When we hurt the ones we love the most
That morning Yuugi awoke alone and cold in the bed.
"Where did he go?" Yuugi said sadly. "I wanted to
tell him.." Yuugi was interupted by the the cabin door
suddenly swinging open.
"More lies?" Atemu said suspiciously. He had one hand
hidden behind his back. Yuugi got out of the bed quickly
and walked over to him.
"I wasn't lying to you, please listen to me, I have to tell
you what you need to know." Yuugi hugged Atemu but he
felt something long and sharp go into his shoulder near
his heart. Blood dripped down the corner of his mouth.
Atemu instantly realized he made a mistake. He felt the
pain shock through his body. He felt bad for hurting him
like that. He pulled the knife out of his back and dropped it
on the floor. Yuugi wrapped around Atemu. "Please help me."
Blood spat on Atems clothes as Yuugi spoke.
"She was lying, your the one telling me the truth. I can tell
now...You don't seem to be the kind of person that would
trick another. But that woman was a real bitch."
"You saw (Cough) Cleo" Yuugi's eyes were growing dark. "She's
evil."
"I'm so sorry young man, I'll help you." Atemu placed Yuugi back
into the bed and tended his wound. First he took off his shirt then
wiped the wound with a face cloth from Yuugi's pocket. "It didn't go
to deep, just peirced the skin and some muscle." Atemu lay next to
him feeling guilty and hurt about being tricked into hurting someone
who was just trying to help him. "Are you alright?" Atemu asked.
"I'm fine, I just need to rest. You better do the same, you still look
exausted."
"I am." Atemu rested his face againsts Yuugi's. Somehow it felt familiar
to be with him. It felt wrong to be with that woman. "She's evil?"
"Yes, but we aren't." Yuugi sighed. "You don't remember this
but your the one who was supposed to help us find the way out
of this place."
"I can't remember." Atemu cried. A hot tear trailed down Atemu's face
and tapped Yuugi's eye.
"We'll wait for the others, they might have an Idea." Yuugi said.
"We wait then." Atemu rubbed Yuugi's back up and down trying to
eas the pain from the wound he inflicted out of slight madness.
"Sleep with me now." Yuugi fell asleep. Atemu watched the sweet
boy fall into a deep sleep. He too soon fall asleep.
