Knight to Queen’s one

Chapter Seven: Knight to Queen’s one - or - Kaiba’s first night

Morning was bright and cheery. The weather promised a beautiful day, and Ryuuji made waffles. He was a stunning sight in a yellow blouse and a burnt orange skirt. His apron this morning was sheer and white. It had actual lace trimming it. And his hair was pulled up, but not in the same type of ponytail they were used to. For the first time, he was barefoot and they could see that he had been painting his toenails this morning.
As they ate, he cheerfully informed them that he wanted to go to the lake and have a swim and do some water skiing.
The three young men stared in shocked silence.
“What?” the smallest one said.
“Sorry, just a wet dream come true is all.” Honda blurted, and Jou smacked him. Kaiba rolled his eyes and began clearing the table.
“So, do you have a boat, or do we have to rent one?” Jou asked.
“Oh, that’s no problem. I have one. It came with the house. It’s not much but it will go fast enough and it’s very easy to run. Have any of you ever driven a boat? Or even been on one for that matter?” he asked.
Three teens cleared their throats and looked away.
“No big deal. I can teach you how to drive it. But I hope no one gets sick on it. I didn’t bring any sea sickness pills.”
Three male egos kicked into gear and began denying any chance that they would get sick on a silly boat. Ryuuji smiled and nodded at them. He knew that it was highly likely that one of them was about to look foolish after this, but that was the fun.

Soon, they were dressed for the beach and Ryuuji had packed a picnic lunch to take with them. They climbed into the SUV and drove the few blocks to the lake and parked under the trees.
Seto stepped away from the wheel and opened the door for Ryuuji, as the other two climbed out, grabbing supplies and following the two toward the water and a small boathouse there.
“It’s in here. It’s a 1956 Sheppard runabout 24' wooden boat in pristine condition, with an inboard 359 Chrysler, and a fiberglass reinforced hull. Ain’t she cherry?”
“Ryuuji, what are you talking about?” Seto asked.
“My boat. Look at it.” He responded, and they all turned to the wooden masterpiece that floated before them.
It was made completely of wood and was varnished until it reflected like a mirror. The seats were all upholstered in brown and red vinyl, and the steering wheel was polished wood to match the rest of the boat. The three men stared in rapt silence as any man worth his testosterone would.
“Open the boathouse door and lets go.” Said the cross dressing teen as the other three pulled themselves together.
Soon they were cruising around the lake and Ryuuji had given instructions to each in the handling of the boat and the best ways to avoid throwing up, and if you did need to, where to do it that would keep it out of HIS boat.
Jou took the wheel as the dark haired teen and Honda climbed over the side and into the water. Seto stared at the beautiful curves of his date for the evening in a black one piece swimsuit that rode up high on his hips and exposed a great deal of skin across his firm buttocks. It was mesmerizing trying to figure out how Ryuuji had hidden his most obvious male hood in this suit, but sure enough it was impossible to tell. He wore a bright orange lifejacket that covered whatever he had used to approximate breast, so could probably have gone without.
Jou gunned the boat to life again and soon the two were riding above the water and gliding across the lake. Honda fell first, as his inexperience caught up with him and they had to stop to get him, which sent Ryuuji into the water also.
This became a trend, as the three men tried unsuccessfully to stay afloat and the black haired expert was forced to endure the water for them.
Finally, Seto had enough.
“Just let Ryuuji go alone and we can stay in the boat. It’s obvious he isn’t enjoying this. I want to see how good he really is.” And they started up the boat, with Honda at the wheel.
“So, Jounouchi. How was your date, last night?” Seto asked as the sound of the motor camouflaged their voices from the other two.
“It was great, Kaiba. I doubt even you with all your money could out do me on this one.” Was the confident reply.
“We’ll see about that.” The CEO answered.

“Just put him in the living room. I’ll get an ice pack.” Ryuuji was saying as Seto and Honda carried the blond into the house.
“Nah, he’s okay. I’ll get him some ice, and we’ll put him ta bed. Right, Seto?” Honda was saying as they headed for the stairs.
“Yes. It’s just a mild sprain; he just needs to stay off of it. In bed is where he belongs.” The other brunet agreed.
“Yeah, and I’ll bring up dinner and we can eat together, okay Jou?” the shorter of the two asked.
“Right. Don’t worry about me, Ryu. Honda will take good care of me. But, this means you are stuck spending the evening with Ol’ Moneybags. Sorry, kid.” The blond said as they made the landing and turned down the hall toward his room.
“If I didn’t know better, Jounouchi. I’d swear you fell off of that rock on purpose.” Seto said, gritting his teeth.
“I did not. Just get me to my room and I’ll let ya alone fer your date.”

Kaiba was completing his set up and had already offered to cook dinner for everyone tonight. Ryuuji was taking a long soaking bath as he cooked and decorated the room for his idea of an intimate meal.
Honda made a brief appearance in the kitchen to pick up enough food for him and Jou and promised to make himself scarce for the rest of the day.
The smell of food led the dark haired teen down the stairs and into the kitchen to catch the CEO humming to light tune that was playing on a nearby radio.
“I didn’t know you sang, Seto.” Ryuuji said, as he leaned against the doorframe. Seto turned and smiled, stepping closer and winking broadly.
Makes you think perhaps that love, like youth, is wasted on the young,” he sang, as he pulled the daintily dressed teen into a quick twirl around the room.
When Seto stopped and stepped back to look at his date, Ryuuji had to stifle a blush at his actions. “Okay, so you sing,” he whispered, as the brunet looked him over from head to toe. He was secretly worried about tonight, being alone with Kaiba and all. He had spent more time choosing his clothing, and the results were doing wonderful things to Seto’s libido. A light blue, cropped t-shirt with a low dipped neckline was easily the exact color of the three-tiered skirt that came only to the half way point of the thin teens thighs. He had curled his long black hair and it flowed around him like a dark wave. Tiny blue flowers sprinkled about to decorate his coiffure. It was the perfect compliment to Seto’s navy blue casual suit with a light blue silk shirt under the open front jacket. The only thing that didn’t fit was the bright orange apron the brown haired teen was wearing over his ensemble.
“You look ravishing,” Kaiba said, smiling oddly.
“Well, now that was not expected. Are you sure you are Kaiba Seto?” Ryuuji asked.
“Are you sure you are Otogi Ryuuji, the Dice King?” the CEO retorted.
“Maybe Dice Queen for tonight.” The darker teen answered. “What’s for dinner?”
“You’ll see. Now come with me.” And he led the other to the pre-set dining room. Here Ryuuji stopped and gawked. The room was darker than usual, as the lights were out and there were about twenty small tapered blue candles scattered around. The white linen cloth covered the table and there were dark blue napkins set on silver edged china dishes, folded in the shape of swans, but not quite.
“Are those dragons?” he asked.
A whisper in his ear sent a quiver down his spine. “Do you like them?” Seto asked.
Ryuuji only nodded as he stepped up to the chair Kaiba held out for him. He looked closer at the dishes and realized that nothing here was his. These dishes, napkins and cloth were all new.
Seto lifted the cover from a tray and the smell of fish filled the room, but in a pleasant way.
“I hope you like the way I do sushi. I have experimented on Mokuba, and he says I am a natural.” And the platter was brought to the table.
Kaiba was being modest as it turned out and the food was exquisite. Sushi and crab puffs were followed by a, Korean style, fried rice with sweet and sour pork. It was amazing.
As they ate they talked about business and the various deals they had going at the time. Ryuuji admitted that he was about to close a deal that Seto had stepped back from a few weeks before. The brunet chuckled as the other realized that the CEO of Kaiba Corp had purposely let him have the contract.
“Why?” he asked. “You dropped out just in time, too. If you had left the negotiations sooner, a bigger company might have stolen it from me.”
“I only got involved when I heard you were interested. I made sure that you would be the only competition before I pulled my interest. You got a good deal, I hope?”
“Yeah. When you lost interest they took a lower bid.” The dark haired one sighed. “Thank you, Seto. It was nice of you.”
“I didn’t need that location. It will be good for you, though. What are you planning for it?” he asked.
“Mmm, clothing store. For gamers. I think I have lined up a great designer, and I will put up an arcade around the back. It should be fun to shop for clothes.” He added.
“You don’t enjoy shopping?” Kaiba asked. Ryuuji smiled, devilishly.
“Are you asking Ryuuji the Dice Master or Nanashi?” he asked back.
“Touché, so Nanashi likes to shop, but the Dice master finds it boring?” he amended.
“Yes, that’s right. Now, I am fairly certain you didn’t go to all this trouble and then forget desert?”
“Wait here.” Seto said, standing and blowing out the candles one by one, leaving only the three longest ones in the center of the table. He stepped out the door only to return with a wide silver bowl. He set it aside to pick up a bottle and pour it’s contents into the bowl, then he lit another match and dropped it close enough to set the liquid on fire. The room glowed with it and after the flame had licked the entire concoction the brunet carefully put it out. “I have made you, Charlotte alla Milanese.” He said, as he carefully dished out the sweet fruit and bread desert.

The dishes were collected and placed in the sink for later washing, as Seto led his date to the living room where he had moved the furniture around and some soft music played. The fireplace once more held a roaring fire and the room was aglow in it. There were no quilts on the couch and there were candles here also. Seto lit them before he pulled the dark haired one closer and they moved to the call of the song. It was warm and they were close enough to smell each other’s personal scent.
Seto held Ryuuji close and allowed his hands to move only to places that were not too familiar. He would not overstep himself here, and ruin what strides he had made.
Ryuuji was melting in the intimate embrace and allowed the brunet to twirl him around the room. It was easy to match the footsteps of such a good dancer, and he had only to remember that in this dance Kaiba was the leader.
“Tell me, Seto. Tell me, why you want me?” He asked as they floated around the room.

:::Ah the romance, the intrigue, the sex . . . wait, there was no sex. Where did I put that? Oh, it's probably in the next chapter. Unless a certain brunet screws up.
