Chapter 4: Caught by the Vampire Demon
Zypher Dragon: Well here’s the next chapter for all my reviewers. (if anyone reviewed to this)
*At Ryou’s house*
“ Diamond, do you think you know what happen to Tea because she is not here?” Yugi asked. “She got caught by Bakura because she was too far behind us so she was easy prey for Bakura.” Diamond said. “ So what are we going to do now? First Tristan now Tea, who knows who gonna be next.” Kaiser said. “He does got a point Diamond. So who would you think will become victim to Bakura next?” Ryou asked.
“ Well I would guess that he wouldn’t come after Yugi since Yami would come after him, and he wouldn’t come after Ryou since I’m guarding him and not many people know what happens when I go into a rage when something happens to Ryou.” Diamond answered. “So I guess the only person left is Joey or Kaiser.” Ryou said. “ So what are we gonna do because I’m definitely not becoming Bakura next meal again!” Joey said. “ Well I know one thing, we better hope for the best that Bakura doesn’t come here.”
Not far from there, Bakura was listening from the window. “ So they think they can escape me that easily well they are wrong so I guess I need to make my appearance.” Said Bakura as he laughed manically that Diamond could hear with her keen senses.
“ What’s the matter Diamond?” Yugi asked as he seen Diamond pricked her long ears up like she heard something. “ Bakura…. He’s here and he would be coming through the window right now!” Diamond said and as she finished her sentence, Bakura came through the window as Diamond said. “Well, well, well it seems to look like a party is going on in here and you didn’t even want to invite me.” Bakura said as he advance onto them, the maniacal look is his cat-like eyes and the saliva dripping from his mouth.
“What the best thing to do now Diamond?” Ryou asked as he started to back away with the rest of the group. “Well I got one answer for you Ryou…. RUN!!!” Diamond said as she started to run up the stairs with others behind her. “So you think you can get away from me well you won’t be so lucky.” Bakura said as he followed them up to the roof.
“Now what Diamond?” Joey said in panic. “I know one thing” Diamond said as she started to roar out into the night sky. “I know what she’s doing now,” Ryou yelled out to Yugi and Tristan. “What’s she doing then?” Tristan asked. “ She using a special technique called the Dragon’s cry and she doing tto cto call a dragon that I know named Shadow.” Ryou said.
“Who is Shadow?” Yugi asked. “ Shadow is a guardian beast-like dragon that Diamond calls is case of emergency like this one.” Ryou explained. “Ok you guys I called to Shadow and he should be here in a second.” Diamond said and as she said that they heard a roar from the distance. “Here he comes.” Diamond said.
“And here comes Bakura!” Kaiser yelled as Bakura came up on the roof. “ So you think you get away from me that easily well you’re in for it now.” Bakura said as he lunged at Kaiser. “ Hurry up and get on Shadow and Ryou you can ride on my back now move!” Diamond yelled and Ryou got onto her back while Yugi and Joey got onto Shadow’s back but Kaiser wasn’t so lucky.
“ You guys, help!” Kaiser yelled as he was backed up to the edge of the roof but it was too late as he lost his footing and fell from the roof but luckily Seto and Ruby were walking past and Ruby hearing Kaiseryellyell, looked up and saw Kaiser falling from the roof and ran over to him, catching him before he could hit the ground and damage his wings. “What going on pup?” Ruby asked as he placed Kaiser on the ground and Seto walked up to them. “I’m not a pup but right now I don’t have the time to argue with you I need to get back up to Joey before Bakura get to him.” Kaiser said as he was about to follow Diamond, Ryou and Joey before he was pulled back.
“What going on?” Seto asked, not showing his concern for Joey but is having a bad feeling of what Kaiser going to tell him. “Well, one night Bakura was taking a walk outside but he was attacked by some vampire named Kurai Kage and he was turned into a vampire himself but he didn’t change into no ordinary vampire but a vampire demon,” Kaiser explained and Seto looked shocked.
“And now he’s coming after us and I need to hurry up before he get to Joey.” Kaiser finished as he slipped from Seto’s grasp and flew up into the air following Joey, Yugi, Ryou and Diamond. “Come on Ruby, we need to go protect our puppies.” Seto said as he got on Ruby’s back and they to followed them.
“Well at least he can’t get us from the air right Diamond?” Ryou asked. “I wouldn’t be sure on that because he comes now.” Yugi said as he seen Bakura sprout wings from his back and came after them and them saw Seto following them and came up beside him. “We’ll hold him off as best as we can.” Seto said as he led Ruby over to the path Bakura was flying and Ruby followed his instincts and grabbed Bakura by his wings, throwing him off course and that helped a bit as he flew back to where Diamond and the others were.
“I threw him off course the best I can that should give you a good lead, now go, Joey,ser ser come with us.” Ruby said as he flew onto another direction, hearing Diamond telling Joey to go with him and Seto as they flew back to the mansion, grateful that Bakura didn’t see them as he was going after Diamond, Ryou and Yugi. ‘This may be way out of my league but be careful you three.’ Seto thought as they were out of sight.
