Hello! Welcome all to another chapter of Nazo no Kisu - Extended Version. Thanks for all the hits
and reviews of this. I can't say it enough. I'm truly grateful! As we left of in the previous chapter,
Atemu had just been taken through the ringer by Yugi's mother.

Chapter 33: My Lonely Holiday

*Yugi's POV*
The one thing I was trying to prevent is what has happened. Me being alone for Christmas. I have
Seth and his family to be with me, but I wanted to be with Atemu for Christmas. That was the entire
purpose for me coming to Alexandria.

After I talked to Atemu, I went to sleep. Seth woke me up early saying that I have to get ready to go
to the family breakfast.

Didn't I tell him yesterday that I wasn't going?

"Yugi, your turban is wrapped now come on." Seth says to me as I follow him out the door.

I still haven't gotten used to this turban!

"Come on Yugi, you'll get used to it." he says as he finishes wrapping his own.

We all get in the car and Akunadin drives to the other side of town and into the driveway of a nice
2-story home.

"We're here!" Isis says as we all get out and walk up the path to the front door.

Taha knocks and the door opens. A LOT of Arabic is spoken between everyone...yea, except for me, I
have not the slightest idea what's being said.

A man who looks like an older Atemu, walks to me and looks closely at me.

I guess this is his grandfather.

"Hmmm, this looks like my grandson, but this does not look like my grandson. His eyes are too gentle."
he says as he unwraps my turban. "And his blond hair has fallen. Are you sure you're feeling well? I
hope that darn Yugi hasn't been a bad influence on you."

A chorus of laughter is heard as obaa-san hits him playfully on the head.

"You silly man. That is Yugi." she says. "Remember Akunumkanon told us that Atemu went back to
Japan."

"Ahh! I forgot! Forgive me Yugi! You're not a bad influence on him."

I laugh nervously. Yea, like it didn't show on my face...

"Come and talk with us. We haven't met formally yet." he says wrapping his arm around me as he and
his wife lead me upstairs into their office...I guess...

We sit in a chair and literally stare at each other.

They talk amongst themselves...in Arabic...

Well, they're not talking behind my back...

"So, you're the Yugi Mutou that my grandson is so much in love with."

"Yes, I am Ikhras-san."

"So sorry to be rude Yugi. My name is Mana Ikhras. My husband, Mahado is usually not so rude, but
it's just it's been almost 2 years and we've just met you."

"I apologize for that."

Interrogation? Yep, this has got to be it.

"Don't worry about that. Atemu didn't make any effort either towards getting you here. So, how are
you liking Alexandria?" Mana asks.

"I love it here. The city is beautiful." I reply. Even though it would shine more if Atemu was here.

"What made you fall in love with him?" asks Mahado.

I sigh...knowing exactly what to say, but not knowing how to say it...

"Kare no mono kisu..." I say before I know it and then look at their blank stares... "I...I...I mean his
kiss." I blurt out stupidly.

Why did I translate that?! I could have said something else... his smile, his charm, his personality,
his voice, his gaze that seems to hypnotizes you whenever you stare into those deep purple orbs...

"I'll be back Mahado. I'm going to get everything started and bring Yugi a plate."

"See you in a few Mana." He says then kisses his wife.

"Thank you Mana-san." I say as she walks out the door leaving me and Mahado-kun here....alone.

"Is that all that made you fall in love with him? Are you after him just for sex? If that's the case, he
could have stayed with Karim." he informs me.

Who the hell is Karim? I hope it was the one he was with before me...

"Atemu was really in love with Karim. His first love and lover."

Why is he telling me this?! I knew Atemu had been in a relationship before me, but never did I learn
his name, that is, until now. Atemu never talked much about it.

"Yugi?"

"Yes..." I reply very nervously.

"What was it about Atemu that caught to your heart and never let go?" he asks with a look that makes
Kaiba's ice glare look like a warm smile.

"I apologize for saying that his kiss was the thing, but it was. That's how we became us and what we
are now. He kissed me first and it felt like wildfire, yet so calm and sincere. Even to this day he makes
me feel that way when we do kiss. Over the time that I have gotten to know him, he has everything I
was looking for in a fe...mate..."

"So, how deep do you plan on taking this relationship? Just boyfriends? Engagement? Marriage? How
about if a female comes along and gives you everything Atemu could give you and more. What would
you do then?"

OK. I really wasn't expecting that question nor had I ever thought about us in that matter. I just want
the two of us to be together.

"Yugi, I know you're a strong independent-minded 18-yr-old, but you have to think is Atemu all you
really want in life. Do you really want to be in a gay relationship all your life. I know you probably
want kids someday. And for that to happen, you have to have a wife, a woman."

I feel the tears stroll down my face. He's telling the truth. I do want kids. At least 2. I want them to
know how it is to have siblings, something I've never had.

"I'm sorry for telling you this Yugi, but you have to face it one day." he says standing up and patting
me on the back.

"Mana will bring your food up here shortly." he says as I hear the door close.

How far do I really want this relationship to go with Atemu. He's bought up questions I've never
thought of asking or answering. Is he testing my love for Atemu? I don't know. I'm so confused
right now!

"Yugi?" I hear a soft voice call.

I quickly wipe my eyes and turn around.

"Don't pay any attention to him." Mana says as she places my food on the desk. "I know you love
Atemu."

Right now...does anything have any real meaning to it now?

"I'll leave this here for you. Come down whenever you're ready ok." she says as she shuts the door
leaving me alone.

Merry Christmas, Atemu.

*Domino City: Atemu's POV*
*YAWN* I slept well. I love sleeping in Yugi's bed. I would have loved it even more if he was laying
here next to me, or on top of me... Either one would be fine. I'm not picky right now. I just want to
feel his lips upon mine once again.

I sit up and looks around. There's some sunlight coming through the windows. Guess it's going to
be a sunny day today. I wish I could see it.

I hear the door open and turn my head towards it. Mrs. Mutou...

"Ohayo Atemu-kun."

"Ohayo Ashita-san."

"Is everything ok? Have to go to the bathroom?"

"Maybe. In a minute."

It's a bit embarassing. I'm 18. At a time I should be independent from parents...from adults and
becoming an adult myself, I'm literally struck back to infancy.

I sit up and feel my way to standing position. Ashita leads me to the bathroom where I do my
business.

"You need me to run some water in the tub for you?"

"Yes, please." I say sitting back on the bed.

"We're having breakfast after while. Anything special you want?" she asks as I hear the water being
turned on.

Yugi.

"Iya. Whatever you make will be fine."

"Jounouchi and Kaiba are coming over also."

Why?!

"I hope the three of you can get along once again."

Those were the two who did this to me!

"Come on." Ashita says as she takes my hand.

We go into the bathroom and I feel something behind me.

"You can sit on this."

I sit slowly onto the object...a chair I guess. The water turns off.

"You need me to step out while you get undressed?" she asks.

"It doesn't matter." I say taking off my shirt and pants.

"Ok. It's not like I've never seen a naked male before. I do have a husband and a son your age." She
says laughing.

I feel Ashita's hand on mine, helping me into the tub.

"Here's some soap and a towel. Call me when you're done."

"Arigatou."

Ahhh, a nice warm bath. Just what I needed. I wish Aibou was here to bathe with me like we used to. I
really miss him. So close, yet still so very far away from each other.

*knock knock*

Huh?!

"Who's there?"

"Jounouchi."

"Kaiba."

Take a deep breath Atemu...don't kill yourself or them...

"Come in." I say as nicely as possible.

"Ohayo. Glad to have you back in Domino City once again Atemu." greets Jou.

"Thanks."

"How are you feeling?" asks Kaiba.

Sympathy is in the air...

"I'm doing great."

I wish Aibou was here to kick them out.

"I hate to be rude, but why are your eyes so glossy like that?"

"I'm 75% blind Jounouchi."

I hear the two gasp, not knowing of my condition.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Can you have surgery to heal yourself?" asks Kaiba.

"No. I can't Kaiba. My eyes are extremely sensitive to laser light of any kind. If exposed to it, then I
may go 100% blind."

"My family vision doctor may be able to help to regain some of your sight."

"Yea, that guy who did Shizuka's surgery. He may be able to help."

Wrinkly...

"Ahem. Can I get some help here? As much as I hate to ask from the two of you."

They help me out the tub and into some clean clothes.

The three of us go downstairs and to the dining room where I smell waffles, eggs, and bacon.

"I was just getting ready to come back up and get you Atemu." Ashita says.

I get my food and eat.
