Okay, to be completely honest, I'd totally forgotten this existed.
Couple days ago I was looking through aff.net for good Joey/Mai fics, and found this one. "Hey, this sounds familiar," I thought. Click. "Oh, wow, this REALLY sounds familiar." Look at author. "Shit, was that ME? When the heck did I post this?"
I found the old MSWord file in the dredges of my documents folder, and have enough bits and pieces that I can probably finish this story. The problem is, I don't have a lot of spare time. So, I'm asking you all, as the most wonderful people I know (because you actually reviewed my story), to truthfully tell me if there's anyone out there still interesting in the end of the story. If there is, I'll do my best to finish it, but if not I have other projects I have to work on (like essays of DOOM ... mumble mumble teachers mumble ...)

UPDATE, 10/17 - Edited the chapters for typos and tried to get rid of those weird errors - you know what I'm talking about, when bits of words get scrambled randomly? I think it's a bug in the upload software.
Also deleted the "notes" chappie, just like I'm going to delete this one when I get the next chapter up. Oh, and I corrected a few mistakes in the third chapter: mispelling "Hirutani" and fixing Joey's dad's name (now that I know Jonouchi is the FAMILY name and Katsuya is the personal name, I changed his dad's FAMILY name to Jonouchi).
