I push the door open and stand in the doorway, to see him standing at the window. The moonlight plays across his pale skin and short hair, and he’s so ethereally beautiful…
I can see what she sees in him. But I’ve seen it far longer.
I wrap my arms around him, and he drapes one around my shoulders, still looking out the window.
“You don’t love her, Seto…”
“No… but I like her well enough.”
I look out the window with him, at the night sky. After a moment, I pull him back toward the bed, one last time.
