Nazo no Kisu (Mysterious Kiss)

Welcome one and all to Chapter 7. Thanks to all who are following this and reviewing. I can't say it
enough! In today's chapter, we go to Jou's apartment. Everyone's going to be there, will you?

*Thanks Horizont for the advice. I'll keep it in mind. And if you think this is bad, a 3rd language will
be added later.* ;)

Chapter 7: The Plan

I'm so glad to have him out of my hair! I can't believe he stayed the night with me! I can't believe
I fucked him...

Anzu, I'm sorry. Even though you don't know. I'm sorry.

I walk into Domino Apartments and get on the elevator. I press 10 and the door shuts and the
elevator starts to rise to the 10th floor. With a ding of the bell, the door opens and I walk down
the elegantly designed hall to apartment 1024.

I hear a lot of talking a laughing coming from inside. Guess everyone's here except for me.

'knock knock'

"Who is it?" Jou's voice says.

"Yugi."

A few seconds later, the door opens and I walk in.

"About time you got here! Atemu must have been in there a long time!" Jou says jokingly.

I leave my shoes in the foyer and follow Jou into the den where everyone (Jou, Shizuka, Anzu,
Mai, Otogi, Honda, Ryou, and Malik) is.

"So, any ideas yet?" I ask as I walk straight over to Anzu and kiss her on the cheek.

"Nah. We've been goofing off more than brainstorming!" Anzu says laughing and blushing.

"You got any ideas Yugi?" Malik asks me.

"No. I don't." I say wrapping my arm around Anzu.

"You're going to have one idea if you keep being so clingy to Anzu-chan." Otogi says laughing.

I quickly remove my arm and Anzu and I blush, very hard.

"Hey I just thought of something." Ryou says.

Everyone's eyes go straight to Ryou.

"Maybe we should make up a poem about Mokuba. Each one of us making up a line or two about
our thoughts about him and telling Kaiba that he always has friends like us to help him get
through the tough times."

"That's a great idea." Shizuka says.

"I'll go get everyone pen and paper." Jou says standing up and leaving the room.

"When everyone's finished with their lines, we can put it together into one poem and give it to
him... Well, maybe Jou should give it to him." adds Ryou.

"I think we should all be there." Mai says.

'Psst. Psst.'

Huh?! What's that?! I look around and then out the window. There, I spot...you guessed it...Atemu.
Wait?! We're on the 10th floor!

Everyone in the room fades and the only ones left are me and Atemu.

"Why do you keep doing this Atemu?!" I ask.

"Because, this is the only way I can talk to you the way I want to."

"Go away."

"You don't mean that, do you?"

"Yes, I do. You can go back to Egypt for all I care."

"Technically, I am Japanese. I was born here at Domino City hospital 17 years ago on June 4th."

"Wait, so now we have the same birthday?! I was also born on June 4th."

"Nice. See, we have so much in common. We could even pass as twin brothers if we wanted to."

"Shut up Atemu."

"So this is where Jounouchi stays. This is a very nice and expensive apartment complex."

"Jou's father died some time ago and left his family with a nice inheritance. Jounouchi and
Shizuka are literally set for life."

"Nice. So, am I invited to the party? Or do I have to go to Kaiba's?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know, that today has been a year since Mokuba's death. He needs to be comforted. I know a
way to make him feel better. To ease the pain of his brother's death."

"What are you talking about? What are you going to do to Kaiba?!"

"Oh...nothing."

Everyone comes back into the room and I'm holding my paper and pen. What could Atemu be
up to?! I need to find a way to leave and go to Kaiba's...

There's no telling what is going through that man's mind!

I know how. I press my pocket and my cell phone rings. I take it out my pocket and 'answer' it.

"Moshi moshi."
"Yea..."
"But I'm at Jou's. Can it wait?!"
"Ok. I'll be there in a few."
"Ja."

I reluctantly 'hang up' my phone and sigh in defeat.

"What's wrong koi?"

"Mom called and said that she and dad have to go to Kyoto and they need me there to work the
shop until they get back."

"Can't your grandpa work?"

"No. He at some kind of thing this weekend and he won't be back until tomorrow."

I quickly write something sentimental and nice about Mokuba and hand my paper to Jou.

"Wow, that's nice Yugi. I hate you have to go. We'll come by later to tell you how everything
went at Kaiba's."

"Thanks all. See you later." I say jumping up and literally running out the door.

Sorry everyone. I hate I lied to you...

I go straight to Kaiba Manor and knock on the door. It opens, and standing on the other side is
Kaiba's right hand man, Izono.

"Kon'nichiwa, Izono-kun. Is Kaiba-kun here?"

"Yes, he is, you can come in."

"Arigatou."

I walk in, leaving my shoes in the rack near the door.

"Follow me please, Yugi-kun."

I follow him upstairs and to a bedroom door. He knocks and Kaiba opens the door. I peek in and
see Atemu sitting on the bed.

"Seto-sama, Yugi-kun is here to see you."

Izono steps to the side and I stand there in awe for a second.

"Kon'ninchiwa Kaiba-kun."

"Yugi! I'm glad to see you. Come on in. Arigatou, Izono."

Izono bows and I walk in the room. The door shuts behind us.

"What brings you here? Atemu was here just putting a smile on my face. He was telling me that
you and him are good friends. Now why haven't you told me this?"

I guess in a way Kaiba sees me as a little brother too...

He's become so protective of me and especially of Jounouchi.

"Atemu and I just really talked to each other about two weeks ago."

"Really. He's a wonderful duelist too. He even beat you yesterday."

What is he really up to?! I sneak a peek at him, to see him giving me his classic lust filled-annoyed
smile.

My eyes close and the image of him giving me head last night...

"Yugi?! Yugi?! Are you ok?!"

"Huh...oh yea. I was just thinking about something. Sorry about that."

"No problem. Hey Atemu. Do that thing you was doing before Yugi came."

"Ok. Close your eyes, both of you."

I close my eyes. I begin to see images of last night...and more images of me and him sexually...
This was more of us making love... Us loving each other. It seemed too real as he appears in front
of me, and kisses me.

Those same feelings of calmness, serenity, warmness spread through me like wildfire. I feel my
body began to relax more as his arms were wrapped lovingly around me as if to say 'Yugi, you're
mine as I am yours. I love you. I will protect you no matter what. Even if it costs me my own
life. I will always be there for you...with you. No matter what.'

My eyes shot open and I breathe heavily... Not knowing what to think of the words that was just
said to me.

I look around and see Kaiba laying on his bed with a very large smile on his face and Atemu sitting
on the edge, talking to Kaiba.

I touched my lips, still feeling the effects of the vision...the images...or was it reality?

"Wow Atemu. That was great! I enjoyed it! How do you do that?" Kaiba asks.

"I don't know. It's something I've been able to do as long as I can remember. I've always been able to
portray images of one's true heart, someone's desire into their imagination and make it seem like
reality."

"I've always wanted to ride on a real Blue-Eyes White Dragon. It was great! Especially when Mokuba
was there. It felt all too real. Atemu, you've really helped me so much! Arigatou gozaimasu!"

"Anytime."

"Hey Yugi, what was your vision?" Kaiba asks me.

I don't think he really want to know.

"Me and Anzu. She's so beautiful...naked..." I say making up a quick lie.

My eyes look at Atemu. He has a strong look of doubt in his eyes. He knows that my vision was of
me and him.

'knock knock'

"Now who could this be?"

Uh oh...the lie...everyone's here! I gotta hide...

"Kaiba!" I whisper loudly as I stand in front of him.

"What's wrong?"

"Umm...don't let anyone know I'm here. I need a place to hide."

"Why?"

"Because I told everyone I was going home, but I had to come here for something."

"Ok... So why should I lie to my friends?"

"Just do this for me please Kaiba." I'm literally begging him to hide me somewhere.

'knock knock'

"Kaiba! Open up. Its me! Jounouchi...and everyone else!"

"Onegai shimasu Kaiba! If you do nothing else for me ever, please just do this!" I plead.

"Oh all right. Go in the bathroom and get in the tub and pull the door shut. No one should be
able to see you even if they do go in to use the bathroom."

"Thank you very much Kaiba!" I say going in the bathroom and doing as was told.

I hear the bedroom door open and a chorus of laughing and talking as everyone enters.

Damn...Atemu. I forgot about him. Please don't say anything to them.

About an hour or so later...I don't know I think it was an hour. The bathroom light comes on and
the door to the tub opens. On the other side are Kaiba, Jounouchi, and Atemu.

He's still here...

"Yugi! What are you doing here?! Everyone's gone to the game shop."

"I'm sorry, Jounouchi. I had to come over here for a minute. That minute lasted longer than I
thought...But to tell you the truth, my mom and dad got back quicker than I thought."

"You lie. Kyoto is at least a 3 hour drive one way." Jou says.

"Ok...they got another call saying that they didn't have to go. They called me and since I was so
close to Kaiba Manor, I decided to come on over."

"Liar."

"Ok....Jounouchi. You got me." I say in defeat. "I told you we needed to talk alone. So...we need to.
I have some things to tell you..."

"Ahh...umm...okay..." Jou says nervously.

"Come on Atemu. I'll show you around the Mansion." Kaiba says grabbing him and literally dragging
him out the bathroom.

"Wait, Kaiba, I want to know what they're going to say!" are Atemu's final words before the bathroom
door closes.

Jou sits on the side of the tub and looks at me.

"I'm listening."

he tell him everything? Or just sugar coat it...or just skip over a LOT of things...Or will he just make
