Sleep talk
Gracious, I didn't have the time yesterday to type this and post it, so sorry! Since I'm off tomorrow, I'll probably do two chapters as compensation. Thanks again to my reviewer, and to everyone who help me get over 150 hits! ok, I'll shut up now, here's the next.

“Chazz!” A voice called. He was having that dream again, the one where he and Alexis were in a secluded area alone. The same catalytic dream that made him realize his feelings for the blonde. This time, the dream seemed different, the location was the forest by the spring, and the voice did not belong to the obelisk girl.
“Chazz!” The voice called again, slightly more audible now. Dream Chazz looked around for the person who the voice belonged to, although he already had an idea of who it was.
“Chazz, I love you!” This time, the voice was right behind the dream embodiment of the slifer student. Said student turned, ending up face to face with his tutor. This information didn’t seem to bother him. Actually, dream Chazz was rather enthralled. Just as the animated slifer student made contact with the welcoming tutor in the form of a gentile kiss, real life Chazz woke up screaming at the top of his lungs. He felt cold sweat running down the back of his neck. What could have possibly caused such a nightmare?
“Chazz!”
Was he hallucinating now? He was quite certain that he was awake, but he could still hear that dreaded voice calling his name. Maybe he hit his head harder than he originally assumed. Perhaps if he collected his thoughts, that voice would go away.
“Are you alright Chazz?” That nagging voice called to him again, seemingly concerned. This was definitely not a dream.
The sleepy, disoriented slifer decided to answer that voice, then maybe the hallucinations would stop. “What do you want?” Hmm, that was weak.
“You were calling my name,” The tutor’s voice replied, “And then you started screaming. Are you hurt? Are you in need of assistance?”
“NO!” The student barked back. “I’m FINE! I don’t want your help, or need it! Get lost!”
“Why are you in the well then? Are you stuck?”
“I am not stuck! I don’t need your help! Go away!”
“Alright then.” The ra tutor replied, his tone quite unconvinced.
Chazz breathed a sigh of relief. The last thing he needed was that nerd talking at him about how he needs to be more careful. Good thing he was so easy to get rid of, right?
Suddenly, the stranded student felt his stomach growl, and hunger could make the boy do some crazy things. What would happen if no one else came around today? Would he have the strength to get out? If he couldn’t muster the strength, did that mean he’d have to stay in the well, starving all day? Time to weigh the options, either suffer in the middle of no where, or humble himself enough to ask him for help. Both were not positive options, but the latter seemed more favourable to starving to death in a well.
“Wait, come back!” Chazz yelled. Knowing his luck, the tutor would have already gone, and he’d be stuck there anyway.
By some miraculous turn of events, the voice returned. Never before had the Princeton boy felt so relieved to hear someone. “Did you change your mind?”
“What do you think? The Chazz doesn’t belong in the woods! Hurry up and get me out of here!”
“You can climb out, the tree roots make for a fantastic ladder.”
“Err, I can’t.” That was a lot harder to admit than it should have been.
“Are you hurt?” It sounded more apologetic the second time.
“Whatever! Does it matter? Are you going to help me or not?”
“Alright, I’m coming down.” The tutor stated. Abruptly, said tutor landed in front of his student, looking him over. Finally, after a few long seconds of scrutiny, Bastion mumbled, “well, you don’t seem to be injured.”
Chazz growled, “who cares?! How are you going to get me out of here?”
“That’s simple, just hold on to me and I’ll climb out with you on my back.”
Worst idea ever. He certainly didn’t want to have to touch that demon ra. Too bad his stomach told him to ignore all logic and do anything to get out. “Fine.” He replied in a defeated tone.
“Climb on then.” The saviour ra said, lowering himself.
Against his better judgement, Chazz wrapped his good arm around his tutor’s neck while his damaged arm rested around the other’s chest. Both of his legs wrapped around tightly around Bastion’s waist. If he were in his right mind, he’d have shuddered at the thought of what he was doing, but he currently wasn’t in his right mind.
“Hold on tight.” The ra mumbled as he began climbing. Wow, he was a lot stronger than he looked!
Soon, Chazz noted that he was completely out of the well. He could see the sky, now a clear blue with some clouds, and he could see some trees pass slowly by. When did that happen? Nevertheless, he no longer needed to be carried, so he wasn’t going to be carried.
“Put me down!” The black clad slifer commanded. This order was absolute.
“Are you sure you can walk?”
“YES! Put me down NOW!”
“Very well.” The yellow clad student uttered. He lowered himself to allow Chazz to safely dismount. “If you want me to carry you to the nurse’s office, I don’t mind.” He added.
“I can get there myself, now leave me alone!” Chazz barked, attempting to limp off. What a way to start the weekend. Hopefully Ms. Fontaine could mend his minor injuries in time for him to enjoy Sunday, but that was unlikely.
As he (slowly) made his way to the school infirmary, a new thought came to him. Bastion said that Chazz was calling his name! Did he hear anything else? If his sleep chattering directly linked to the dream he had, who knows what kind of ideas that invoked in that ra’s mind.
His expression turned frantic, how would he escape this? Oh no, oh no, how could this be reversed? Could it be possible that he didn’t actually say anything incriminating?
“Chazz, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Ms. Fontaine said as the terror struck slifer slowly hobbled through the door. “Is something wrong?”
“Ah, nothing! Err, well I think my arm is broken.” He knew it wasn’t broken, but it was a feasible lie at the moment.
“What about your ankle, you’re limping.”
“I, ah! Why don’t you check for me?”
“Ok, wait there.” The nurse said, calmly walking into the x-ray room.
This situation couldn’t possibly get any worse. Somehow he’d have to find out if he’d said something he’d regret. Maybe he’d ask the ojamas later. Right now, wondrous thoughts of lunch pushed out the recent terror assumptions.

I'm thinking about incoporating more characters and relationship development soon. Atticus will be in the next chapter, and maybe Syrus too. Hopefully I'll get the next two chapters up tomorrow.
