Chapter 4
Four years later
It was 6am in the morning and Kaiba was waking up and felt a body next to him. He looked over and saw Joey sleeping their so peacefully. For four years Kaiba and Joey’s relationship had become very strong. Over the years a lot had happened, when Joey and Kaiba graduated from school two years ago they had decided to tell everyone about their relationship.
As Yugi and Tea already knew they had nothing against it and would support them. Bakura was happy for them because he was in a male relationship as well. Duke never had anything against homosexuals so he was glad that they where together especially since he wont have to put up with their fighting anymore. The only person who did have a problem with it though was Tristan it wasn’t hard for him to accept Bakura and his boyfriend.
Though finding out that Joey was in the same boat really tore him apart on the inside. Tristan wasn’t really one of those who accepted male and male relationships. After that Tristan didn’t want anything else to do with Joey.
A month later Tristan had left to Tokyo University to study medication since he had always wanted to become a doctor. Soon after that Tea had got a form saying she had been accepted into a dancing university in New York. Yugi was helping his grandfather in the game shop and Bakura and his boyfriend had gone to Egypt.
About a year later Kaiba had heard that the laboratory that Marko worked in had burned down from an accident. Everything was destroyed the experiment the documents they where nothing more than ash. Marko was so depressed about losing everything he had worked so hard for that he ended up committing suicide. All the scientists including Ken had left the country now that the P.R.O.M. assignment was no more. Kaiba had still kept the letter he had received from Ken the day before he had left. Though Kaiba had spent millions he was glad that P.R.O.M. was destroyed, Kaiba never told Joey about it for that was all in the past now.
After all that Kaiba soon asked Joey to move in with him which the blonde decided he would. Joey’s father was rather surprised when he found out his son was dating another guy and then wanted to move in with him. Joey’s father allowed it because it was his sons life and he wanted Joey to be happy.
So Joey soon moved in and was so amazed on how big the house actually was. He had been their before but they where only brief visits. Now that he was going to be living in the huge house it seemed a lot bigger. It took Joey some time to get adjusted to living in a different sort environment that was much different from the one he used to be in. Though as long as he was with the one he cared about that was all that mattered to him.

Kaiba got up quietly not wanting to wake his lover up and then headed to the bathroom. He had to go into the office even though it was a Sunday. Since he started dating Joey he had told his secretary that he would be having every Sunday of. Unfortunately this time he had no choice to come in since a very important business associate was wanting a meeting with him. Kaiba decided to leave Joey a note of apology since his young lover had made plans for them.
Joey always looked forward to Sunday’s since that was mostly the only day Kaiba had of. Kaiba kept his word for having Sunday of but he just couldn’t do it this time. When he was all dressed he took one last glance at his boyfriend and left.
It was eight thirty when Joey started to wake up only about two hours after Kaiba had left. Joey suddenly noticed that Kaiba wasn’t in bed with him. “That’s strange” he said to himself he then saw a note on his bed side table with his name on it.
Dear Joey,
I am sorry to say that I wont be able to spend today with you since a very important business meeting has come up. I know I promised to keep this day vacant for us to have some quality time together. However a very important business man I have worked with over the years has requested a meeting with me. I hope you will understand I am not sure when I will be home but hopefully before seven. I am sure you will be quite mad at me since you are a bit of a hot head. Well I will see you soon and before I forget help Mokuba pack some things because he has a sleepover tonight.
From Kaiba
“Hot head why that jerk well he’s done it this time” Joey said to himself why picking up the phone.

In the board room over at Kaiba Corp, Kaiba was in the middle of a meeting with Mr Mizaki who had asked him to come in today and making him skip a day with his puppy. “Now Mr Kaiba about your new dual disk when will that be brought out to the public” the man asked. “Unfortunately the disk has not been completed yet there are still some main difficulties” Kaiba replied.
“I see and what difficulties may that be” Mr Mizaki asked “that is classified information Mr Mizaki however I can be quite frank that the new dual disks will be finished by the end of the year” Kaiba replied. “I see then” but before he could go on any further Kaiba’s mobile started ringing. “I am sorry but I must get this” Kaiba told Mizaki “of course by all means” he replied.
Kaiba opened his flip phone and pressed the talk button “Hello”, “YOU BIG TWO TIMING BASTARD” it was Joey. Kaiba had to pull the phone away from his ear because his lover was yelling. Mizaki and the other board members could hear Joey on the other end “YOU THINK YOU CAN DITCH ME FOR SOME MEETING WELL YOU ARE DEFFIENTLY GOING TO REGRET THAT” Joey yelled. “Mutt calm down and stop yelling” Kaiba told him, he had a slight feeling Joey would react like this.
“CALM DOWN, CALM DOWN HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN MY BOYFRIEND LEAVES NOTHING BUT A NOTE TELLING ME WE HAVE TO CANCEL OUR PLANS BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO MEET UP WITH SOME OLD FARTS” he kept yelling. Through that whole conversation Kaiba couldn’t put his phone to his ear. Mizaki felt rather sorry for Kaiba at that moment. He knew that Kaiba had a boyfriend by the name of Joey Wheeler and could now tell that his associates lover had one hell of a temper.
“I know your mad Joey and I am really sorry how about when I get home I make it up to you how about that” Kaiba told him. Joey went silent for a moment “well it better be good otherwise I’m going to kick your ass to kingdom Kong” and Joey hanged up. Kaiba sighed ‘man I’ve got to do something about his temper’ Kaiba thought to himself. When he suddenly remembered he was in a meeting “where were we” Kaiba sat down.
The meeting went on for quite a while until they had finished what they where discussing and Mizaki had left along with all the other members. After that was taken cared of Kaiba thought he might finish of some work he didn’t get to do the day before. Besides he didn’t really want to face an angry Joey yet. Since they became a couple he started to realize Joey’s true colors and one was that he could get really angry.
Before they where even together Joey was always angry and mad at him but this was much different. It was almost scary but Kaiba was tough and could always deal with it either way really. They always had arguments but that was just a sign on how much they cared about each other.
Their was just one thing their relationship was lacking and that was having sex. They had been a couple for at least four years now and still hadn’t done it yet. Kaiba had seen Joey naked and that would always turn him on. However he would wait until Joey was ready to take the next step in their relationship.
After he had finished all of his work it was about six o’clock and Kaiba decided to go home.

Joey was sitting on the lounge watching some TV, Mokuba had been picked up by his school friends mum about an hour ago. So it seemed that him and Kaiba would have the huge mansion to them self’s for the night. Every weekend the servants where aloud to go home but would be back on Monday. Joey was thinking about how Kaiba was going to make it up to him and was a little nervous about it.
He knew that Kaiba had wanted to take the next step and be able to have sex. He wanted to do it as well but because it was his first time he was a little bit scared. Joey knew that Kaiba wouldn’t hurt him. It just seemed like he was being a coward, he really wanted to do it with Kaiba and man it pained him how he was just holding back. They had been going out for four years and surly that would be enough time to finally have sex.
He then heard the front door close which brought him back out of his thoughts. Joey stood up and walked out of the lounge room and saw his tall lover putting his jacket up on the hook. Kaiba turned around and saw Joey staring at him. “Sorry I’m late” Kaiba said walking towards him when suddenly Joey lunged at him and held Kaiba in a tight embrace. “Joey are you alright” Kaiba asked surprised that his puppy was acting like this after how Joey was so mad at him.
“I’m sorry Kaiba I’m so sorry” Joey started to cry on Kaiba’s good shirt “puppy why are you crying” he lifted Joey‘s face up with his hand. Kaiba dried away the tears “Joey and tears don’t go together” Kaiba told him. He bent down and kissed Joey why wrapping his arms around his blondes waist. The kiss deepened between the two and Kaiba suddenly picked Joey up in bridal style and headed to their room.
