Chapter Seven:New Days and New Mates???
‘Why am I in Yami’s bed? How did I get over here in the first place? Well, no time for that I have to get out before I wake Yami up and he sees me in his bed.’ Yuugi went to move but found that he couldn’t for Yami’s arm was holding him in places. ‘Great now what do I do? This couldn’t get any worst if it tried to.’ With that Yuugi careful as he could removed Yami’s arm and got out of the bed. Then he walked over to his bed and went back to sleep for the rest of the night.
If Yuugi had looked at Yami’s faces he would have seen the small smile that was now there. And if Yuugi had been up a little longer he would have hard Yami say his name in his sleep.

Well at that same time in another room of the dorm a person with a hood over their face looked on in a glass ball, witching all of this happen. ‘Soon, my dear little light, you will be getting into my bed at night while still in sleep. The thing is even when you wake up in the middle of the night you will not get out.’ then the dark feigner walked away from the glass ball.

The next day found Yami trying to wake Yuugi up, but as always (his friends have tired it before) Yuugi wound only mumble something then turn over and go back to sleep. Finally Yami gave up trying to be nice about how he got Yuugi up. He picked Yuugi up and then told him “Little one, if you do not wake up I will take you into the bathroom, and unclothe you in front of everyone in there, my self”
At that last statement Yuugi woke up and started pleading to Yami. “No please don’t do that. I’m up, I’m up and I will stay up. Just don’t do that, anything, anything other then that.” Yuugi was almost crying and showing puppy dog eyes as he said this too.
As cute as this looked to was, Yami know it was not the time nor places to say such things (ya right). “I wasn’t really going to do it. I was just saying it to get you to wake up; little light Calm down. I won’t do it… for today anyway. Get ready we have a big day ahead of us and we don’t want to be late for it.”
With that the day had started for the both of them. Nothing really happen till lunch. They had a test first period in which they both easily passed it. Then second thought forth was reading out of the textbooks for the classes. Period five had them starting a group project on the History of Spells. The only thing that was out of places that day was the fact that Yuugi didn’t have to run all the way to school. And all because he got up early for once in his life. Other then that nothing was out of places.
At lunch the things that happen were, what Yami now knows, “normal’ as well. Mailk and Marik would have a small “fight” over the some thing about their “love life“. Ryou would just shyly talk about the same topic of who he likes or if he has his eyes on anyone. Bakura would say something about it and then they all would be quite, finish eating and go on their way to the next class they had. Same old thing, same old day.
After school was normal too. Yuugi and Yami worked on their homework till dinner, where Yami wouldn’t let Yuugi out of his sight for one moment. Then they go back to their dorm room and get ready to take a bath. In the bath room Yami would, again, stay near Yuugi at all times, and Yuugi would wish to be somewhere other then the bath room. They would go back to their bedroom and which some TV, or play a game then go to bed for the night. And that night, like the one before, Yuugi would wake up alone to fined that once again that he had gotten into Yami’s bed. Then he knowing he had to get out of Yami’s arms and go back to his own bed.
This is how things were for the whole week. Then something new happens in one of the classes that Yuugi had with Ryou and Bakura. While Yuugi and Bakura were working on an essay about the history of some Great Spell Caster or another, Ryou had fallen out of his chair in pain. In a moments time Bakura was by Ryou and starting to pick him up off the floor. Right as Bakura got Ryou up off the floor the teacher came up and started telling everyone to calm down.
“Everything is going to be alright. Bakura, Yuugi can you take Mr. Lowlight ( having fun with names okay?) to the healing ward? Make sure he is going to be okay. Here is a pass for the rest of the period.” Was the entire teacher said before sending them on their way to the healing ward, without getting an answer from either Bakura nor Yuugi.
Bakura all but ran down the halls to the healing ward. The whole way over he kept saying, “ I knew this was going to happen. Stupid, you should have, I should have, ohh. Just hope that you learn your lesson from this and do something about it.”
Yuugi didn’t know what was wrong with his friend and was very worried that is was something very bad. For all Yuugi knew at that time someone could have giving Ryou a potion that would hurt him or something like that. “Bakura is Ryou going to be okay?”
“Ya, stupid here will be just fine as soon as I get him to the healing ward and do something.” with that Bakura turn down one more hall way and came to the door of the healing ward. “Open the door for me will ya?”
Yuugi didn’t say anything and just opened the door to let Bakura in and then sliped in after him. At this time Yuugi really wanted to know what was wrong with his friend Ryou. His head was spinning with what it could be. Everything from a spell to poison went thought his head in moments.
Right then an old looking women step up to them and took one look at Ryou and knew what was going on. “Put him on that bed and I will get him something for the pain.” With that she was gone and Bakura was putting Ryou down on the bed she had pointed to.
She came back in only seconds with a bottle of green looking liquid and a small cup. She put some of the green liquid into the cup then moved close to Ryou. “Okay now I need you to hole him up so he can drink this. It will make most of the pain go away for now. From there, do you know what to do?” she asked not even looking up to Bakura.
“Yes, I know what to do from there. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later anyway. I am just happy that it happen while I was around to do something about It.” as mad as Bakura sounded at that time he was truly happy that he had been there in the end.
“ Okay I well leave you to it then. Oh, and if it takes longer then the next period I will give you three a pass to go back to your dorm rooms for the day.” with that she pulled a curtain around the bed and lifted to go to her office till she was need again.
Bakura just sat down and waited for the painkiller to start working and Ryou and for him to wake up. Yuugi stood there for a moment then give a light jump when Bakura started talking. “Yuugi, there is something that I am going to do but, I need you to step outside the curtain. I am going to talk to Ryou about something. And it would be easier for him if he couldn’t see you. It is going to be hard with just me around alone. I don’t need him to stop just because he shys up.”
“Okay, I will be right out side the curtain if you or Ryou need me.” Yuugi could tell that it was better to do as Bakura had asked him. Bakura was far from his normal self and even acted more kind then he ever really did. That would have told anyone the same thing it told Yuugi at that time. And Yuugi step outside the curtain and walked over to a chair that was near by.
By the time Yuugi was sitting in that chair Ryou was just coming too. He looked around to find that he was laying down in one of the healing ward’s beds and the curtain was closed. The next things he notice was that Bakura seem to be the only other person around that he could see.
‘This is bad. I am in the same room as Bakura all alone with no one around. Ohh my head still hurts a little. This is just bad.’ was the first thought Rayou had after he had woken up and took a good look around him self.
“How are you feeling right now?” came Bakura’s voice in a soft tone.
“Um, my head hurt a little, but other then that I feel okay.” came Ryou’s soft reply. It was almost too soft for Yuugi to hear it right. But it was still a reply non the less.
“That’s good. Now that that is out of the way. STUPID, WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING.” the yelling Bakura was doing was the scariest thing. Normal when he yelled at someone they were died meat. But this time Bakura was not yelling because of someone doing or saying something to him. Oh no, far from it. The reason this time was something Ryou didn’t do and now need to be fixed.
“W-wh-what are you talking about, Bakura?” right then and there Ryou felt really small and like he wanted to died. He had gotten Bakura mad at him over something. And he didn’t know what it was. All he knew at that time was Bakura was mad and he had been the one to make Bakura mad.
“ What did you do? I will tell you what you did.” Bakura had calm down his voice so as not to make any trouble and he needed to get something done. “ What you did was meet your mate and then went too long with out getting together with them. I have seen how sleepily you are during class And now it has gotten to the point that you are having pains because of it. If you don’t say what you should have said weeks ago I am going to do it for you. And if I do it you won’t like It.” with that Bakura took one look at Ryou and waited for him to say something.
“Well, uh, Bakura, um, ohh this is so hard to say. But… BakuraIloveyou andIwanttobeyourmate (Bakura I love you and I want to be your mate).” this almost made Bakura laugh at how fast Ryou had said it all. And yet he didn’t know what Ryou had really said, he had an idea of what was said but he need to know for sure.
So calmly he asked, “What was that? You said it so fast that I didn’t hear you. Try it again. But this time slow down a little so I can hear what you said.”
Rayou took a deep bathe in and then slower then the first time he said “ Bakura well you see I… ah love…you and I want to-to be your m-m-mma-mate.” with that he let out the rest of the air he had been holding in at the time. He then closed his eyes and looked away from Bakura thinking the worst.
“Now was that so hard, Stupid? And yes you can be my mate if you want. I was starting to think that you would never say anything.” Bakura just laughs lightly and went to kiss Ryou on the cheek.
