Bad Dreams...Bad Omens...
The Nighmare!
Hello again! It's time for another chapter in this thrilling sequel to Surprise at
Sea. Anzu REALLY has to pay now! She's trying to mess up my fav couple! GRRR!
Ahem... Thanks for all the
hits and reviews, they are greatly appreciated. Time for Chapter 5! It features
the POV of you, the Reader!
Chapter 5: Bad Dreams...OmenOmens... **Reader's POV**
Jou awakens next to Kaiba.
'Seto? Wake up. It's time for you to go to work.' Jou says as he gently shakes
him.
'Who are you?' Kaiba says groggily.
'It's me, Jounouchi. Wake up you big lug.'
'Jounouchi? What the hell are you doing in my bed?!'
'I've been sleeping here for over 2 years now.'
'Get the hell out of my bed you mutt!' Kaiba yells at Jou.
'But Seto...'
'Seto?! Who told you to call me Seto?! To you I am known as Kaiba. You got
that through that thick brainless skull of yours?'
Jou got out of bed...terrified of the words coming from Kaiba's mouth.
'Get the hell out of my house. If I ever see you near here again, you will pay!'
Jou looked at Kaiba helplessly, wandering where this sudden outburst could have
came from. He wondered what happened to him, that could have caused him to
act like this.
'I thought we were together forever. Even after the cruise...' Jou stops, as he
comes close to crying.
'Let me tell you something mutt. I only used you to get pleased. You have
never been nothing more to me that that. You've been my whore Jou.
NOTHING MORE!'
'But...''But'But nothing mutt! Get away from me. Don't ever come near me again! And if
I even see you look at Mokuba, you'll pay dearly.'
Jou walked away from the bed and opened the door. He slammed it with him,
on the opposite side.
--end dream--
Jou sat straight up in bed. Panting hard. He looked down to see Kaiba sleeping
like a baby.
"It was just a dream, that's all...just a dream...Kaiba really loves me...doesn't
he? I know in the past he used to pay men and women to sleep with him...but
he stopped when he started dating me...or did he?"
Jou got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror.
"Maybe it was all the howling from earlier." He said turning on the water
and cupping some into his hand.
He splashed the water on his confused face.
"I'll go back to bed. It was just a dream after all."
Jou went back into the bedroom and looked at Kaiba. He was still sleeping.
"There's no way he could betray me."
Anzu is rather upset that Jou didn't get the message the 1st time.
"Dream Clown!" She yelled.
"Yes, Anzu?"
"Why didn't it work?"
"Some people are harder to manipulate than others. Try again. Jounouchi is
going back to sleep now."
Jou lays back down in bed and quickly falls back into dreamland. He dreams
a different dream.
Jou, Honda, Otogi, Yugi, Yami, Kura, Marik, Ryou, and Malik are eating lunch
together.
'So what did they do Kura?' Malik asks him.
'Toshi and Manika were caught in the cleaning supplies closet. I so happened
to walk by when Sake-kun was opening the door. They were getting it on!' Kura
replies laughing.
Yugi looks up to see Kaiba walking straight towards Jou.
'Jou, there's Kaiba.' Yugi says nudging Jounouchi.
'He's come to give me a big wet one.' Jou replies blushing.
'Likely story mutt!' Kaiba says coldly.
'Woah, what happened between the two of you?' Yasks sks confused at Kaiba's
actions.
'The two of who? Us? As in me and that blonde mutt? What was going
on for you to ask that question anyways?' Kaiba says to Yami.
'When did you to break up?' Ryou asks Jou.
'Good question.' Jou replies.
'Well then, we were never together to begin with! I was just using him to
get the satisfaction I craved. Here's your pay mutt!' Kaiba says throwing a
stack of money at Jou.
'I thought we really had something Seto!' Jou yells at the top of his voice.
Everyone stops eating and turn towards Jou and Kaiba.
'That's what they all say!' Kaiba replies laughing.
--end dream--
For the 2nd time that night, Jou sat straight up in bed, in a cold sweat, once
again, breathing rather hard.
"That's the 2nd dream. Maybe it is trying to tell me something and I need
to listen to it."
Jou looks at the clock.
"5:01am. The alarm will be going off in about 14 minutes. Kaiba says he's going
to work today, but...maybe he's going to be with one of his whores. I wonder
how they feel. Maybe exactly like me." Jou says getting out of bed and walking
out the door.
He goes downstairs to the kitchen and gets a bowl and a spoon from the cupboard.
Jou opens the fridge and gets the milk, and goes to the pantry. He chooses
Cookie Crisp cereal and pours some into his bowl. Then he pours some milk on top.
Jou takes a bite, but then tears well up in his eyes, as he thinks about the dreams,
and Kaiba's past.
About 18 minutes, 30 seconds later, (AN: I just wanted to do that for some weird
reason or another LOL) Kaiba comes into the kitchen. He turns on the light and
sees Jou sitting at the table looking...off...
"Good morning, inu." Kaiba says warmly to Jou.
Jou continues playing in his cereal.
"Why are you up this early in the morning? And sitting in the dark?" You're
usually not up until I leave to go to work."
Jou still...doesn't say anything. He continues looking down, playing in his cereal.
"What's wrong my love?" Kaiba asks, suddenly confused at Jou's actions.
"I figured you out Seto Kaiba." Jou says coldly.
"What's wrong?" Kaiba asks again, concerned at what could have happened
in the past 6 hours.
"Kaiba, why? I thought you loved me." Jou says even colder than before.
"I do love you! You are the light of my life! You've shown me an entire new
perspective to life. I wouldn't trade you for the world!" Kaiba says, now
with tears of happiness in his eyes.
"How many have you actually said that to Kaiba-kun?"
"Why aren't you calling me Seto?"
"Do I actually deserve to call you that? Or is this just some dark plot
of yours to shame me in front of everyone? Tell me Kaiba! I'm tired of
being your mutt! I deserve better than this!" Jou says, standing up and
running out the kitchen.
Kaiba just stood there in awe...taken completely off guard at what Jou,
his lover had just said.
"What happened?" Kaiba asked himself as tears of sadness fell from his
eyes. "What went wrong?"
Kaiba could hear the door open and close, as he knew that Jou was leaving...
He fell to the floor and fought to hold back the tears that were anxious to
fall. But it was no use, they fell anyways.
Meanwhile, Jou was running...
"Kaiba...I thought we were meant to be! Whatever is done in darkness will
come to the light! I just hate that I came to me in a dream instead of you
telling me!"
Jou reached his destination, the beach. He sat on the edge of the dock and
cried into the ocean before him.

Woah...I have tears in my eyes! Poor Jou and Kaiba! Be patient readers, Anzu
