One Down, One to Go
Zypher Dragon: Well, I had a lot to do but finally I have written this chapter.
Yami: So now here’s chapter 7 of Creatures of the Night.
pterpter 7: One Down, One to Go
After their ‘nightly activities’, Seto and Ruby looked down to their koibitos. ‘Now we finally have our koibitos, I just hope Bakura, Crimson, Toben or Marik don’t come for them.’ At the same time, Yami and Aqua thought of the same thing, keeping their little angel close to them. Outside, four demons waited for morning to come; eyes of dark lavender, dark brown, blood red and dark lavender a shade darker narrowed. “What should we do now Bakura?” the one with dark lavender eyes asked.
“We will follow Yami, Seto, Ruby, Aqua and their kois wherever they go and if we don’t spot our own mates wherever they are, once they’re alone, we kill them with no mercy.” Bakura said, as the sunrise came. Aqua watched the sunrise then got up quietly from the bed and went to put on his uniform, waking Yami up to tell him where he was going then let him go back to sleep.
When he got outside, he took in a breath of fresh morning air then unfurled his wings and flapped them once before going off into the air, barely aware of the two shadows beneath him but paid no heed to them. Once he was done with his morning flight, it was close til the first bell rings and he flew down to the school gates, meeting up with Yami and Yugi there.
“Hi Aqua.” Yugi greeted cheerfullynninnning up to him to give him a hug. He returned the hug, smiling. “Hello to you to, Yugi.” Just then Yugi’s friends walked up to them but Jou and Kaiser was missing. “Hey Yugi, did you, Yami or Aqua seen Jou and Kaiser after you left the arcade yesterday?” Ryou asked. “No, why?” Yugi asked back. “When we went to his house on the way here, he nor Kaiser were there.” Malik said as he and Topaz walked up to the group.
“I wonder where they could be.” Diamond said. Up on a roof near the school, Bakura and Crimson watched Ryou and Diamond. ‘They have to be our mates, there’s no other way.’ Bakura thought before he and Crimson disappeared from the roof, appearing outside the school gates with a uniform on to lessen suspicion.
“Come on, Marik and Toben will be showing up soon to find their own mates.” Bakura said and Crimson nodded, following behind him. Yugi turned around to the gates and gasped at the boy and sphinx who walked in. They looked so much like Diamond and Ryou but looked a lot different than them. He turned to Yami. “Yami do you think you know the people that walked in?” Yugi asked pointing to Bakura and Crimson.
Yami eyes narrowed, feeling the dark demon aura radiating off both of them as they started to walk over to their small group. “I don’t know them but I have heard of them, let’s go inside Yugi.” Yami said, leading him inside and Aqua followed behind him, so did their friends, not trusting the new boy but Ryou and Diamond were held back by Bakura and Crimson.
Ryou turned around a gasped lightly at the similarity between him and the newcomer having not seen him when he first came in. “Hello.” Bakura said, taking his hand off his shoulder, Crimson doing the same. “Um, hi.” Ryou said albeit a bit afraid. “Why do you sound afraid tenshi?” Crimson said, walking closer to Diamond who backed away.
“Well, we just met you both and we haven’t even gotten your names yet.” Ryou said and both him and Diamond left for the school until Bakura grasp his wrist gently. “Wait don’t go yet. My name is Bakura Akuma and he’s Crimson Jewelstone.” Bakura said as Ryou and Diamond turned around once more.
“Ok then Bakura, why are you and Crimson here, I mean, you are wearing uniforms but it seems you didn’t come here as new students.” Diamond said. “Ah so you figured us out. Well we came here to find you two, Ryou and Diamond.” Crimson said. Both Ryou and Diamond looked shocked. “But, why would you want to find us Bakura, we don’t have anything special?” Ryou asked.
“Because we found love at first sight.” Bakura said and pulled Ryou into a kiss, Ryou being shocked for a second but melted into Bakura’s embrace and kissed him back hesitantly. Diamond watched them never noticing Crimson walking up behind her. He hugged her from behind and nuzzled her neck, inhaling her scent which smelt like roses.
She purred and nuzzled him back. Bakura broke the kiss and looked into Ryou’s eyes. “Spend the day with us Ryou and Diamond. It will be ok to miss at least one day from school. We will even do the favor of calling the school so they will know you’re out sick.” Bakura said, holding Ryou close as if he would lose him if he let go, Crimson doing the same.
Ryou and Diamond nodded and there bre both led out of school grounds, no one noticing they were gone.
