Chapter 6: Trapped
They all saw him coming right at them. Even though he was walking toward them they felt that they wouldn't get away if they run from him. As he got closer the taller ones created a wall around their scared little friend waiting to see what would happen. He stopped three ft. in front of them.
"Get out of my way." His demonic voice demanded.
"Leave him alone!" Jou said taking a step back toward Yuugi.
"What do you want with him Yami?" Anzu asked.
"Give me the child." He continued his demand.
"No way, your a psycho!" Honda shouted at him.
"Oh I am, am I." Yami walked up to Honda and beat the shit out of him. Honda had no time to react, his assault was quick and precise. Jou looked at Yuugi then shouted at Anzu.
"RUN!" He said just as the maniac pounced at him and grapled with Jou easily knocking him down to the ground. He looked toward Anzu and Yuugi who just ran off together. Honda struggled to his feet to help Jou up.
"Why don't you finish us off?" Honda asked with spite.
"Those weren't my orders. The boy is condemned to die at my hands." He said as if under mind control. He walked off after Anzu and Yuugi. They were nowhere in sight of Atemu. They were hiding in a storage house.
"Anzu, if the worst happen's, I just want to tell you...I had a crush on you, I mean big time."
"You did, well, I can't say I ever thought of you in that way."
"Oh..Well, I just wanted to tell you....I wanted you to know..." He said feeling a bit hurt.
"Sorry Yuugi, It's just the way things are."
"You love Yami." He said hatefully.
"I don't love him, that nut-case is trying to kill you."
"yeah, and once I'm out of the way you'll have him all to yourself, but you'll have to share him. He's used to having more than one woman to fulfil him." Yuugi said not thinking.
"What is your problem, You can't face reality...I like you as a friend, Yami too until now, unless he decides to snap out of it."
"Stop saying things." He saddened.
"What's going on, why is he walking around like he's alive, and more importantly why is he trying to kill you?" Anzu asked.
"I met a lady at a museum, one thing lead to another and here he is. She did something to make him turn on me." He said.
"Is she like a scorcerus or something?" Anzu asked.
"Yes, sort of. She has a jewl on her forehead that kept her alive since Yami's past life. She was part of his Harem."Yuugi answered.
