Chapter 43: Author's Chapter (Final One!)

Welcome one and all to the Author's Chapter of the Extended Version. I would like to thank you all
for reading and reviewing this fic. It's well appreciated!

There's so much to talk about here.

Let's start at the beginning.

As I said previously, this is the original way I wanted to do Nazo no Kisu, but all my inspiration and
motivation for this fic sort of died at 29 and that why they died. But, while I was watching the episode
where Yugi and Yami/Pharaoh (Dub version) dueled each other and how they acted towards each
other at the end, gave me the perfect boost for the continuation of this fic.

For Atemu and Seth's grandparents names, I just like the idea of Mana and Mahado together as a
married couple, so I just let them be the names for their grandparents.

Since I haven't seen Karim and Shada (Two priests from Pharaoh's Memory) in too many fics, I
decided to bring them in as brothers and Karim as Atemu's first lover.

Favorites:
1 Yugi and Atemu finally getting back together and that sweet yaoi scene in Chapter 37 (Woohoo! Yaoi!)
2 Yugi finding about Atemu and Jounouchi in Chapter 38 (O_O)
3 The entire Extended Version (I'm glad it went like I wanted it to!!)
4 Atemu breaking up with Karim (Flashback) (Amazing, isn't it)
5 Atemu and Karim in Chapter 42

When I was finding the locaton in Egypt for Atemu's other home, I liked Alexandria. But little did I know
that Alexandrite was the stone for June until I looked it up. Also, with the Alexandrian Rose, I also didn't
know that the Rose was the flower of June until I looked! Wow, ironic how that worked out!

Atemu's last name for the fic 'Ikhras' is a real Egyptian word. It means something to the effect of skuttle,
scatter, or something like that. I remember reading it in another fic, "Three Yamis and a Hikari" and it
was the only word that came to my mind when I was thinking of a last name for Atemu and his family.

As for the ending, in Chapter 42. I was going to let them die at the hands of Karim, but since I have a
bounty on my head for Chapter 29....LOL. Ok, really they were going to die once again when Karim
shot the two of them, then himself. Then as I got into the LONG chapter, I thought about not letting
them die. I thought about Yugi and/or Atemu getting kidnapped (Wait, that can be another fic!!), but
then the idea of 'Ancient Egypt' popped into my head. The spirit of Pharaoh Atemu came out in Atemu
when he got mad at Karim. As for Karim, he's presently residing in the shadows. O_~

Ok there are a million and one ways to end a fic, but I loved the way I did it! And I hope you did too.

I'm glad that each of you enjoyed reading the Extended Version!! Thanks for reviewing! I just can't
say it enough!!

My 2nd POV fics are still in the major editing stages. There's so much to do. To make sure the events
of the fic flow, yet without forgetting important details.

I have some ideas for Malik/Marik and Ryou/Kura (Akefia) fics, but none are going the way I want them
to. So if anyone has any ideas, they're more than welcome to send them to my e-mail!!
