A Secret Revealed

Chapter 7


It had now been two days since Joey had first come to Kaiba’s house and started working for him. Though just over these last two days it had been quite un easy since the incident that happened between the two. The only time Kaiba would talk to the Joey was when he needed something. Joey just kept to himself and did what he was told he still couldn’t forget what happened.


He wished it was all a bad dream, when ever he got near Kaiba a chill would run down his spine. When Kaiba would say his name he would shiver, Joey was hating it. He wouldn’t even call Kaiba a bad name if he was called a mutt. Joey tried so hard to forget but it just wouldn’t leave his head. He always wondered on how Kaiba just forgot something so extreme it was impossible for him.


Joey was asked to come into Kaiba’s office to spray and wipe the windows because they where all dirty. With just the two of them in their it was really quite, all that was heard was the clicks from Kaiba typing on his lap top.


Silence and Joey never really went well together it was always so hard for him not to talk. The only time he did talk was when he was with Debra and the other workers. When he was with Kaiba man that is a different story. He didn’t say a word, it had gone on for two days straight and Joey couldn’t take it anymore.


Joey stopped what he was doing and turned around, Kaiba was still typing away as if that was the only thing that mattered. “Alright that’s it I can't take this any longer” Joey said straight out. “Can't take what” Kaiba asked him why he was still looking at the screen “this silent treatment” Joey replied.


“I don’t see nothing wrong with it” Kaiba said back “well I do I mean its just ever since that night” “don’t remind me” Kaiba quickly said. This time he did look at Joey with an annoyed expression on his face. He pushed his desk chair back and stood up he faced towards Joey‘s direction.


“I don’t know about you but I would rather forget that unfortunate event if you don’t mind” he told Joey. He then started to walk towards the door “don’t walk away from me” Joey said without thinking. Kaiba stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder to see a very angry look on the blondes face.


“You might be able to get over it but” Joey said trying to think what he was going to say next. “But” Kaiba said back to him “is their something you want to tell me mutt if not I’m leaving” Kaiba grabbed the door knob. “I have tried so hard to forget but no matter what I do I cant” Joey said.


Kaiba turned around to face Joey but his face was looking towards the floor. “I don’t know why I mean its just been really confusing” he said. “Are you falling for me” Kaiba asked him, Joey’s face shot up. “No that’s not it” he quickly came out and said “but I am right if you cant forget that means you don’t want to and that you have fallen in love with me” Kaiba told him.


Joey couldn’t believe what he was hearing, was Kaiba right could he really be falling for him. Seto Kaiba was the one guy he truly hated and despised but a human’s feelings can do some outrageous things.


Joey looked back down to the floor when he soon felt a warm hand lift his chin up. His brown eyes met two blue eyes. “Tell me mutt why is it that you have fallen for me” Kaiba asked him with a serious look on his face. Joey was at lost for words how was he suppose to answer that when he really didn’t no why himself.


Kaiba wanted an answer from Joey and a bloody good one at that as well. “Tell me mutt why” he said again. Joey’s eyes looked to the side even though Kaiba was holding his chin he didn’t want to look at his face. He didn’t want to believe that he was actually falling for the enemy. “I I don’t know” was all he could say. His eyes then met back with Kaiba’s and in such a quick moment he felt a pair of lips on his own.


Joey’s eyes had widened from complete shock, Kaiba was kissing him on the lips. Was it real Joey still couldn’t believe Kaiba was doing it. The kiss was soon broken and still Joey’s eyes where wide open. “What’s the matter mutt I thought you where use to kissing a guy” Kaiba just said.


Then just like that Joey fainted and fell into darkness, when he woke up he realised he was in a room. Though it was not his bedroom it was someone else’s and it was really big. He slowly sat up and the bed he was in was massive. “Where am I” he asked himself not sure why because he didn’t have an answer. “Your in my room” he heard a voice coming from the door, Kaiba had just walked in.


“Why am I in your room” he asked Kaiba “you fainted you stupid mutt so I carried you to my room because it is closer to my office” he told Joey. Kaiba walked over to his bed and sat down his back was facing Joey.


“Why did you kiss me” Joey straight out and asked him, he needed to find out why Kaiba did that. “I don’t know” that was all he said. “What do you mean you don’t know, of course you should, you don’t just kiss someone for no reason” Joey said. “You got what you wanted right” Kaiba said to him. “What” Joey was rather confused now “you wanted a kiss from me and you got one so be happy” Kaiba just said.


He stood up ready to leave when a hand grabbed onto his sleeve “how can you say that, I didn't ask you to kiss me you jerk, you did that on your own” Joey said to him in an annoyed voice. Kaiba looked over his shoulder and saw an angry look on Joey’s face. “You kiss me straight out of the blue” Joey said letting go of Kaiba’s sleeve.


Kaiba turned around to look at him he never did realise that just that one kiss was actually a big deal to Joey. Kaiba had never kissed another guy before and wasn’t gay as well. For some reason he just did something which he never thought he would do. Of course Kaiba was having a bit of trouble with his sexuality.


He had never had a girlfriend because he always found them really annoying. He didn’t think about if their was another reason why he didn’t want one. Some people thought Kaiba was gay because he had never been in a relationship. For some reason though he just decided to kiss Joey without thinking at the time.


Now he wished he hadn’t done it altogether because this was just going to make things worse. Kaiba sighed he didn’t know what to say now “tell me something Kaiba” Joey started saying. Joey looked up at him “was their a reason why you kissed me or did you just do it for no particular reason” Joey asked him.


“Don’t get to into it mutt it was just a kiss and that was it, there is nothing more to be said about it” Kaiba told him. “Now if you don’t mind I would like you to leave my room” he told Joey. He got out of Kaiba’s bed and headed to the door. Before he opened it he stopped “you know Kaiba you just kissed another guy so how do you feel about that” Joey said back.


Kaiba heard the door shut ‘so what, that doesn’t mean that I am gay, does it’ Kaiba thought to himself. Now he was really unsure did that one kiss tell him that he was gay or was their another reason to it.
