Intro to Domino
Chapter Four- Intro to Domino

Kagome followed Duke to his home swiftly. She gasped a bit as the fact hit her. They were still in the building. She turned to him. “Okay Duke, what’s going on?”
He appeared confused. “What do you mean, ‘what’s going on’?”
“What do you do for a living?”
Duke smiled. “Oh..I own this game shop.”
Her eyes went wide and she felt as if she could have fainted. “You..own this place?”
He nodded. “Yep. Now come on.”
Kagome stepped into an elevator after him. He pressed a button and they waited for the elevator to rise. Once it stopped he exited and she followed. Duke showed her to a room and handed her a key.
“Go ahead and set up what you have. Yami’ll be here in about half-an-hour to take you shopping.”
She nodded agreeably and he left.
Once he was gone, she cautiously entered the room and looked around. Her eyes went wide once more. There wasn’t a room. More of a….prettymuch fully furnished apartment. She laughed. ‘Oh well, this is cool.’ She sighed and shook her head, before putting her stuff away.
~~20 minutes later~~
Kagome looked up as she heard a knock on the door. “Come in!” she called.
Yami entered, smiling. “Ready to go?”
She nodded. “Yep.”
“Well, come on.”
When they were outside, he showed her to his car. She smiled. “Very nice.” (Okay, he had a Jaguar).
He grinned at her. “Yeah, isn’t it?”
Kagome nodded in satisfaction, climbing in. Once she was seated she let out a gasp. A wave of cold air from the AC had washed over her. Yami laughed softly, looking at her.
“Too cold?”
She shook her head. “Just fine, thanks.”
He chuckled, turning it down. “Don’t worry about it.”
They arrived at a large department store a bit later and Yami smiled slightly.
“I’ve been told to spend as much as you want. So go ahead and buy anything that you wish.”
Kagome raised her eyebrows questioningly. “Anything?”
He nodded. “Anything.”
It took about two hours for her to find everything she wanted, and she came out with five large bags, holding clothes, accessories, and other products.
She quickly said bye to Yami when he dropped her off and went upstairs to prepare for her date with Kaiba.
