A Lustful Moment Part I

~Next day~

Inside the village....

Akeyana, her children, and Natasha had just returned to the city and are heading to the Palace. It was almost morning as the sun slowly rose high above the Palace and the night dispersed. The people were coming out of their homes preparing for the daily work ahead. As the villagers realized who was entering the city they greeted Akeyana with a warm welcome. And although, shprecpreciated it her mind was set on Maya. She wanted Maya to suffer severely but she didn't want to end up getting herself into trouble. After saying hi to old friends, she entered the Palace gates and snuck into the Palace silently.

Inside the Palace...

She had some guards carry her things up into her room as she prepared to surprise the Pharaoh. The twins sat on the bed staring at Akeyana as she paced back and forth waiting for Natasha. Natasha came bursting into her room and fell onto the floor. "Guess what Akeyana? I just saw the Pharaoh on the throne but I didn't say anything. I didn't want him to know you were here yet because you said that you wanted to surprise him. I also saw Maya out in the field working." Akeyana paused for a second and then walked over to the door. She peeked out the room and saw the Priests heading downstairs. "What's going on?"

"I don't know. Think we should go check it out?"

"Yeah, let's go." Akeyana took the twins by the hand and her and Natasha crept quietly down the stairs and hid behind a large pillar watching the Pharaoh. Then they saw Priest Mahado leg wig with two rows of guards following behind him. Natasha stared stiffly at the continuous rows of guards that followed behind the mighty Priest. "What's happening? Did someone get in trouble?"

Akeyana stuck her head out a little more and peeked around the pillar. "Doesn't look like it. But I have a funny feeling that it has something to do with Bakura, although, I'm not too sure."

"Could be. I haven't seen him around lately since the Pharaoh defeated him. Maybe he has come back for revenge."

"Let's follow them." As they were about to move someone tapped Akeyana on the shoulder and she jumped with fright.

"Oh, its only you Sarai. I thought you were somebody else." Natasha said as she placed her hand on her chest taking deep breaths. "You guys look like you've seen a ghost. So what's going on? Everybody has been looking for you Akeyana. Its been so long and I have much too tell you."

"Akeyana doesn't want to be seen just yet. She wants to surprise the Pharaoh. And she already knows about the situation with Maya. We'll take care of her later."

"Good. If your wandering what's going on. I'll tell you. Follow me." Sarai led them into the garden and they sat at the far end, were most of the flowers and plants were located so they could not be seen.

Inside the garden....

"Since you guys have been wandering about what's going on I'll tell you. While you were gone the guards found a group of men killed inside the bar. They knew it was Bakura. That was a sign for the Pharaoh and his Priests to start preparing for an attack. Priest Mahado decided that he would create a plan of his own. He wants to trap Bakura inside a fake tomb and seal it shut. The guards will be standing outside until the battle is over watching the tablet so they'll know who won. Hopefully it will be Priest Mahado. He is a magician. I'm sure it won't be too difficult. He'll be back before you know it and Bakura will be dead."

"Priest Mahado is strong but I know Diabound. It was mine once before and I intend to get it back. Diabound is like a highly trained Magician. It has many tricks and abilities and its power is inevitable, especially when it evolves. I adore Priest Mahado but I think someone should help him. Maybe someone like Priest Seto or Priest Shadah. Why can't they help him?"

"Priest Mahado wants to do this on his own and I think we should give him that right. He told me that when it comes to the Pharaoh, he is prepared to die for the sake of peace and prosperity. We should all have a little more faith in him and pray to Ra that he comes out alive."

"Your right but its just the fact that Bakura is a thief and you don't know what kind of tricks he'll pull especially when the Pharaoh isn't there to stop him."

Natasha cuts in. "True, but Priest Mahado is sealing the entrance shut and e ise is no way in or out and even if he did lose, Bakura would be stuck inside and eventually die."

"What's the matter Akeyana? You seem so uptight about it?"

"Its not that its just that he's my friend and I care dearly about all my friends."

"I see. Well if your that concerned I have the perfect outfit for you. I designed it myself along with a few others and who better to try it out on than our future Quee....redeemer. (whew)" Natasha and Akeyana looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders. "Alright ladies follow me." They left the Garden and went back inside the Palace and up into Sarai's room.

Inside Sarai's room....

"How about this. Its an all white hooded garment with colorful designs on the edges. I think it would fit you perfectly. What do you think?"

"I like it. Its very pretty. How long did it take you to make?" Akeyana said as she spun around and gazed into the mirror.

"Only a few days. It ward.ard. Putting all the fabrics together and stuff. I had some help though. It made things go much smoother and faster."

"It looks good on you Akeyana. You look like your innocent when we all know your really not." Natasha laughed.

"So Akeyana why are you so determined to help Priest Mahado? Do youw sow something we don't or do you like him?" Sarai asked while looking into the mirror at Akeyana who seemed to blush at the thought.

She covered her face and walked ove the the window.

"I like him as a close friend that's all. He's helped me see the finer things in life and in the Pharaoh. I would give anything to help out a friend in need." Natasha looked at Sarai and they both laughed. "What's so funny?" Akeyana said. "Oh nothing." The two girls got up and left. Akeyana headed out the Palace gates.

"Boy, Akeyana sure likes him doesn't she?" Sarai whispered to Natasha. "Yes she does. But then again, he is an attractive person so I understand how she feels. Love can be a real bitch."

Near the fake Tomb...

"I guess there's no fooling them. I tried to cover it up as much as possible but to avail they found out. I can't help who I love and like. I know I love the Pharaoh and I like Priest Mahado but...............oh......forget. Love can be such a bitch."

Akeyana snuck past the guards and stood on the left side of the tomb waiting for Priest Mahado to come closer. She crouched down and sat very quietly so no one would notice her. Priest Mahado stood in front of the tomb entrance talking to a guard as Akeyana moved in closer. When they were finished the guard walked away and Akeyana jumped up and grabbed Priest Mahado by the arm. "Hey wait!!!" Priest Mahado turned around "Who are you?"

"You don't remember me? I'm Akeyana." Priest Mahado removed the hood from her head and was shocked to find out that it really was her. "What are you doing here ana?ana? You could into trouble and besides I have some business to take care of with Bakura."

"I just wanted to say goodbye before you left. I didn't know for sure if you were coming back or not and I just felt that I needed to find you at all costs and tell you how I feel."

"I wanted to say bye to you too but I couldn't find you. I have a little bit of time left. What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well I uh..............I know the whole situation and I wanted to ask you if you are sure you want to do this?"

Akeyana turned around and looked up at the tomb and she began to picture an image in her head of Priest Mahado fighting Diabound.

He walked up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. "Of course I'm sure. I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't. I know it may seem a little farfetched for you all but I think I can stop him."

"I just don't want you to get hurt. I care about you and I don't want you to die. What I'm really trying to say is I like you a lot and although I love the Pharaoh I still like you too and if you don't like me in that way I understand, I just wanted to tell you that before you left."

"That's very sweet of you. I didnknowknow you felt this way but then again, I haven't really though about love. Now that I think about it, if it were possible maybe I would like to be with but since that will never happen it will only be a fantasy."

"I can't exactly say for sure about what came over me that made me feel this way but made its because you've helped me and the fact that ysuchsuch a loyal person to the Pharaoh and everyone else, its hard for me not to like you. Well I don't want to keep you waiting much longer but I hope you win and I'll see you when I see you." She put her hood back on and turned to walk away. He stared at her for a moment and then grabbed her by the waist and began passionately kissing her. She tried pushing him off slowly but then she stopped and began to enjoy this lustful moment. He released his grip from around her waist and stepped back a few feet.

Akeyana stared at the ground and then looked back up at Priest Mahado. "I guess part of my fantasy came true a little sooner than I had expected. Akeyana.......I'm terribly sorry. Maybe I was beginning to feel the same way you did. Its hard to explain but I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough."

A guard rushes over to Priest Mahado and Akeyana ducks down on the side of the tomb. "Preparations are complete. We are ready to begin." Priest Mahado nodded and the guard left. Akeyana appeared again and gave Priest Mahado a hug. "Well I guess this is it. Best of luck to you."

"If I do leave and I do not return give this to Mana for me." He handed her a letter and went inside the tomb and she stayed their until the guards sealed it shut.
