First, a huge, HUGE thank you for all the great reviews! I love the feedback; keep it coming!
Warnings for this chapter: lemon and some minor swearing.
BTW, for my next fic (a story I've been trying to get to come together for ever-so-long) I'm thinking of hooking Jada, who would have turned 18 a few weeks before this tale starts, up with, of all people, Pegasus. (Hey, I like him, even though I started out wanting to bitch-slap him for what he did to Yugi and his grandfather.) Not as strange as it sounds - from what I've heard, he's supposed to be about 24. And I have some ideas about what he's been put through to make him act the way he did......and I can feel for anyone who only wanted to get the love of his life back somehow, any way he could......
Anyway, on with the chapter! :-)
****************************************************************************************
The sun peeked hesitantly over the horizon the next morning, peering through a huge striated peacock fan of clouds that spanned the width of the sky, converging at a point on the horizon that took aim directly at the heart of the massive storm. The first blush of light turned the huge fan crimson and the sky behind it the same perfect amethyst as a certain duelist's eyes. Speaking of whom --- the sun, apparently having made up its mind, climbed a bit higher in the sky, sending a first bright ray through the fan, across the ocean, over the waterfront and between the buildings until it came to the Kame Game Shop, where it slipped between the not-quite-drawn curtains of an upstairs window and struck Yugi Mutou directly in the face. With a whimper, Yugi rolled over away from the light, burying his face against Yami's chest. "G'way--"
"Mmm?" Yami hugged his koibito tighter, curling around him and burying his face in Yugi's hair.
"S'zerly--" Yugi mumbled from the furtherest edge of consciousness.
Yami gradually realized the room was getting brighter and opened his eyes. It was still early, only about quarter of six. He smiled, cuddling Yugi closer. The palace concubines could have learned much from his little hikari. Yugi was a very cute and unwittingly provocative dancer, shimmying back against his lover, shaking his little hips, then turning to flash a coquettish glace over his shoulder, blonde strands falling suggestively over one eye. Then, when the music slowed, he'd simply snuggled into his darker half's arms, nestling his head on Yami's shoulder. Needless to say, Yami had been in quite a state when they got home, hardly able to get Yugi to the bedroom before pouncing on him---
"Yami, if you don't stop thinking that you're going to have to make love to me again," Yugi murmured sleepily.
"I don't know, koi. I don't think you're going to be able to get out of bed as it is," Yami replied, amused.
Yugi looked up with a drowsy smile. "Speak for yourself, Yami koi." They'd wound up making love three times that night - the first two within the same hour, the last time after Yami had awakened from an intensely erotic dream and, needing to do something about it, started nuzzling and kissing the still-sleeping Yugi. His kisses and caresses had been so gentle that Yugi hadn't awakened at first, thinking he was dreaming that he and Yami were making love - until he'd felt Yami abruptly thrust into him and opened his eyes with a startled cry, finding himself staring into the former pharaoh's crimson ones. "Y-Yami?!"
His lover chuckled, rather breathlessly. "I hope you weren't expecting someone else." He hadn't realized until a moment too late that Yugi had been whimpering in his sleep and hadn't been technically awake. He wouldn't have been able to take him that way at all if Yugi hadn't still been so wet from all the hand cream Yami had used as a lubricant the other two times - not to mention from his darker half's sperm as well.
"Never anyone else----oh Yami---" Yugi whimpered. "T-take me, please, hurry!quot; He'd dreamed of Yami taking him unaware like this for so long - then to have it happen so unexpectedly --- "Oh Yami---"
"Koibito---" Yami gave in to his own passion and started thrusting hard into his little hikari, making Yugi cry out as he hit the bundle of nerves that made him see stars with every stroke. Yami's last coherent thought before their respective climaxes took them was that Yugi was going to scream himself hoarse if he wasn't careful----
Yami chuckled at the memory and pinched Yugi's adorable little rump, making his little hikari squeak and giggle. They ended up in a long kiss.
"Just hold me for awhile, please," Yugi whispered when their lips parted. "You make me feel so safe."
"You're still nervous, aren't you, koibito?" Yami said gently, stroking Yugi's tangled hair.
"I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm sorry---" Yugi said softly.
"Don't apologize, my little amethyst. It's all right," Yami murmured, nuzzling him. "And I'll be here for you, always."
"Yami?" Yugi suddenly looked up. "If --- if I hadn't been the one who --- you know, if it had been someone else -- would you have -- I mean---?"
"Shush," Yami scolded affectionately, kissing Yugi to shut him up in the gentlest way possible. "There was none other I could have loved. I dreamed of you for five thousand years, but I never imagined that one day you would be real, in my arms. I must have dreamed you into existence, my beloved, my jewel, my innocent angel---"
"Oh, Yami koi---" Yugi couldn't have come up with anything that romantic, so he settled for kissing his lover as passionately as he could. "I love you so much, Yami."
Yami kissed him again, tenderly. "I love you too, hikari no tenshi."
Yugi lay nestled in his darker half's arms for a few minutes, enjoying the contact, before sighing and saying, "We should probably get up. I should do laundry before we go, I---ow." He'd gotten to his knees only to realize that he was indeed rather sore from the previous night's activities.
Yami sat up as well. "Sorry, koi."
"It's not like I didn't want you to----" Yugi blushed, feeling his lover's sperm trickling down the backs of his thighs.
"Oops." Yami used the crumpled sheet to help mop up.
"Sorry--" Yugi flushed a deeper red, thinking that making love had to be the most undignified, awkward, messy thing he'd ever done - not that he was complaining, mind you.
Yami laughed affectionately, reading his koi's thoughts. "We're going to need to get you washed up before we do anything else, aibou. It looks like I left you in quite a state."
Yugi looked at him. "We? Yami, I'm quite capable of -- hey!" He squeaked when Yami jumped off the bed and scooped him up in his arms. "Yami, put me down!"
"No way, koi. You'll start the washing machine while I'm in the shower again," Yami pointed out, laughing.
"That was Grandpa," Yugi protested, giggling despite himself. "And I had no idea you could hit a high note like that, Yami koi."
"You're going to get another spanking if you're not careful," Yami said, his eyes sparkling.
"Please. My rump hurts enough already, thanks to you," Yugi sighed in mock dismay as Yami carried him out of the bedroom.

Yami was actually the one who wound up putting the laundry in while Yugi started breakfast. By the time the former pharaoh came back upstairs from the basement, Yugi's attempt at making omelets had disintegrated into scrambled eggs.
"That looks good, aibou," Yami said, putting his arms around Yugi's waist and peering at the frying pan.
"It looked better before I messed them up," Yugi sighed. "I'm sorry, Yami."
"Now koi---" Yami scolded gently. He went to get plates as Yugi finished up the eggs.
Yugi took the pan off the stove, scraped the eggs on the plates and started to set the still-sizzling frying pan in the sink - only to accidently put his hand on the still-scorching side. He cried out and dropped the pan into the sink with a loud crash, startling Yami badly.
"Aibou!" Yami rushed over and grabbed him, holding him close. "Are you all right?"
"Ow. Yeah. I'm just stupid--" Yugi said miserably, looking at his hand. It didn't look badly burned, but it still stung. "I'm sorry. I'm such an idiot."
"Aibou, don't talk about yourself like that," Yami scolded gently. "And stop apologizing for everything."
"I'm sorry---" Yugi said before he caught himself, then put his uninjured hand over his mouth, looking at Yami with stricken eyes.
"Koibito---" Yami sighed, kissing Yugi's forehead, then taking his injured hand and holding it gently under the cold water faucet until it stopped hurting. The skin was slightly red, but it wasn't a serious burn. "Come on, eat your breakfast before it gets cold, little one."
"You're not mad at me, are you?" Yugi said softly, eyes downcast.
"Chibi tenshi, I think it would be impossible for me to ever be mad at you," Yami said gently. "Mad about you is another thing altogether, however. I am indeed very much that."

By the time they arrived at Seto's mansion around one, the sky was scummed over with pale clouds that completely obscured the sun. Despite the overcast, it was stiflingly warm and humid, and, oddly, considering the approaching cyclone, completely still. Not even a hint of a breeze.
"You two can have the big guest suite," Seto was saying as they walked into the huge, marble-tiled foyer with its pillars and vaulted ceiling. "Ryou and Bakura will be by later, along with Jada and Tristian."
"Since when are they a couple?" Yugi said.
"They aren't. He's still with whatshername and Jada's not seeing anyone right now," Seto said. His cousin insisted she wasn't interested in a relationship right now, having recently broken uph a h a guy she had "politely" described as "a total asshole." Jada and Yugi had briefly dated, but it had soon become apparent that, although he really did like Jada a lot, he was really in love with his Yami. Jada, perhaps realizing it before Yugi himself, had gracefully bowed out, leaving Yami to comfort the distraught Yugi - and the rest had been history. The only problem was that Jada hadn't managed to hook up with a decent guy since. She had dumped her last boyfriend after, at a movie one night, she'd gone to see why he was taking so long at the concession stand and discovered him in a passionate tongue-wrestling contest with the blonde behind the counter. Seto shook his head slightly at the thought. Jada, despite her intelligence and undeniable beauty, had the worst judgement when it came to men.
"Hey guys," Joey said, coming in.
"Hey Joey," Yugi said.
Joey looked at him curiously. "Are you okay, Yuge? You sound kind of hoarse."
"Huh? I'm ----" Yugi blushed scarlet, realizing, and Joey laughed.
"Yami, just what are you doing to him last night?" the blonde asked. "I'm jealous."
Yami smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know."
Seto had to smile. Somehow he wouldn't have thought Yugi to be a screamer, but, then again, he never would have thought he'd actually want to be friends with him, either.
"Puppy, let's not embarrass him, okay?" he said, draping an arm around Joey's shoulders.
"Embarrass him? I freaking want lessons!" Joey said, "C'mon guys, I'm starving. Let's find something to eat!"
As Yugi followed him, Seto looked around at Yami. "You look worried." Both Yugi and the pharaoh had been unusually quiet on the way over. They weren't acting like they were fighting, but still, it bothered Seto.
Yami shook his head. "Yugi fears something, but he won't tell me what. I don't think he knows what it is." He related the story of Yugi's panic attack the night before, but didn't include his own anxieties. They were just too formless at this point.
Seto shook his head. "Poor Yugi. I think he's just worried with his grandfather being away and the storm and all. He's so sensitive." There was a word he never thought he'd use to describe another guy, but there really wasn't any other way to put it. Yugi was sensitive. He picked up on other people's thoughts and feelings and emotions so easily it was almost frightening at times. "Come on, let's go see what those two are up to."
