Welcome to Chapter 7 in this sequel to 'No More Us'. I really hope that everyone is enjoying the story so far. Thanks for reading and reviewing I can't say it enough, because I truly do appreciate it! Ima, tanoshimu!
Chapter Nana
Yugi opened the door and ran past his mom and grandpa, who were eating lunch in the kitchen, and ran upstairs to his room and locked the door.
'Why Yami?! Why did you almost try to kill me?! The sen'nin mark appeared on your forehead...it was like you're obsessed with me. Kami...'
"Yugi?! Yugi?!" yelled his mom as she knocked on the door. "Are you ok?!"
"Yea...okaa-san...I'm fine."
"Are you sure? You looked like you had a hard time while you were out. Anything you need to tell me?"
"Iya...I forgot I left something on in here. It may have started a fire."
"Oh. Ok then. There's some sandwiches for you downstairs. I need you to close tonight. Papa and I have to go to Tokyo at 5. Around 5:30 or so, a group of kids from the Summer Duel Camp coming by to buy some cards and to get some tips. Hopefully Yami and Katsuya-san can be here too. I did invite them too."
'Tsch...why Yami of all people?'
"Ok. That's fine. We're leaving at 4. So, be here ok."
"Hai."
Yugi could hear her foot steps fade away as she went back downstairs.
'That's the last thing she need to know.'
Yugi opened his backpack and took out a notebook and a pen. He then sat at his desk and began writing...
11 Kugatsu 20xx
Yami,
Why did that happen? Why are you so possessive of me?! We're broken up,
forever. I hope one day you can get that through that thick skull of yours. I bet
you're wandering why I came by today...because it's been 6 months...6 months since
I last had some and I needed it. Yea, I know I'm sounding desperate and pathetic, but
I was. Why not Jounouchi-kun you ask? Because...I respect his relationship with
Kaiba-kun, and unlike you...I'm no longer having sex with my best friend. I know that
you and Kaiba had fucked around, I could smell it on you. I don't think I even gave
you enough time to re-freshen up. I will admit though, your sex is still as good as
before. No wonder Kaiba keeps coming back to you. I bet if you did Jounouchi-kun
also, the three of you could have a san-mono(1). Heh, wouldn't that be wonderful
for you.
Yugi sighed as he began to feel a bit tired. He looked at the clock.
'1:25...I got time for a nap.'
He laid down in bed and set the alarm clock for 3:30.
(Yami's Office)
Yami had finished freshening himself and was playing 'Reshelf of Destruction'.
'Damn this game! I'm tired of losing to Bandit Keith!! Stupid deck! I hate these rules!' (AN: I have this game and I'm at the point where I'm trying to rescue Ishizu, but I can't defeat Keith to rescue her...been doing that for about a month or so.)
'Knock knock'
Yami pauses his game. "Come in."
The door opens and Kaiba walks in.
"How is the game going, Yami?" he asks as he sits in one of the chairs.
"I'm enjoying the storyline and all, but it's getting a bit hard as to where I have to rescue Ishizu. My level isn't high enough to get cards I need."
"Ohh. You look worn out, is anything wrong?"
"No. I'm fine. Just thinking about tonight. Mrs. Mutou asked me to help Yugi tonight with some kids from a Summer Duel Camp. I think it's the one sponsored by you."
"Yes, it is."
"Are you coming?"
"Yes. I'm coming. It's going to be a surprise for the kids. I'm going to be at Kame Game Shop when they get there."
"That's nice of you."
"Shizuka ni, Yami!"(2)
"What...what did I say?" Yami says snickering. "It'll be a great chance for you to show some charity and compassion. Show a bit of your nice side for a change. Put a smile on your face. Jounouchi-kun will be there too."
Kaiba made a sour face at Yami then got up.
"I have work to do." He says leaving Yami's office.
"I bet you do." replies Yami as he goes back to his game.
