Chapter 3 *crap*
Chapter 3
Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh, if I did you had beter believe Seto andYami would be a BIG item.*Warning: It sucks and there is no lemon. Read and your own risk.*Seth was not sure what the time was when he woke, the lack of sight made that
difficult. He could however sense another presence in the room. Because of that
tight feeling in his stomach, Seth knew immediately who it was. He pretended
to be asleep, hoping his unwanted visitor just left him be. It was futile of
course, if one thing was certain, Gozaboro never just left Seth be.“I know you are awake, you sniveling worm,” the cruel voice that
filled many of Seth’s nightmares now filed the room.
“What is it you want?” Seth made a habit of not backing down the
Gozaboro, though at times it would have been wiser to do so.
“You failed,” Gozaboro crept like a snake right up to where Seth
lay, suddenly very vulnerable, and very afraid. “And rather than dying
like a good little servant should. You ran to the Pharaoh and begged him for
mercy. You became his little bitch!”It took everything Seth still had in him not to cry out from the blow Gozaboro
placed on his stomach. His body felt so weak, Seth did not know if he could
take his step father’s customary abuse. “I did not beg him! He forced
me!”“Boo, hoo, hoo. So now you can’t fight off a runt like our Esteemed
Pharaoh. I should have killed you when you were a little brat, Seth. You’re
mother was such a little whore. You take after perfectly. You take orders from
anyone with a bigger dick than you don’t you Seth? In any case was that
sniveling Pharaoh returns you your powers, you will finish what we started,
won’t you?”Seth did not reply. There was not reply to be made. If Seth wanted to protect
Mokuba from their step-father, he had to do as he was told. ‘Mother, better
you be a whore, and Mokuba be a bastard with no name than stick us with this
monster as a ‘father.’’
Unwanted tears fell from Seth blinded eyes once he was certain his step father
was no longer around in the room. Despite the fact that he was dead, the man
still exerted control over Seth’s life. Gozaboro had made a back with
someone to keep his spirit into this world and to have power in it, power that
allowed him to still beat Seth. If only Seth could fight out whom it was. Find
out who was directing the ghost to direct him. It was also unfortunate that
his father demanded total subservience to himself as well. He was rarely completely
out right about it though, Akunadin preferred the subtle approach more.Much to his chagrin another presence soon appeared, and before he could quell
the tears. Soft hands stroked away the tears and that deep voice spoke soothingly:
“Seth. Seth, why are you crying? Shh, everything is alright.”Further proving his weakness, Seth broke down. He sobbed without words and
Atemu took him into his arms and tried to comfort the priest. Atemu had no idea
what had come over Seth but everyone of his instincts told him it did not bold
well. Eventually the priest stopped sobbing and game to rest with his head on
Atemu’s lab. The Pharaoh could not help but smile softly. He stroked the
taller but currently weaker man’s hair and continued to reassure him.
Only when Seth slept some minutes later did Atemu ask the question that slipped
across his mind: “What in the Abyss is going?” Something told Atemu that there was something serious going on at the current
moment and that he needed to find out what it was. It only made sense to ask
Mokuba, surely the priest’s brother would know. Atemu searched for the
boy high and low and finally found him in the central courtyard. Mokuba was
playing in a fountain, so free now that he knew Seth would be fine.“Mokuba!”
“Pharaoh!” Mokuba immediately went to his knees, despite the fact
that he was still n the fountain.
“That’s not necessary, Mokuba. There is something troubling Seth,
some… Else.” Pharaoh was certain that in this case it was he who
was troubling the priest.
“Sire, I,” Mokuba frowned, uncertain whether or not to continue,
but hopeful that the Pharaoh could help. “Sometimes, after he wakes up
in the morning, Seth seems… Upset, like he’d had a bad dream. But
he never talks about it. He had one before he send his Blue-Eyes White Dragon
after you.”
“Really…” Pharaoh frowned with consideration at this remark.
“What could possibly give High Priest Seth bad dreams?”
“Well,” Mokuba hesitated, was it right to reveal such a dark piece
of Seth’s life to the Pharaoh?
“Mokuba, if you tell me what you think haunts Seth, I swear in Ra’s
name to help him be free of it.”
“Okay,” Mokuba looked down and his feet and spoke softly but sincerely
for his brother. “When Seth was born our mother chose to leave Akunadin.
He was too unfeeling to her. Seth says she told him that he had only taken her
so that she would give him a son. When while mother lived in Pr-Bastet, she
slept with a man, Seth doesn’t know who he was. She became pregnant with
me. In order to avoid me being born a bastard, she married a man named Gozaboro,
Mother died when I was really little, and Seth and I were raised by Gozaboro
until Seth killed him to protect me. Akunadin found Seth a little while later
and brought him here. Seth snuck me along shortly after but kept me as a servant
so Akunadin would not find out. I think Gozaboro haunts him, as he said he would.
But also, I think Akunadin helps. I don’t like him.”Atemu stood silently in front of Mokuba and tried to digest the information.
He had not known that Akunadin had not raised the High Priest, this was perplexing.
So many people seemed to have secrets from him. And it was becoming clear how
much Seth had suffered. It was no wonder that the man was normally so called
and withdrawn. His arrogance was a clever mask. Only in breaking Seth down,
had Atemu seen through it. Still, Atemu regretted, at least partly what he had
down to the priest, now more than ever.“Thank you, Mokuba. I will see what I can do to help your brother. Now
why don’t you keep playing?”
“Yes, Pharaoh. Pharaoh? May I ask for a favor?”
“What is it?”
“Please don’t tell Akunadin about me. I don’t want to have
to leave Nii-san.”
“Never fear, Mokuba, no one will take you from Seth.”There were so many shadows around the High Priest. Atemu had never expected
there to be such a tragic history behind his lover. Now it was up to him to
ease some of this pain from Seth. No easy task granting that Atemu had added
to this pain. Even made the priest suicidal. ‘No wonder pride is so important
to Seth. He wouldn’t be holding himself together without it.’*

*Sorry I am leaving it at that today. Not even a lime for the craven. I honestly
do not know when I am going to update this again. My dog, Tia Maria, died only
6hrs ago and I wouldn’t be posting this if I hadn’t almost had it
done. Forgive me if the last half sucks. I’m rather upset about me dog
so we will have to see how this goes.Hella, Queen of the UnderworldDogs had better get a nice afterlife.
