War of the Angels

It's been one week so far. Yuugi hasn't smiled, hasn't laughed, hasn't moved much,
or speak much. Even though his lover was taking care of him, he was in deep heavy
depression that hurt Yami to him like that. Yuugi seemed to be getting sicker and
sicker. He was refusing to eat at times to the point Yami had to force feed him. Yami
was agrivated with him, and had to yell at him a few times, but he refused to leave
his side. Yami had good reason to scold him. Everytime Yuugi talked suicidaly, or
refused to eat, Yami had to do something to keep him from thinking that horrid way.
Yami noticed everytime he was cleaning him up to put a fresh garmett on him, he
always looked to the side, trying to hide his face from Yami, but he could see his
red tear soaked face. He did the same thing when he was sponge bathing him too.
Yuugi finally spoke to him one night when they were getting ready to go to bed.
"Yami?" He was crying. It seemed like he was crying since the incident.
"What's wrong Yuugi?" Yami nuzzled him just the same.
"I hate living like this, I can't take anymore." Yuugi cried as Yami was brushing
away his rushing tears. "I feel like a helpless baby."
"It's only temperary my love, calm down, you need to get some sleep, you look
awful.
"I feel awful."
"I know, I know, but please try to get better, for me, for yourself too." Yami
kissed his ear.
"How can you put up with me like this?"
"I'll do what ever it takes, as long as you get better and happy." Yami sighed.
"I miss the warmth in your smile, the joy in your laughter..." Yami kissed his cheek again.
"I love you so much, I would kill for you."
"I know you would, you did." Yuugi said sleepily. Yami wrapped his arms around Yuugi by
his side. "Yami."
"Yes sweety?"
"Thank you."
"I would do it all over again if I had too." Yami looked into Yuugi's drenched sagging eyes.
"No one will hurt you ever again."
