The Day After
Chapter Five- The Day After

Kagome sighed, trying to figure out what she should where. Her and Ryou hadn’t canceled their date. Why should they have? After all, Yami was fine. She looked in the mirror and shook her head,
‘Hell no.’ she thought, ‘Why do I even still have this piece of shit?’
Finally, twenty minutes later, she decided on jeans, and a plain red shirt. Nothing fancy. Downstairs she called to her mother.
“Mom! I’m going now!”
“Bye dear!” her mom yelled back.

She smiled when she reached the theater and saw Ryou waiting for her. Kagome rushed over and kissed his cheek softly. He hugged her quickly before pulling away.
“So, what do you want to see?”
She shrugged. “I don’t really care.”
He smiled. “Okay, look at what they’re showing and choose.”
She rolled her eyes at him. “Whatever.”
But then Kagome looked at the movie listings. “Uh, the western sounds good. I always did like watching guys who ride horses.”
Ryou grinned at her. “Guess I’ll just have to learn then, eh?”
“Guess you will.”
They walked forward and purchased their tickets.
Later, during the movie Kagome leaned over and whispered to him. “This is getting boring.” He nodded. “Let’s go.”
She smiled, standing up. Ryou followed her lead, and ignoring the grumblings of other people, they exited the theater. Outside Kagome looked at him.
“So, what now?”
“Well, I know a stable that offers rides on the beach. But they’re closed by now. We could do that tomorrow, but for now, wanna visit my place?”
She nodded. “Alright.”

Sorry this chapter was so fuckin short. But I’m hoping to have a lemon in the next chapter, or the eight chapter, it all depends on the mood I’m in. Sayonara until the next chappie!
