Summary: Seto is sick of his twin brother Seth. Seth gets everything and Seto is tired of it so he decides to do something about it. Kisara, Seth’s long time girlfriend calls Seth for a date but instead receives Seto unknowingly. Will Seto finally get his revenge on his brother?

~*~Last Time~*~
“You said Seto needed you. Needs you for what?” She said as her eyes sparkled slightly.

“Oh, an assignment for school. I gotta go Kisara I’ll talk to you later. I love you.” He said quickly pretending he didn’t notice the look in her eyes.

“Alright bye.” She rolled over and went back to sleep. Seth quickly left the house. When he got to the sidewalk he looked back at it. ‘She didn’t even say I love you.’

‘Maybe it is over.’ With that final thought he ran home.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Seto woke up to the usual coldness of his room and the deep blue colour that the sun emitted through his curtains. He also noticed the empty bed that was supposed to contain his twin but didn’t. He had debated all last night about whether or not to go with his brothers and company to the karate tournament that was being held in the park. His final decision was that if Kisara went he would go if she didn’t then he wasn’t.

He rose from beneath the sheets stretching and yawning from the deep sleep. The muscles beneath the skin of his back moved smoothly making any girl scream and drool. He slipped on some simple slippers to keep his feet semi warm and pulled on the black pajama bottoms over his blue boxers and began his trip downstairs for some form of breakfast.

Stair by stair, Seto made his way to the kitchen only to find his twin bursting through the door breathless. His younger brother Mokuba was in the living room either playing a game or watching his normal cartoons.

“Back so soon?” Seto said coldly to his twin.

“Uh, yeah…she had to…uh…finish something. Yeah that’s it.” Seth said sounding extremely distracted. Seto just raised an eyebrow at his perfect brother’s “imperfectness.” It seems both satisfying and unsettling to the younger twin as he turned to make his usual breakfast of eggs and bacon. He watched, out of the corner of his eye, as his older brother walked almost drunkenly up the stairs to their room.

‘Hmm, something must have happened between them. Good.’ He flipped the eggs and bacon over so it didn’t burn. He may have liked his eggs over hard, and his bacon crispy but he HATED have burnt eggs. As he put his breakfast on a plate and poured himself a glass of orange juice Seth came down the stairs in a pair of green shorts and a plain white muscle shirt. “So, Seth, did you ask Kisara about going to the park today?”

The slap to Seth’s forehead predicted his answer. “Dammit,” said Seth, “I forgot to ask her. I’ll call her in a minute.” He reached over and stole a piece of Seto’s bacon then took off upstairs again to use the phone. Seto just glared at his brother and went to go and eat in the dining room grabbing the comics out of the daily paper.

Seth came quietly down the stairs a few minutes after her ran upstairs and went to the dining room and sat with his brother. “She’s not coming. Yami is though. Did you still want to come?” The older twin said looking almost depressed.

“No,” said Seto simply as he got up and left the room. He walked calmly up the stairs a big grin slipping across his face as soon as he got to their room he locked the door…well wedged it shut with his computer chair and picked up the phone. He quickly dialed Kisara’s phone number and sprawled out on top of his bed. She picked up the phone.

“Seth I don’t want to talk about it.” She said soundly slightly irritated.

“It’s me Kisara,” he said softly. “It’s Seto.”

“Oh hi Seto. I’m sorry I thought you were…” she said quickly.

“I know it’s alright. I heard you weren’t going to the tournament with Seth,” he said a little more happily then he should have.

“No I’m not,” she responded, “I was actually hoping that you and I can spend some time together. Do you want to?”

“Of course, when and where would you like to meet up?” he said, thinking about how lucky he was.

“Umm,” she paused for a moment and Seto just listened to the sweet sounds of her breathing. “In an hour, outside The Poetic Bean(1), sound good?”

“Yes, I’ll see you there,” he said feeling a smirk slide its way into his lips.

“Great! Talk to you then! Thanks Seto!” She said excitedly and Seto could just see the smile brighten her already beautiful features. The two hung up and headed to get ready for their “date”.

Seto was pulling on his navy blue jeans [AN: tight of course ^_^] as someone attempted to open the door, he had wedged shut.

“Seto, Open the damn door!” came Seth’s voice from the other side of the door. Seto just raised an eyebrow at this second display of imperfection. Finally the computer chair was wedged loose and in came an angry looking “nice” twin.

“Why hello Seth if you wanted in you should have just said so,” came a very false sincere reply by Seth, receiving a glare from his twin.

“Sometimes Seto I just wish…” Seth’s voice trailed off. “…never mind.” Seth then looked up as Seto put on a black shirt. “Where are you going?” Seto just raised an eyebrow.

“None of your damn business, now move,” he said heading for the door. Seth was left in the doorway staring at his twin’s retreating form. He pulled out his cell phone and quickly dialed Yami’s number.

“Hello?” came a drowsy Yami’s greeting.

“Yami, we need to go to phase two. She’s retreating, you know what might happen.” Seth voice was harsh and made his point very clear.

“Seth?” said a still sleepy Yami.

“Yeah,” said Seth is his harsh voice.

“Phase Two. Alright, I’ll get it done tomorrow.” Yami’s voice was less sleepy and now sharp.

“Good, now get dressed I’m coming with Mokuba.” Seth just heard the ‘alright’ Yami said as he hung up. ‘I’m sorry it had to come to this Kisara but I won’t have history repeat itself.’ Seth’s inner voice was just as harsh and sounded extremely cruel. Just as he put his phone in his pocket Mokuba came running into the room.

“Seth,” he said excited “can we go now?! Huh can we? Please!!” said the little Kaiba jumping up and down.

“Yeah, let’s go.” He grabbed a t-shirt and shut the door behind him. He knew deep down that something big was forming right under his nose and there was nothing he could do about it. ‘So much for the perfect life…’ were his last thoughts as he left the house with Mokuba at his side.

Seto stood patiently outside of the Poetic Bean. Kisara was one of the few people he would be patient for. He hated waiting for anything but in this case he’d make the exception and it was to his benefit. A white-blonde head was seen in the crowd, as he searched for it his gaze was caught by a pair of big blue eyes that looked worried.

“Seto! I’m so glad you came, I thought maybe you might not be able to,” she spoke quickly and Seto picked it up as a sign of her nerves on edge. He noticed that she tended to speak very quickly. Her arms wrapped around him tightly as if she never wanted to let go. His arms hesitantly went around her.

“Of course I came, I’d never dream of standing you up,” he said sincerely. “Now,” he started as she withdrew from the hug, “would you like to go in or did you have another place to go?”

“Let’s go in.” She said simply. He held the door for her and in they went. After getting a table and ordering some drinks, she began to speak. “You remember when we were kids?”

“Yeah…” he drew out the reply rolling it over his tongue like a carefree word.

“More specifically, do you remember when Seth and Yami started…” she paused, almost afraid to admit what happened to her, “stalking me?”

“I would not have called that stalking.” He said as he put his now empty cup into its saucer. “But for your sake I won’t say what I would call it.”

“Thanks,” she looked sincere as she said it but her thoughts were elsewhere, “but well, do you think it’s possible that Seth may be doing something like that again?”

“He’s forcing himself on you?” Seto questioned with a twinge of anger drifting in his eyes.

“No, not exactly,” she signed, “I’d say he’s more demanding now but not forcing me.”

“I see.” The statement was simple but cause anger at his twin and that pathetic friend of his.

“He, umm…” she started but was cut off by Seto’s calm but firm voice.

“When did you begin to think this?” he said calmly, genuine worry filled his “cold” blue eyes.

“Since…” she paused again and looked straight into his gaze, “…yesterday.” She preceded to tell him about what happened last night. He thought carefully about what she said and thought about the history they all had together but the event that held his concentration the most other then her words was what they did to her that day, and he wondered ‘How far are you going to go this time Seth?’ and ‘What are you planning?’. His blue eyes held hers and a startling thought went through his head. ‘I’m going to have to save her again.’
