House Arrest
Because of the ordeal of the school shooting
Jichan and Yuugi's mom kept Yuugi home until
things at Domino high quelled.
"Yuugi, phone call." Jichan entered Yuugi's room
and passed him the phone. Then left the room.
"Yuge it's me Jou, what are you doing tonight?"
"Nothing..." Yuugi answered.
"Wrong answere you and Yam are double dating
with me and a friend." Jou said.
"I don't know Jou, my family is still a bit freaked
out about what happened last month." Yuugi said.
"Come on Yuge, Yam set me up with Anzu, he says
I need to get back in the circulation of things." Jou said.
"He just means you got start dating again that's all." Yuugi said.
"I just wished he hooked me up with someone else like...."
"If you don't like her just tell her you want to be friends then
never talk to eachother again like all failed couples do." Said
Yuugi.
"Your coming with us tonight, what happened last month is over
with, no one is talking about it anymore, so when are you going
back to school?" Jou asked.
"I don't know, mom's thinking about sending me to another school." Yuugi
lowered his voice.
"That's gonna suck, we'll never see you again." Jou sounded bumed out.
"I hope I can get out tonight, I haven't left the house in weeks and I
haven't talked to Yami for a while so I don't know if he'd want to see me
tonight." Yuugi sighed.
"He told me to ask you, wich is strange I never thought Yami would
ever wanna play match maker." Jou said.
"He's the last person I'd expect." Yuugi laughed. "I'll ask Jichan if I
can go. ok."
"OK by." Jou hung up.
"Jichan." Yuugi walked over to the parlor to Jichan.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Can I go out with my friends tonight?" Yuugi asked.
"Oh no, no going anywhere." His mother said.
"But mom I've been stuck in here for weeks." Yuugi said.
"She's just worried about you." Jichan said then wispered to
Yuugi. "When she's on her meds."
"I heard that you old coot and for your information I take only
one!" She said. "Yuugi it will make us feel better if you stay home tonight."
"But mom you can't keep me here forever." Yuugi said.
"I said nooo." She sang.
"IT'S NOT FAIR!" Yuugi threw the phone on the floor.
"STOP IT YUUGI!" His mother yelled.
"NO I WON'T MOM I HATE YOU!" Yuugi ran to his room and slammed the door.
