Nazo no Kisu (Mysterious Kiss) - Extended Version
Chapter 32 is among us. I hope that everyone likes the idea that I decided to take this fic on a bit
further instead of just stopping it at their deaths. This was my original idea to take he story on like
this, but when I got to Chapter 29, my mind went blank and I couldn't think of anything, but to let
them die. Oh well. Anyways, Yugi and Atemu get POV duties until Yugi gets back to Domino City.
Chapter 32: Apart
*Yugi's POV*
No way... I don't believe this.
"Come in Yugi." Akunumkanon says as he picks up my bags.
I walk in and sit on the sofa. How could this have happened. I'm here in Egypt...without Atemu.
New Years. That's when I can see him again.
"Yugi?! Yugi!" yells Seth, snapping me out of my trance-like state. "Don't you dare go into another
depression here."
I laugh.
"I won't. It's just I don't know how this could have happened. Atemu told me that he wouldn't be able
to reutrn until New Years. So I decided to come here and to spend time with him so we could return
to Domino City together."
"Apparently, it looks like you didn't tell him that. He didn't tell you that he's completely cured of
Death's Toll. He still has to return here for one week in December to get the Rose Bloom medicine."
Seth informs me.
"Yugi, you are more than welcome to sleep in Atemu's room. He wouldn't mind." Isis says.
"Thank you."
Seth helps me take my bags to Atemu's room. I'd been in here before, but it was only for a short
time. I sit on his bed and open one of my suitcases.
"Atemu gave me this to wear when I go out." I say taking the turban and cloth from the bag and
putting it on the bed.
"Do you remember how to put it on?" asks Seth.
"No..."
"I can help you if you wish."
"Thanks, but I don't plan on going anywhere..."
"Well, we're going to the family Christmas celebration in the morning. Are you going?"
"Nah..."
"You'll have a chance to meet the grandparents and the rest of the Ikhras family."
"I don't know..."
"Awww, come on Yugi. Don't be like that!"
"I wonder if Atemu is in Domino yet?"
He looks at me as I look at the telephone.
"Here," he says handing me a phone card and the telephone. "Call and see."
*Atemu's POV*
How could this have happened? I mean...I know I didn't tell him that I was coming back here...
Damn, something told me to tell him.
"We're sorry about that Atemu." Mrs. Mutou says. "Come on, let's go."
They help me with my bags and we leave the airport.
When we get to their residence, they help me up to Yugi's room.
"He wouldn't mind you staying here until he comes home on New Years Eve." Mr. Mutou says
to me.
"If you need anything at all from us Atemu, just let us know." adds Mrs. Mutou.
"Wait...I want to talk to Yugi."
I hear the phone being picked up.
"What's the number?" Mrs. Mutou asks.
I give her the phone number. The reciever is placed to my ear as the phone rings.
"Hello."
"Um. I made it here safely. I'm here at Yugi's home."
"Ibn, I'm glad you're safe. Speaking of Yugi, he is here."
"Really?! May I speak with him please?!"
"Hold on."
I'm put on hold as mom gets Yugi.
"Hello?"
"Aibou!"
"Atemu! I'm glad to hear from you!"
"Me too. I'm sorry. I should have told you that I was coming back to Domino City."
"No Atemu. I should have told you that I was coming there to spend Christmas with you. Now we
have to wait untl New Years to see each other."
"That's ok Aibou. One more week apart will only strengthen our love for each other even more."
I can tell he's smiling...what I wouldn't give to see that smile.
"I really wish I could see you Aibou."
"Don't worry about that. I'll be back in Domino on New Years. So you just stay put until then ok."
"Aibou, I'm 75% blind. I can't go too far." I say laughing.
"I guess I forget that."
We talk much longer until Yugi says it's 3:02am. I guess it's 10:02am here.
"Atemu, would you like some breakfast?" asks Mrs. Mutou.
"Yes, I would. Thank you."
She takes my hand and helps me downstairs to the kitchen. Mmm. Waffles and bacon. Aibou's
favorite.
I eat my food and go into the living room.
"Atemu."
"Yes, Mrs. Mutou?"
Why is she sounding like that? I can tell we're alone. I can't detect the presence of anyone else.
"I just want to talk to you about Yugi."
"Is there something wrong with him?" I ask. Hopefully not. I would die for my love.
"Tell me how you truly feel about my son."
Huh... Where is this coming from?!
"I know he's 18 years old now and he can make his own decisions, but I just want to know how you
feel about him. It's amazing how the two of you have been in school together since elemantary, but
the two of you have never really talked until a year ago."
What is she trying to figure out? Is my love for him real? It's 100% authentic!
"Ashita-san, I truly love Yugi with all of my heart. I am willing to give up anything to be with him. For
his safety, I am even willing to give up my own life in exchange for his."
"Anyone can say that. Example, I can say I love my husband, but it may not mean a single thing."
"Are you questioning my love for him?"
"Are you? I'm only performing a test."
"My love for him is not to be questioned. All that Yugi and I have been through together. He's been
there for me and with me even with I was on the brink of death! He is the one that makes my day go
by just a bit easier and much better. He is the one that I would do anything for! The fact is that no
one will or ever take my heart from him. It's is his for the making or breaking."
I feel the tears swell in my eyes.
"He makes me so happy! Happy to be alive!"
I feel a pair of arms wrap around me.
"I know I shouldn't have questioned your love Atemu. But sometimes you seem like you're just a
mirage. It's just you've been too good to him. I just wanted to be sure you're on the right page and
you are."
"Arigatou."

There's Chapter 32. It's just a filler. The next chapter will be somewhat of a filler too. So stay tuned
