Chapter 5
I handwrote this last night after writing the first 3 chapters of “The Neko Savior”. I know it’s short, but it’s meant to be. I was trying to relax and fall asleep. Didn’t work. (Wound up having to play Pokemon Pearl on my DS.) @_@

Nikki gently led Yusei to the bedroom, letting him get settled for the night before climbing onto the bed next to him. His black tail wagged happily, but he didn’t make any moves to act on his feelings, afraid of breaking the former hunter’s trust in him. Nikki placed a chaste kiss on Yusei’s lips, which only seemed to tease him. The human girl smiled gently.
“We’ll see what happens after that arm heals. I don’t want to hurt it and delay its healing process further,” Nikki said cheekily, winking at the werewolf. Yusei took her advice to heart.

Six weeks later and Yusei’s arm was finally fully healed. The werewolf and former hunter were sitting outside the cabin under a tree, enjoying some time alone as Yami slept through the daylight hours. Yusei looked up at Nikki hopefully. The hunter placed a lingering kiss on his lips, one with high implications. She stood up, hand brushing the werewolf’s shoulder. Yusei got up and followed, her pheromones telling him her intentions, even if her actions had failed.
