Rumors in the school hallways
They lay awake after a short nap. With out words
Yuugi got up to get dressed. He was bending down
to pick up his underwear when he felt Yami's hand
place gently on his back.
"Yuugi..." Yami said lowly. Yuugi turned to face him
an forgot the fact they were nude. Yami couldn't say
another word, all he could do was hold his lover in
his arms...and try to hold on forever.
"What are you gonna do? Run or stay?"Yuugi asked
while resting his head on Yami's bare shoulder tickling
his skin with his hair. Yami wimpered for the first time
in front of Yuugi and pressed his face against Yuugi's
soft hair. "What ever you decide I'll stand by you...
I should have from the begining. Yami rubbed his eyes
while Yuugi was looking up at him feeling his heart breaking
along with Yami's.
"O, ok...let's get ready to go back to the city." Yami cleared
his raspy throught. "Come take a shower with me." Yami said
while picking up the clothes from the floor and carrying them into
the bathroom. Yuugi looked at the clock wich read 4:38 am.
They took a short hot shower. Mostly watching eachother wash themselves.
Yami was scrubbing his skin so hard some of it was coming off.
"Easy..." Yuugi took the face cloth and gently scrubbed Yami's back.
Yami noticed that Yuugi did the same thing when he was washing his own
skin.
"Stop it." Yami took the cloth and washed Yuugi down from his neck to his
feet and all in between. They got dressed quickly after their shower but Yami
was hesitant to start the car.
"I'll stick up for you ok..."Yuugi placed a kind hand on Yami's shoulder. "It won't
be that bad."
"I'm looking at hard time." He sighed. "All this shit I put up with was for you...just
don't forget that....I'll take you home now ok..."It was a quiet ride all the way to Yuugi's house.
Once the car came to a hault Yuugi gave Yami a long embrace goodbye with deep intimate kiss.
Once lips parted they said goodbye last time. Jichan watched from the house feeling like he
made a mistake when he called the cops. Well he just wanted to protect his grandson.
He could tell just by looking at them they were heavily involved.
"good by Yami...I love you.."
"I love you too Yuugi..Good bye.." Yami drove slowy away at first then sped off when he got to
the street. He could hear him speeding from blocks away.
"Yuugi.."Jichan called from the door way of the house. Yuugi slowly walked over to Jichan for
comfort. "You ok my boy?" Jichan asked as Yuugi reached up to him to hug him for some comfort.
"He's turning himself in."
"What?"
"But Jichan it's not his fault, I was doing drugs and drinking too." Yuugi wasn't afraid of being grounded
or getting yelled at. Nothing is more painful than losing someone you love.
The next day at school Yuugi kept getting looked at funny as if he was the laughing stalk of Domino High.
"Yuge. COme here I gotta talk to you." Jou came out from around the corner and lead him into the boys room.
"What is it? Why is everyone looking at me weird? " Yuugi asked.
"Did you hear." Jou looked upset. "Yami was in an accident last night."
