Ch.4 Making a new friend
Once we arrive back, I climb out of the car and walk around and carry him inside once I get him out of the car. As soon as were in I shut the door and walk into the living room and lay him down on the couch, before getting a pillow and blanket for him.
After I retreve the items I return and gently lay the pillow behind him and then lay the blanket over him while I move over to the chair that was next to the couch and relax, before deciding on reading a book to keep my self a mused.
Seconds later my cell phone ring's so I answer it only to find out it's Yami."Yeah, Linda my schedule was changed I need to stay longer than planed so I won't be there for dinner, i'm sorry", "It's ok i'll do take out, so see you when you get home" and with that we hang up.
Hours later it was now 12 noon and I was still reading only to hear movement from the couch only to notice it was the teen. "Have a nice sleep?" I ask."Yes, thankyou for earlier" replies the other. "Ah don't mention it I was glade to help, by the way what's your name" I ask, as it comes to my mind.
"I'm Yugi, what's your" asks Yugi. "Linda, well Yugi since it's lunch time wanna go get some lunch, i'm sure your hungry" I comment. "Um.. I don't know" replies Yugi who was sounding a little uneasie. "Don't worry it's my treat" I say.
"Um.. Ms. Linda how did you know that person back there" asks Yugi."Um...one Linda is fine and too he goes to the same college that I go to" I reply to him. "Oh...um can I ask you one more thing?" asks a nerves Yugi.
"Sure" I tell him."....Can we be friends" says Yugi."Sure and if you ever want to talk or come over don't hesitate for i'll always be here" I say as I scrible down my cell # and my cousin'd address before handing it to him.
"Thanks", "Your welcome, now let's get lunch" and so we leave the house and head to burger world for lunch. Soon after we arrive at burger world and we find all bll booth before ordering 2 hamburgers and 2 chocolate shakes.
After a while of waiting and talking are food finally arrives and we begin to eat, but before eating I take the ketchup bottle and try to squrit some on my burger only to have some splat me on the face, landing on my cheek.
As that happened I hear giggling, so I look across from me to see Yugi laughing, but as I looked at him Yugi must've noticed for he stopped once he noticed my eyes looking at him causing to apoligize for his laughter.
"No don't apoligize, i'm glade you thought that was funny and besides you should laugh more often for the way you sound, you sound like the person who doesn't laugh that much" I recommend to him as he nods his head. So with nothing furthur we eat our lunch while I wipe the ketchup off my face and eating my lunch.
