A walk wasn't a bad Idea... He needed to get away.

It was a nice walk until Yuugi saw Yami's old girlfriend

starring at him. He was unsure how she felt about him

'the one who took Yami's heart and held on to it'.

"You there, aren't you Yami's girl?" She asked.

"Exuse me but I'm not a girl." Yuugi stutterly protested.

"Forgive me, I'm Mai, and it doesn't matter what you

think anymore, if you date Yami then your his girl." She

was teasing him.

"Do you know about the accident?" Yuugi asked.

"Everyone does, they said you made him drive off the road."

Mai said ignorantly.

"That's not what happened." Yuugi said.

" Yeah yeah I hear what I need at girls make-up mirror." Mai said.

"How is the ol' dog anyway?" Mai asked.

"HE's in bad shape and I think your rude for talking about him like that."

Yuugi got defensive.

"Eas up girly boy I'm just telling you what the rest of the school says."

"You sound familiar Mai, didn't you go out with Jounichi?" Yuugi asked.

"SO what his sister was so much cuter and alot more fun to talk too."

"YOu really hurt Jounichi's feelings." Yuugi said.

"He's a Dark Angel girly girl, they don't have any feelings."

"Your just as warped as everyone else in that school." Yuugi felt real insulted

by this little meeting so left.

"That's right girly go home to your mama!" Mai teased but Yuugi ignored her

and went back to Yami's house. He was worried about leaving him alone for

so long.

When he got back Yami was asleep. Yuugi lifted Yami's hospital gown to wash

him up with the face cloth. It was cold so yuugi went into the bathroom to warm

it with warm water. He came back to Yami's room and he was still sleeping. Yuugi

careful and gently dragged the cloth up and down his body, Yami mouth parted a

bit to breath more comfortably. Yuugi watched his face for a few minutes while he

washed his soft underbelly. His eyes were closed, his face a bit pale but so relaxed.

"You never look this calm." Yuugi thought to himself. Yami was slowly walking up

but just drifted back into sleep while Yuugi continued to wash lower from his armpits,

down his ribs, his waste, belly, and when he got the cloth down to his groin Yuugi just

the clinic, I need theropy for the use of my arms and legs."

"I'll be right back." Yuugi looked at him again. "You feel boney by the way, I'm gonna

make you some dinner and you better eat it." He didn't have an answere for that. Just

smiled at him. Yami waited a while for Yuugi to come back, He was enjoying Yuugi's

company. It was lonely while he was gone those long two hours.

"What'cha got there?" Yami asked. Yuugi held the bowl up to Yami's nose so he could

smell it.

"It's chicken soup, with actual chicken. I didn't know you had food in your fridge." Yuugi joked.

"Aki sobered up and got some stuff from the market. He does that once in a while."

"Don't tell me you eat once every couple of weeks." Yuugi asked.

"NOt that often." Yami said.

"Your making me crazy!" Yuugi laughed. "Here you go eat it." Yuugi spoon fed him like a baby.

"Hehe, your so cute I feel like I'm feeding a baby."

"You just wait til I can move I'm gonna tickle you to death." Yami said after swallowing a spoonful.

"Yeah yeah tough guy in the mean time your mine." Yuugi fed him more smiling at him with

a glow.

"Don't get used to this, your suposed to be my baby."

"I saw your old girl friend today."

"So what, she doesn't want to see me then I don't want to see her."

"She's the one who broke Jou's heart right?"

"Yes."

"She's a bitch."

"Language Yuugi." Yami laughed.

"Sorry it slipped."

"YOur not in trouble." Yami laughed when Yuugi looked guilty.

"Finish your soup." Yuugi smiled and fed him more. "I want you to finish the whole bowl ok."

"AAAH" Yami opened his mouth wide in a joking way.

"Very funny." Yuugi put the spoon in his mouth.

"Aren't you gonna eat anything?" Yami asked.

"I'll eat when your done." Yuugi continued to feed him. "I like this." Yuugi said.

"What me incapacatated and You feeding me like a baby?" Yami asked.

"No, I mean us spending time together, with no one else around to bother us, or

distract you from me."

"Distract me? Honey I can't take my eyes off of you." Yami said.

"Sometimes when your friends are around, I feel ignored and hurt about the way they talk to me."

"Oh honey why didn't you tell me you felt that way?"

"I didn't want you blame me for not seeing your freinds as often as...."

"I'm still tired take a nap with me."

"Ok."
