("What am I doing here? Why do they say, the famous Police, that I held down by husband and with an axe cut off his head? It isn't true! My hands are white. I don't know why they have told Uncle Sam that I did this. I tried to explain to them but they will not understand... .."
"yeah but did you do it?"
"Uh-uh not guilty")

Our realtionship was rocky from the start, I found him beat and battered behind the bar i worked at, at first i ignored him, i assumed he was just another bum who got into a brawl but he endeed up showing up for about a week i eventually decided to help him, the moment i saw his face i recognised it, Marik the trouble maker from my old high school, i should've recognised him sooner from his signature leather jacket, he hadn't changed a bit.
i asked him what happened, he got up wiped the blood from his nose, and ran off without an answer.

so i ignored it, the next night i worked a little late and took the front door to avoid runiing into him, when i was leaving some guys walked up beside me, they were regulars at the bar, the kind of guys who get tipsy and flirt with the staff.

i picked up speed cause i really just wanted to get to bed, but one of them grabbed my shoulder and the other, my mouth as they dragged me into an alley.

The first on grabbed a knife and began to cut through my clothes as the second tied up my hands and feet, i was frozen in shock.

Then he appeared, he ran down the alleyway and began to fight, it was over quickly as he knocked out with a few punches, i wasn't sure what was going on, and fainted.

i awoke in a room i'd never seen before, i tried to get up but was being held by my waist i turned to see, and there was Marik, i panicked and we fell out of bed.

It turned out he was trying to protect me from those guys, after we had breakfast and got to know each other a little better, we went to my house.

my sister was less than pleased to see him

things were great after that, Marik would walk me home then get chased off by Ishizu, eventually we started going out, and moved in together

I had always wanted to go into childcare, so it was an obvious choice to apply to Domino City University one of the best in the world, when i was accepted, I worked it out Marik, he had been working on an apprentiship and he wanted to finish.

we came to a compromise i would come back each holiday.

so on the day i had to leave i was about to go out on the plane when he called my name, i turned and there he was on one knee with a large ring, i accepted without delay.

It was a six hour flight and the whole time i couldn't take my eyes off the ring.

when i landed i was taken into custody, my english was poor, i couldn't understand what they were saying. It wasn't for nearly a month, before i heard what had happened, they say that I killed him

all that i can ever think about is the beutiful smile

now all i have to remember him by is this ring, i only wish i could've said goodbye
