Chapter 4
Annoying Yami and the star crossed warriors

*Jas POV*

I studied Yami unable to think of anything to say. I still had no idea how I knew the words or the song. The full moon of this unknown world still glowed through the clouds with the shade of blood red. I gasped as my millennium crystal appeared around my neck. Ah crap.

"Argh what the hell is this doing here?" I yelped as it a glowed dully.

"Jas you have a Millennium Item" Yami whispered as he stared at my crystal.

I stared at Yami trying to think of soing ing to say. But nothing came to mind. I had to lose it some how. Come on think. THINK!!!!

"Look it's an invisible sandwich!!!" I blurted whilst pointing behind him. Wow. that's err. very. convincing Jas. very convincing. Yami glanced behind him not really understanding what I was pointing at. What the heck? Look I know he's my boyfriend but. GOD WHAT A GULLIBLE GIT!!!

I quickly took the crystal off and threw it behind me in the bushes. Yami turned back. "I didn't see anything," Yami remarked. "What happen to the crystal?" Yami asked me.

"What crystal?" I asked putting on a confused innocent face. Yami sighed and was about to say something, when someone had wrapped strong arms around me with the Millennium Crystal in one of the hands.

"It's about time you let me out. Sleeping for a year giving ya such a back ache," The man whispered.

I growled and tried to get out of the person hold. Yami stood shocked.

"You know hikari it wasn't nice to lock me up," The man spoke again.

"If you weren't such a pervert you'd wouldn't have been locked up," I growled as I bit at the guys arm. Gee I must look like a psychotic squirrel to Yami here of course that's what I think a psychotic squirrel biting someone's arm would look like.

"But your such a hottie" He purred. I rolled my eyes.

"Besides Aibou, you're mine," he added as he kissed my neck. ALL RIGHT THAT'S IT!!!!

I kicked his foot getting him to let go of me and quickly went behind Yami and man is he is SO lucky that I spared from the inability to have children.
m nom not yours. I'm his. Ray, just get your ass back into the crystal." I growled spitting every word at him.

Ray rolled his eyes as he swung the Millennium Crystal.

"Who is he?" Yami asked bemusedly. ^-^ He's so cute when he's bemused. doesn't really help in this situation but he's still cute.

"Uh. my Yami, Yami this is Ray the spirit of the Millennium Crystal, Ray this is Yami my boyfriend, OK now you've met. Bye, bye Ray." I quickly introduced with along with a side order of ner chu chuckles. "Now get back in the crystal right now." I added through gritted teeth.

"You picked the runt pharaoh over good looking me?" Ray grumbled. I growled

"See? This is EXACTLY why I tried to lock you up and hide the Millennium Crystal. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEEM TO GET IT IN YOUR THICK HEAD THAT I. DON’T. LIKE YOU!!! I yelled. Ray grinned.

"Then what about that one night? We did almost go all the way." Ray whispered seductively. I growled.

"HELLO!?!? Last time I checked in my memory banks sexual assault whilst I was asleep DOES NOT COUNT AS A ONE NIGHT STAND!!!!" I growled. Yami looked from me to Ray kinda cutely considering we were throwing insults at each other like a tennis match.

"So you have a millennium item 'and' a Yami?" Yami asked.

"He is too perverted to be 'my' Yami and I'd gladly sell my soul to get his ass of my back. He's the reason why I never said anything about the Millennium Crystal. I mean. he's worse than Bakura. and that's definitely saying something." I added. Ray made a face.

"Hikari may I talk to you alone?" Ray asked pulling me off. Yami glared and was about to followed when Lina called for him.

I stared at Ray. "What?" I growled annoyed. Ray held on to my arm and then lift up my shirt.

"What the hell did they do to you?" Ray cried looking aghast.

"They did nothing. You remember the school I told you about. It was only for boys?" I explained. Ray sighed.

"Well you still look great." Ray whispered pulling me into his arms.

"Ray let go before I-." I began looking away. Ray had interrupted me by lifting up my face up and kissing me. MAN DOESN'T HE TAKE A HINT!!!! My eyes darkened and I growled before I punch Ray. Ray yelped as he backed away.

"Do that again and I'll aim much lower" I growled walkinay. ay. Ray followed whining.

"Oh come on what about a threesome? Yami on bottom you in the middle and me on top, Yami and I won't be able to see each other and we're all happy!!!" Ray cried with stars twinkling in his perverted eyes. Eww. gross. I rolled my eyes.

"Ray just give it up." I mumbled with a sigh walking back and now noticing the others were out side along with some of the people of the village.

"Bakura long time no see" Ray squealed happily. Yeah, yeah I wish he were squealing like a dying pig too but hey. I can dream can't I. Bakura looked and couldn't believe that he was being reunited with one of his old partners. Bakura and Ray did a manly hug.

"Oh great, that's all I need a white headed prat and a disgusting pervert" I grumbled sardonically as I looked around. "What going on?" I asked as Ray came over again trying to glomp me. I quickly hid behind Yami who death glared at him. HA!!!! Let's see how you'll get to me now Ray-kun. Ray made a face.

Lina step forward. "You are all the chosen ones" Lina announced as she stepped forward. An old man stepped after her

"Come around the fire while I tell the story" he explained. We all looked at one another then we followed.

We all stood around the fire. The old man looked up at the sky as the full blood red moon appeared.

**Story**

"Along time ago our word was a dark place. It was a place where monsters roamed freely across the lands striking fear among our ancestors. Thing became worst when Sanami decedent of Merrick took control of the monsters and ordering the slaughter of thousands of innocent people. Even the kind-hearted creatures that lived amongst them. When Merrick found a wa oth other worlds we had to find away to stop them. Then a pharaoh from a world much like your own came to our aid along with his pregnant wife. They found a way to break our world into two worlds. Making one into the shadow realm
and this world into the light world. We thought it was over and celebrated for the victory of treatreat pharaoh and his wife when the pharaoh was called out again being informed that the Blue Eyes White Dragon was still in this world.

When the pharaoh was out. Merrick attacked. Thinking he could at least take off with the queen and claim her as his own but she didn't go peacefully. She fought back and wouldn't give in. however the burden of the unborn child had weighed not in her favor. She fought with her sword and wounded Merrick to the point that they fell to the ground. The queen who had thought she was victorious turned to walk away when Merrick grabbed hold of her turn her back trying one last time to claim her. But when she wouldn't kiss back. He stab her own sword though her. As she fell back he rip the child from her
womb. The pharaoh entered in time to watch his future child be dropped to the ground. The pharaoh mad with fury and grief killed Merrick with his own hands and tried to heal the fatal wounds, however the damage was done as she died in the young king's arms"

The old man pointed to the stone that I had been looking at before. "That was her last goodbye and that is where she was buried." he concluded as he looked back at the stone and then bac us. us. I stared at him in shock. I know that story somehow. The man looked to Yami.

"And we are still grateful for what you did." he added. Yami looked to me. His eyes filled with pain. The pain of the memories and losing his loved ones whilst fighting for strangers he didn't know. Here Yami lost his first love and a child he never got to know. I wrapped my arms around him and held him close.

"Yami. I." I was lost for words as I held him. What exactly could I tell him to make things better? Yami closed his eyes as tears fell.

"Now I have called you all to my world again. For a worse evil than Merrick has come forward. We need you all to become our Star Crossed Warriors." he announced. We all stared at him.

I wasn't listening. Why should I? Call me selfish if you want but these people were the ones that Yami had helped before and what was result? Losing his loved ones to save a bunch of strangers and they dare to ask for our help again? I was too busy thinking of Yami to bother. I loved Yami with all my heart. Maybe it was time to show him just how much. I took Yami hand led him away from this stupid meeting.

"I don't think we need to hear anymore of that" I whispered as I led him to the room I had been staying in. The high widow let the sun in. Yami sat down on the bed. He looked up as I tilted his face towards me.

"Losing people you love is hard. I haven't lost anyone that close to me but for some reason I can feel your pain as if it was my own. I may never replace her. But I do hope you have room for me" I whispered gently touching his face. "Yami I love you. I love you so much it hurts." I whispered kissing him and the tears away. It was time.

I gently ran my tongue across his lips wanting in and he opened up whilst wrapping his arms around me and pulled me down on to his lap making me place both knees on either side of his hips. I blushed slightly feeling the bulged in his pants. Hey it's my first time. I groaned lightly. Getting a new feeling come from the new parts of myself.

"I love you too Jas. You'll always be a part of me." Yami rasped as he ran his hand up my shirt. I groaned at his touch.

"Oh Yami please. I'm ready I want you to be a part of me. I want to show you just how much I love you," I whispered as we laid back.
