your mother,
now let me take you home, with us."
"Jichan if you do love me like you say, than you'll let me stay with him, I'm happy here."
"That's not what you told me before, starving, drinking, smoking, and then you told me
he raped you, how does that qualify as love, he's just using you as his toy!"
"Good by Jichan." Yuugi hung up and went back to bed.
Back at school Seto and his gang with new recruit Jou was leaving detetion. Seto was eye balling
Yami as if saying 'Ha Ha, Jou's one of us now'. Jou couldn't look at Yami, but even with his head
down, Yami could see the bruises on his face and his black eyes. Yami wrote a note to Jou and
handed it to him before he left when Seto wasn't looking. Jou read the note and it read 'Meet
me at my house and come alone, my friend'. Jou looked at Yami and knodded when they were
the only ones left in the detention hall.
