Chapter 6
Yusei gently held Sara in his arms, knowing she was still worried about him. He embraced her with his wings as an afterthought, the teenage girl gasping at the soft brush of his feathers against her bare arms. Yusei smiled, pulling her into a tender kiss. Sara melted into the warmth of his embrace, feeling like she was in heaven. She wanted to give something back to the two wonderful supernatural men who had filled her life with such happiness in just barely a week. Her eyes fluttered open as Yusei broke the kiss.
“Yusei,” she breathed, her voice weak from the cocoon of warmth she was in. The angel looked down into her eyes, smiling gently.
“Yes, koi?” he asked softly, nearly making her faint. Sara recollected herself before continuing.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that you two are my soulmates,” she whispered. Yusei nodded, Yami coming over and gently placing his arms around her too.
“Let’s not rush things, love,” Yami suggested gently. Sara shook her head.
“It’s not rushing when every fiber in my body it telling me it’s so right,” she replied, leaning her head back into Yami’s chest. The angel and genie looked at each other. Obviously she was caught up in the spell of angelic beauty Yusei was exhibiting, not truly ready. Yusei placed a lingering kiss on her cheek.
“Let’s wait until tomorrow, koi, we’ve been through a lot today,” he told her softly. Sara nodded, and Yami took her home using his shadow powers while Yusei lay down on the couch once again, his modified home not having a true bedroom.
