Readers! Hello everyone! Welcome all once again to the finale of Nazo no Kisu! Except, this time,
this is the Extended Version Finale!! I truly hope that each and everyone of you enjoyed this! I
enjoyed writing it! Now, as we left of in Chapter 41, Yugi and Atemu had gotten back together and
Atemu even proposed!! YAY!! So, what could possibly happen now? POV's are from multiple
people!! Enjoy!

Chapter 42: Jealousy *Finale*

"I do!" were the only words I could say before being taken into my love's arms. Feeling his lips
pressed lovingly, passionately, lustfully against mine, taking me to my happy place. A place I never
desire to leave again.

By the time we broke the kiss, the two of our faces were soaked in each other's tears of joy.

As I look into his eyes, he smiles at me. I believe that's the only emotion that we could both feel at
the time. There's nothing that could ever be done, or said, to break us up once again.

"Aishiteru'yo, Aibou."

"Aishiteru'yo, Atemu."

He takes a deep breath.

"Are you ready?" he asks wiping stray tears from his eyes and face.

"Hai!" I say opening the door....

What the...

"Yugi, Atemu! Uh...umm...."

"Save it okaa-san, otou-san!" I say as Atemu and I walk past them hand-in-hand.

"Matte." yells okaa-san.

We turn around to face the two.

"Are you two..."

"Hai, otou-san." I answer before pulling Atemu into a kiss.

I could feel his shock at first before quickly losing himself, just as I have.

We quickly break the kiss before it leads on to more...interesting...things. As I look at my parents,
they have a look on their face...one I can not describe.

What else did you expect? It was their FIRST time ever seeing us kiss. Ever. Believe it or not.

"So, when is the date?"

We give her a blank stare...how could she have known?

"We'll take a rain check on that one." answers Atemu.

She laughs.

"Just be patient and whenever you want it is fine with us." advises dad. "Whatever we can do to
help, just let us know."

I nod before Atemu leads me downstairs. I think I'm floating... I can't tell the difference right now.

"Ahh, I see the two of you have made up." I hear jii-chan say.

"He even proposed to me!" I say, still somewhere between my happy place and reality.

"Ohh! really?! Congratulations!"

"Thanks." replies Atemu as we leave the house still hand-in-hand.

"Where are we going?" I ask as we walk out the side door.

"My house."

We walk towards Domino Pier, seeing many familiar faces along the way.

"Hello Yugi, Atemu." greets Honda. "What brings the two of your out...together?"

"Hey Otogi, Honda" Atemu and I say at the exact same time.

"I'm so happy the two of you are back together. It's like the two of you have a newly found spark
of life inside." comments Honda.

"Thanks." replies Atemu. "I am happy also."

I hold my hand and Atemu's hand up, purposely showing off our matching rings.

The gasp, now knowing what to think or say next.

"Wait...are the two of you engaged now?" asks Honda.

I nod stupidly, yet confidently and proudly, knowing that I wouldn't deny anything dealing with my
love and I.

"Well, congratulations to you two. We would love to stay and chat a bit longer, but we are on our
way to teach a DDM class." says Otogi.

"Bye Bye."

We walk on further past Shiori's Fruit Stand.

"Yugi? Atemu?

We turn around to see Akefia, Ryou, and Malik.

Akefia says something to Atemu in Arabic, leaving Atemu as red as a rose. I wonder what he said.

Malik has a shocked look on his face for some reason. Ahh, I almost forgot that Malik is from
Valley of the Kings, Egypt and understood what was said by Akefia.

I'll have to ask him about it later.

The five of us talk for a while before heading on, finally reaching Atemu's. He opens the door and we
go upstairs to his parent's bedroom.

'knock knock'

"Come in." replies Isis.

We go in and stand before Isis and Akunumkanon, who's laying in the bed.

"What is it?" asks Isis.

"Is there something wrong?" asks Akunumkanon.

"Iya, mother, father."

"Wait, Atemu, did you?!" Isis asks excitiedly.

"Yes mother, I proposed to him!"

"Congratulations!"

(Outside Atemu's Home: Karim's POV)
I can't believe it. They're engaged now. Atemu is supposed to propose to me! I can't believe he left
me for that!!

He's going to pay!

"Karim?"

I turn around to see my brother Shada.

"What are you doing here hiding in the bushes Karim? Are you stalking Atemu? He's back with you
now, so why are you hiding out?"

If it was only that simple brother.

"He's back with Yugi."

"What?! Are you serious?! After all this time he spent with you...even bringing you here, to Japan...he
decided to go back to that runt!!"

"What is it Shada? What is it about me that makes Atemu rebel? What does Yugi have that I don't?"

"Pity."

I stare daggers into my brother.

"No, no I don't mean it like that! I meant that Atemu is only showing pity to Yugi. You know that he'll
come back to you, just as he did before."

"That, I do know."

"Come on Karim. Let's go."

I follow Shada away from Atemu and his pity lover.

(Kaiba Manor: Jounouchi's POV)
"What are we doing today, Jou?"

"I don't know! You should find us something to do. I'm a guest here and you're the host. The host
should always have something for the guest to do."

"If you don't talke that guest-host speech and shove it somewhere, then I'll do it for you!"

I playfully stick my tongue out at him.

"You come over so much that dad is starting to claim you as his 3rd son."

'knock knock'

"Are you expecting any guests today?" I ask.

"No, are you?"

"This isn't my house and I don't live here."

"You stay over here so much, it can be!"

Kaiba sighs and opens the door. I peek around him to see...

"Atemu! Yugi!" Kaiba exclaims as the two walk in past us and sit on the bed very closely to each
other.

Have they made up?

"I know you're wandering why we're here." begins Yugi. "Atemu has a reason, and we both have
a reason."

A moment of eerie silence passes before Yugi nudges Atemu.

He sighs then looks at both me and Kaiba.

"Over the past 3 years or so, I've been suffering. Significantly suffering. The two of you are
responsible for that. Thanks a lot."

Is this it?! He came over to rant on us?!

"But over the past few months or so, I've been thinking. A lot of thinking as a matter of fact. Then
it dawned on me. No matter how much I've suffered physically and mentally, the two of you will
suffer 100 times worse than I ever will."

Isn't that the truth!!

"I have forgiven you two."

Wait? Did I hear that right?? Atemu has forgiven us?! I can't believe it!!

"Atemu....thanks!" exclaims Kaiba.

"Arigatou gozaimasu!" I say to him.

"Now, for our thing." begins Yugi.

"What is it?" I ask.

The looked at each other, then at the same time, they hold their hands out, showing identical
rings.

Wait a minute...

"Are you two engaged?!" Kaiba and I yell at the same time.

(Yugi's POV)
We both nod and look into each other's eyes. His lustful gaze seems to hypnotize me and drag me
to his lips as the next thing I could feel is myself ascending into my happy place.

"Woah, woah, woah! Wait you two!" Kaiba yells as he somehow seperates us.

"I know how much you two love each other, but I care not to actually see!"

"Gomen, Kaiba." I say as I sit up.

When did I lay down? Why are my pants unzipped?

Damn, Atemu. You work fast.

'We'll continue this later Aibou.'
'I can't wait.'
'Well, let's go now.'
'I'm right behind you.'

"Well, we're going to leave now." Atemu says.

"We just wanted to come by and share the good news." I say.

"Thanks." says Jou. "Congratulations."

"Arigatou." replies Atemu.

We get up to leave.

"Wait!" Kaiba says stopping us. "I want to give you this."

He hands me a video tape.

"What's on this?" I ask.

"I want you to get rid of it. I can't."

"Seto...is it?!" exclaims Jou. "No! we must not give it to them!"

"What the hell have I told you about calling me by my first name Ka...tsu...ya?!"

"What is it?" asks Atemu.

"Ah. Hahaha." Jou laughs nervously then takes the tape back from me. "I'll dispose of this. Now you
two love birds go on ahead before your fire burns out, ok."

He pushes us casually out the door.

Now what was that all about?

"I wonder what was on that tape Atemu..."

"Something Jounouchi really didn't want us to see."

We walk out the gates of Kaiba Manor in silence, wandering about the contents of the video tape.

"Ahh, let's not worry about that!" I say wrapping my arm around Atemu. "Let's go and celebrate."

"Yugi, DUCK!"

(Karim's POV: About 15 minutes earlier)
"Karim! Calm down! You really don't want to do this!"

I don't care. I really want to do this. I need to do this.

"Shut up Shada! If you're not supporting me..."

"Woah, wait! Point that somewhere else! Not at yourself! Stop it Karim!"

"Didn't I tell you that I am willing to die for him? Even after five years..."

"Can't you just accept the fact that Atemu is no longer in love with you?! Atemu proposed to Yugi,
not to you! This love is not pity love, it's pure love! The same love you destroyed five years ago!"

So much for support from my brother. Guess I have to do this alone.

"If you're not with me Shada, then you're against me." I say before leaving him and going back to
Kaiba Manor.

Look at those two...those damn look-a-likes... Yugi...

"DIE!"

(Yugi's POV)
"Yugi, DUCK!" yells Atemu as he pulls me down.

"What's wrong Atemu?!"

"Look at that tree!"

I look at the tree to see a small hole in the bark that has a cloud of smoke around it.

"That could have been your head Aibou."

"Who's shooting at us?!" I yell.

"Not at us, Aibou. He's shooting at you!"

"Me?!"

"Yea, come on!" he yells grabbing my hand and almost dragging me to a wooded area around
Kaiba Manor.

"It should be hard for him to see us here."

"Who is him?"

"Karim."

Karim... I can't believe he's still here! Why is he going for my head?!

"Jealousy, Aibou. Jealous that you and I have something that we never did. True enough he was
my first love and lover, but our relationship was no where as near as great as ours."

Footsteps...

"Yugi! Atemu! Where are you?!" a voice echos through the distance.

"Stay low Aibou. He really wants you."

"Why me?!"

"He wants to kill you, thinking that if you're out the picture, it should make me go back to him. But
before that happens, he must kill me first. I'll protect you with my life Aibou."

"Atemu..."

He moves out from our hiding place.

"Atemu, no! He may kill you too!" I yell loud enough for only him to hear.

(Reader's POV)
"Atemu, my love. Where is Yugi?"

"Somewhere where you can never get to him."

"Hah, and where is that?"

"In my heart."

"Stop fooling yourself Atemu. You know you want a reason to be with me."

"No Karim. You stop fooling yourself. I guess you still can't take that we're not together anymore.
Well face it. It's been five years! Grow up and move on with your life!"

Karim stands silent for a minute, staring at Atemu.

"If I can't have you, then no one else will!" he yells before removing his right hand from his pocket
and aiming the gun directly at Atemu's heart.

"Don't do it Karim." yells Atemu.

"You're afraid because I am a skilled shooter. You know that with one pull of this trigger, you will
be dead. Are your trying to spare your life?!"

"I don't want you to do something you will regret while locked behind bars or on death row."

Karim laughs. "Jail? Death? Am I supposed to be afraid of those? I'm already gay, so having a male
fuck me every night won't hurt my ego and eventually everyone has to die."

"I'm warning you Karim."

"Die Atemu!" yells Karim as he pulls the trigger.

Just as the gunshot is heard, Yugi jumps from his hiding place. Atemu closes his eyes and holds
Yugi back. Just before the bullet reaches Atemu, it stops in mid-air.

Karim and Yugi gasp as the watch the bullet suspended in animation. Floating in mid-air.

"Karim, I warned you. But now you pay!" yells Atemu as he looks up and opens his eyes.

His eyes emit a reddish tone as his forhead glows.

The bullet suddenly explodes before Atemu and a freightened Yugi, not harming either of the
two.

"When you mess with my love, you are interfering with the love of Ra!" Atemu says before
his attire changes.

He chants something in an ancient dialect as he looks at Karim literally disappear from
reality.

(Yugi's POV)
"Atemu?! Atemu! Wake up!"

I don't know what happened back there to him! One minute he's pleading for Karim to not
shoot. The next Karim's disappearing from existence!! Who was that man back there? It
surely wasn't Atemu.

Since that happened, he fainted. I somehow managed to carry him back into Kaiba Manor
where their personal doctor has looked over him.

"Ugh... Where am I?" says a groggly Atemu as he sits up.

"Atemu!" I yell then embrace him.

"Aibou...what happened? Where am I?"

Does he not remember??

"Where's Karim?"

What happened to you back there? It was as if you became another person.

"I don't care what happened to you." I say. "I love you Atemu."

"I love you too, Aibou."

The door openes and Jou and Kaiba walk in.

"Atemu, I'm glad you're ok." says Jou.

"What happened?" asks Kaiba.

"I can't remember. The last thing that's in my memory is when Karim shot at me.

I take the perfect opportunity to tell everyone what I heard and saw. No one can really
believe their ears. I can't believe it and I saw it!

"I don't remember what happened, nor do I care. As long as you're ok, then everything
is great."

Atemu smiles warmly, lutfully at me.

"Aishiteru'yo, Atemu."

"Aishiteru'yo, Aibou."

(Reader's POV)
Yugi and Atemu embrace each other and kiss.

Kaiba moves to stop them once again, but this time Jou holds him back.

"Let them be Kaiba. Come on." whispers Jou.

Kaiba looks at Jou and nods.

They ease out the room leaving the two lip-locked and happy to be with each other,
forever!
