Darkened Myth of the Night

Zypher Dragon: *comes out of the anime cloud with a few bruises* ok, Bakura can really pack a punch.

Bakura: *drags her back in*

Yami: *sweatdrop* Well, Zypher thanks you for your reviews so here Chapter 4 of The Demon’s Myth of Domino City.


Chapter 4

When Yugi woke up later, it was night time and he hope Yami and Aqua were still here while he was asleep. He walked downstairs quietly and heard loud purring from the living room and went in that direction and was glad to see that Yami and Aqua were still there but in their demonic forms. ‘They must’ve changed into their demonic forms while I was asleep.’ Yugi thought then went up to Yami and sat down beside him, moving his hand to rub his back while he slept.

Yami purred in response and opened his eyes. Seeing Yugi he smiled and got up, nuzzling Yugi’s cheek and he giggled. “So do you have any idea what we could get tonight Yugi?” Yami asked, knowing that he will choose Anzu as their victim but wanted to be sure about it. “How about we go for Anzu, I know that you want to go for her since you first saw her but don’t kill her yet, this may sound different from me but I want to prolong her death.” Yugi said YamiYami smiled, showing him long, needle-sharp incisors.

“That’s a good idea Yugi, we will do anything for you since you our little koi.” Yami said and Yugi blushed. “Well, you go ahead and wake up Aqua while I go look for the prey.” Yami said and Yugi nodded, kissing Yami’s cheek and he smiled before turning into a liquid-like shadow and slipped under the door of the Game Shop, being to large while in his demonic form to actually make his way out.

Yugi watched him before going to wake up Aqua. “Aqua, it’s time to wake up.” Yugi said as he shook Aqua shoulder gently, bringing him out of his sleep and he yawned, giving Yugi a good show of his incisors and he looked down to Yugi. “ I guess it time to go isn’t it koi?” Aqua asked and Yugi nodded.

“Ok then, get on my back and we can go.” Aqua said, laying on his stomach so Yugi can climb up and once he was on, Aqua used a bit of his magic so they could materialize outside of the Game Shop and he went in the same direction as Yami.

Anzu, after being kicked out from the Game shop earlier, she walked around with two of her friends just to take her mind of the brat as she calls him Yugi. “I’m telling you Anzu, you’re more worthy that the brat, I don’t know why someone as hot as Yami and Aqua would choose him over you.” Kristen, a blond girl with blue-green eyes, said and Tira, a icy blue haired girl with sky blue eyes nodded.

“Yeah, I know, but one way or another, I will get rid of him then Yami and Aqua will be all mine.” Anzu said and they laughed never noticing the danger coming their way or the shadow that came from the roof and disappeared into a nearby alley. As they passed that same alley, Kristen who was closer to the mouth of the alley was grabbed by a large claw and dragged back in, her scream muffled and Tira noticed that she was gone and tapped Anzu’s shoulder.

“What is it, can I reminisce about Yami and Aqua without people bothering me.” Anzu said. “Yeah, yeah, I know that but Kristen is missing.” Tira said and Anzu looked behind her. “Maybe she went through that alley.” Tira said. Anzu scoffed. “Yeah, trying to scare us because of that lousy rumor everyone in school kept talking about maybe.” Anzu said and pushed Tira to the alley. “Go and see if you can find her, I go and check the next alley.” Anzu said and started to walk off into the next alley, leaving Tira alone.

She looked into the alley and took a large breath before going inside. “Kristen are you there?” Tira yelled and she got no response so she took another breath before walking further into the alley. “Ok Kristen, this is not funny, come on out.” Tira yelled again and she squeaked when she saw something slither past her and she stepped back that is until she tripped over something and felt something wet on the back of her jeans.

Suddenly the lights in the alley where a door was flickered on and she screamed when she saw the mutilated body of Kristen laying on the ground, blood spilling around her and onto the ground she was sitting on and her chest had a gaping hole where her heart was supposed to be. Kristen’s face held a shocked expression even in death.

Tira got up off the ground shaking and walked over to Kristen and examined he hole in her chest and noticed that her heart was indeed missing including her lungs and other organs where they were gaping holes but covered with black cloth that wasn’t part of the outfit Kristen wore when leftleft from home with her and Anzu.

‘Whatever did this must’ve be a demon, hopefully not the demon in the rumor. But I’m really hoping is not a demon at all, maybe a mutant dog that was let loose from some secret lab in the city’ Tira thought then turned back to walk out of the alley but then saw writing of the walls next to her and she went up to it, seeing that the message was in what looked like red paint to her but once she got closer she saw it was blood. ‘No doubt Kristen’s blood.’ She thought, scared out of her mind and went to read the message aloud.

“ One down, two more to go. Who will be next to come or go? Anzu Masaki or Tira Light? Whose blood will be spilt in the darkness of the night?” Tira said and started to back away until she saw more blood being written onto the wall by a mysterious force and she was scared enough that any man would piss their pants by now if they saw the same thing. She walked up to the wall once more and read what was there.

“Tira, I know you are there and I’m watching you now, if you don’t run soon then you would make an excellent not to mention delicious meal.” She gasped and tried to find who was watching her but the lights in the alley flickered off again. She heard rustling of garbage that was on the ground and tried to find the source of the noise. “Who’s there, please, tell me who you are?” Tira asked into the darkness, not wanting to be killed.

She then heard rustling of wings. ‘That doesn’t sound like bird s bus but bat wings.’ She thought and looked up only to see nothing. She whimpered and turned to where the alley entrance was but didn’t see one and she backed away, trying to find another way out. “Please, I don’t want to die, what do I have to do to leave here?” she tried asking whatever was doing this. The lights flickered on once more and there was more writing but only on the other wall.

“You want to get out right? Well then answer my riddle correctly the I will leave and never bother you again as long as I don’t hear nothing from my koi about you.” ‘Koi? How can something that murders people have a koi?’ She thought and more was written on the wall. “ Our koi loves us, even if we do murder people by devouring their body and soul, he would still love us.” ‘Great, now this thing can read minds and there’s more than one.’ She thought but ended the thought when she felt something wet like a tongue lick her neck from behind and she turned around quickly but didn’t see nothing.

“Ok, I’m very scared now, please, let me go.” Tira said once more, now really wanting to leave the alley and go back home and hope she would forget this ever happened. She saw more writing. “You want to leave so much then I will grant your wish if answanswer this riddle right. I am the light but I have darkness, I may be a angel but demon at heart. Who Am I?”

‘Oh no, how am I suppose to get this right, wait, there’s only one person that I know who is like that and that is…’ “You are Anzu Masaki.” Tira said, hating to go against her friend like that but she doesn’t care anymore, she was the one who sent her to her death in this alley. But for now, she was praying that her answer was right. She heard clapping from somewhere nearby then she saw the last bit of writing that change her life.

“You are correct Tira, so I will let you go but don’t think this will be the last you see of me.” Tira was shocked that she got the answer right and the exit to the alley appeared once more but she was very scared after the last bit of the sentence and left the alley quietly, still shaken from the whole ordeal with her near death experience.

But it wasn’t over for her yet as she felt something long and scaly wrapped around her waist and she screamed as she was dragged up to the roof and her mouth was covered by a large clawed hand drenched in blood.

Her eyes widened as she wlacelaced down gently on the roof and she finally got a glimpse of what caught her and she gasped when she saw it was one of the demons in the rumor. “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you.” The demon said and she whimpered. “Then what are you going to do with me?” she asked quietly and the demon laughed softly. “ I’m not going to do anything to you Tira, I’m just here to take care of something.” The demon said and she let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.

“Ok then, how do you know my name, who are you and are you the one who killed Kristen?” Tira asked again. “Yes I did kill your friend, she insulted my koi like Anzu did and she had to pay for it and as for my name, it is Yami and I’m trusting you to keep this secret for if I hear any word of it at school then you will be killed yourself.” Yami said, seeing the shocked expression on her face.

‘ How could Yami be the demon, but if he’s the demon, who is the other demon and how can Yugi be near them without getting killed himself?’ she wondered. “Well, now that this is taken care of, where is Anzu, Tira, I have something to talk to her about her behavior with my tenshi.” Yami said and Tira, still shocked just pointed to the alley to her left and he nodded, curling his tail around her and placed her back on the ground and he jumped from the roof into the alley where his prey was and Tira walked home, shocked on the new thing she learned about the most popular boy in school.

Aqua made it up to the alley where Yami was now and Yugi spotted Tira walking away. ‘ Something must’ve happen while Yami was here to make her so shaken right now.’ Yugi thought before he gripped the spikes on Aqua’s back more firmly as he ran into the alley.

“Ok, Kristen, where are you, we don’t have all night to be playing right now.” Anzu yelled, looking blindly through the darkness of the alley to find her friend, never noticing the large shadow in front of her until she bumped into it. “Is that you Kristen?” she asked and when she looked up, she screamed as she saw blood red eyes looking down at her.

“You want to see your friend Kristen, well then look in the alley where you sent your other friend Tira.” The demon said and she nodded slowly as she went to the alley were her friend is and when the lights flickered on and she screamed when she saw the body of her friend and she backed up until she bumped into another body and saw a demon dragon glaring down at her but what shocked her the most is that Yugi was on the back of the demon.

“Yugi why are you here and why are you on that demon’s back?” Anzu accused. “Why else would he be on my back, he’s our little koibito.” Aqua said. ‘Our?’ Anzu thought he she forgot about the other demon and she turned around the come face to face with the growling demon. “Yes, our koibito and we came here to put you in your place about insulting him.” The hybrid demon snapped, glaring at her coldly.

“And what are you going to do to me?” she asked, quite scared of the two demons. “That is for Yugi to choose.” Aqua said. “ Oh, good, how about we play a game.” Yugi said and Anzu scoffed again. “Why should I play a game, I have no time for this.” Anzu said and tried to get past but was caught in a bone crushing squeeze from Aqua’s tail and was brought up to where Yugi was. “You will play our tenshi’s game and if you don’t you will not be spared tonight.” Aqua hissed and she nodded.

“Now you are going to play Cat and Mouse with my two lovely demons here but your playing field will be this alley while theirs is the shadows, so you better hope you don’t hit any dead ends and if you can find your way out then you don’t have to worry about them since they don’t want to leave the shadows yet but if you do get caught, well let’s just say this will be you final resting place unless they decide something else to do with you.” Yugi said and Anzu gasped, turning her head to the body of her friend and saw that the hybrid demon was finishing off what’s left of her and she gulped, picturing her in that position and shuddered.

“Ok, you can release her Aqua.” Yugi said and she was shocked to hear his name. ‘Aqua, that demon can’t be Aqua.’ Anzu thought but she didn’t deny it once she got a look at the demon and saw that he did resemble Aqua in a way except he looked more demonic which, in her libido, she thought was a more better look that his normal form and she thought if Aqua is here then the other demon must be Yami but she had to stop her thoughts when she was throw to the ground.

Yami finished up with the body like an anaconda finishing up his meal whole, leaving no trace of it or the writings in blood in the wall that scared Tira that her soul was frozen everytime she thought about it after this day. He licked his lips then turned to Anzu with a hungry glint in his eyes. Yugi climbed off Aqua’s back and he walked over to where Yami was standing and sat beside him.

Yugi pulled out something from his pocket and they look like treats for a demon. Both Yami and Aqua caught onto the scent of the treats and walked up to Yugi and he smiled and he threw the treats up to them and they caught them, swallowing and licked their lips in delight. ‘I thank Diamond for making these treats for the demons if she were to ever meet them soon since she believe in the myth about them.’ Yugi thought and giggled when Yami nuzzled his stomach wanting more treats if he had anymore which he did.

Anzu watch the play of affection, glaring at Yugi because he has two attractive demons on his every beck and call while she watches on with jealousy. “Shall we start the game tenshi?” Yami purred into Yugi’s ear and he blushed and nodded before turning to Anzu. “ If I was in your position, I would run.” Yugi said and Anzu ignored his warning. “So, were supposed to be friends Yugi and yet your sending your demons on me, show what kind of friend you are.” Anzu said and turned her back on him.

“Well, if you was my friend, then why do you always tease me at school, Making deals with bullies the beat me up just so they can have a good time at night, telling your friends everything about me and they tease me behind my back and causing accidents and blame them on me. I don’t call that good friendship.” Yugi said. As Yugi was listing off everything Anzu did to him, made Yami and Aqua’s hatred for the girl even more than before.

“ We didn’t even know you that long and hearing everything you did to our tenshi you shouldn’t deserve to be spared so start running little mouse for the cats are ready to hunt.” Aqua hissed and Anzu forgot they were there at the spur of the moment to taunt Yugi about her way of friendship and started to back away until Aqua let out a piercing roar and she started to run through the maze of alleys, Aqua following closely.

“Come on Yugi, I know you don’t want to miss this.” Yami said and Yugi nodded, getting on Yami’s back and gripped onto his shirt which was only in rips after changing into his demon form and he was off into the darkness of the alleys, using his illusions to seal off every entrance of the alley except for on and that was the one he came through.

Anzu ran through the alleys, trying to find a way out but every place she found was sealed off and she backed up but squeaked when something ran past her and she fell back, hoping it wasn’t Yami or Aqua there. She heard the rustling of wings behind her and she turn around quickly, twisting her ankle in the process and she yelped, falling back again.

She heard faint growling and turned her head, trying to pinpoint where Yami or Aqua is but she couldn’t figure out where they were in the dark and whimpered pathetically. “Well, do you think she’s a suitable meal tenshi?” a voice that sounded like Aqua asked beside her and she looked around through the dark portion of the alley, still whimpering like a wounded puppy. (Zypher: No offense to you Jounouchi, Jou: None taken, she deserves it)

“Maybe, but I think she could be better as a chew toy.” Yugi’s voice floated through the darkness and in her mind she growled. ‘ That pipsqueak is really asking for it, if I survive this attack, at school I’m going to get Ushio on him and both Yami and Aqua won’t be able to help him.’ Anzu thought evilly but stopped her thoughts when she felt something wet licked her face and she tried to swat at it but it was gone before she hit whatever it was.

“But she is so succulent, sweet and delicious tenshi, why can we just have her as a midnight snack, please?” another voice purred through the night and Yugi giggled. “ But wouldn’t it be better for you two if you can torture her almost everyday Yami, especially for what she did to me?” Yugi asked and she heard a low chuckle, sending shivers up her spine. “ Maybe you’re right, but we can get a few bites off of her right, she doesn’t deserve to live without a few bruises?” Aqua’s voice flowed thought the air again.

She gulped when she heard that proposition and started to back away hoping to get past them without being seen. “Why of course you can, she’s your chew toy so you two can do whatever you want to her.” Yugi said. Yami and Aqua both laughed darkly and Anzu tried to get up and once she did, she tried to run away.

When she got out of that portion of the alley she tried finding her way back to where she first had to run off and she spotted the light that flickered on when she was cornered by Yami and Aqua and she saw the only exit out of the alley and she started to walk to it but never made it all the way out and to her freedom for a large shadow appeared in front of her and the shadow glared at her, knowing that she could never escape from them and she had tears gathering in her eyes.

‘I was so close but now I have become nothing but a plaything to two demons, hopefully they will go easy on me.’ She thought but she never noticed that Aqua heard the wandering thought. “Well, since you put it that way, maybe we won’t go easy on you.” Aqua said.

She gasped. ‘How did he hear my thoughts?’ Anzu thought again but she didn’t get an answer. “Now, shall we take our chew toy home Yugi?” Aqua asked happily, his tail thumping the ground quietly but happily like his mood since Anzu is getting what she deserves as Yami stepped from the shadows, Yugi sitting on his back, grinning.

“Yeah, I’m getting pretty tired and I’m having a feeling Yami has something to do with me so you have the night with your new chew toy. Let’s go home.” Yugi said as he pulled out two more treats and fed them to Yami and Aqua. Aqua picked up Anzu’s form with his mouth, wishing she could eat her right here but didn’t want to spoil anything that would happen soon and they left for home, Anzu whimpering in pain as she’s crying her eyes out, getting closer to her doom.

Zypher Dragon: *has Bakura tied up and hanging from a chain* Ok, that’s the end of this chapter, please review if you want to see some major Anzu bashing and a ton of fluff between Yugi and demon Yami in the next chapter.

Zypher Dragon: Umm, no. *places duck tape on Bakura mouth and watches him struggle* When Ryou gets back then you can go with him.
