Atemu and Yuugi were done hours later. Their friends just

walked in after they were done dressing. Atemu leaned down

to whisper a question to Yuugi.

"I hope they didn't hear us." Yami said.

"I'm sure they didn't." Yuugi whispered back.

"So what have you guys been up too while we were gone." It took all of

Jou's will power to surpress his laughter.

"We couldn't get the damn helacopter to work so we came back here." Seto said.

"Guys Yami got his memory back, he knows me agian." Yuugi said then hugged

Atemu with affectionate nuzzling.

"Good then you know how to get us all out of here." Seto said.

"Wait, we have to go now, I know where we are." Yami said then ran out the door.

"Follow me." Atemu called out to the others. They ran close behind and stopped when

Atemu stopped. They were in front of a feild covered in sand and black smog.

"Back away now." Atemu urged them to move back. Just as they did, the Ammut

emerged from the ground with dead souls dripping from his aligator mouth.

"Yami, what is that?" Yuugi was startled.

"Ammut, don't let it get you he's The Eater or Souls." Atemu was flush pale now. The

Ammut was looking directly at him. "NO, HE WANTS ME!" Atemu pushed Yuugi forward.

"RUN FROM HERE NOW, ALL OF YOU GO!" Atemu demanded. They all ran from the beast

as it ran on it's lion-like legs wich supported his heavy hippo body and aligator head.

Ammut was the scariest monster in Egypt. Atemu and the others found an underground

hole to hide in. Atemu pushed them in one by one until he was left standing. By the time

he jumped in Ammut snagged him by the arm before the creature could take a bite out

of Yuugi.

"NO, YAMI!" Yuugi cried as Jou pulled him into the hole with everyone else. Once underground

Yuugi was the one who needed to be restrained. He was trying to get back outside. Jou and

Honda held him by the arms while he was flipping out. "LET ME GO, HE'S STILL OUT THERE!"

Yuugi cried.

"YUUGI THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO, CALM DOWN!" Honda shouted. Jou pulled Yuugi into

his arms and held him restraining him with not just force but also comfort.

"LET GO, PLEASE, I WANT TO SAVE HIM!" Yuugi cried. "No, no, no, no, no....Whyyyyyyyyyy,

It's not fair....(sob, sob, sob) noooooo (sob, sob, sob, sob)..." Yuugi couldn't break from

Jou's grip. They all knew that he would willing go outside despite the danger to bring Atemu

back.

"Easy Yuge, calm down..."

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN, MY LOVER IS DEAD! YAMI IS....(sob, sob, sob)!" Yuugi cried

now griping Jou back tightly and tensly.

"We all know how much you loved him, you feel horrible like it's the end of the world...We all

know how much you want to go back out there and bring him back but we don't want to lose

you too." Jou tried talking him out of going outside.

"He was afraid." Yuugi said. "That monster was scary to him....He's not afraid of anything.....

except that thing....I hate the Ammut...I hate Cleo, this is all her fault." Yuugi cried.

"I want to let you guys know now...Cleo's soul is inside Ammut....Why didn't he eat her soul?"

Yuugi wondered.

"She's louded with all these stones and treasure's that Yami gave her." Anzu said.

"If he was here he could tell us what he gave to her." Honda said.

"Shut up Honda." Jou leered at Honda. "You ok now little guy?" Jou loosened his grip on him.

"How can you ask me that?" Yuugi was offended and contiuosly crying. "I just lost my love."

"Sorry buddy." Jou said.

"I need to be alone now." Yuugi headed for the next cavern. The others just stayed where

they were. They didn't know what to do or say.

"Is he dead?" Anzu asked the others.

"There was no way he could of gotten away from that thing, did you see how big and fast

it was?" Honda asked.

"I can't believe he's gone." Anzu said.

"THIS IS BULL SHIT!" Seto got up and kicked a rock at the others.

"Calm down Seto." Jou said.

"YOU FUCKEN CALM DOWN, HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNEW THE WAY OUT OF THIS WORLD AND

NOW HE'S DEAD, WHAT A PERFECT FUCKING WASTE OF TIME AND IT'S ALL YUUGI'S FAULT!" Seto headed

to the cavern were Yuugi was sulking.

"Seto don't!" Jou got up and blocked him from going in there.

"BACK OFF MAN I'M GONNA KILL THAT LITTLE SON OF BITCH!" Seto grappled with Jou til he punched

his eye out.

"I said get away!" Jou said as Seto backed off while holding his eye.

"You can't protect him forever!" Seto said. "Yami couldn't!" Seto said also going to a separate cavern.
