Welcome one and all to the Authoress Chapter!
This summer has been dedicated to the love of Seto Kaiba and Katsuya Jounouchi. For
some reason, I love the two of them together and writing fics about them.
The reason I chose the pairing of Kaiba and Jou is because they have this authentic love
for each other and relationship between each other that further elevates their passion and
lust for each other.
I love depicting Kaiba's 'human' side. Even though he sometimes seems hard and unreal,
he's truly a softie underneath.
The idea for Kiyomaru, Kaiba's son actually came from life...my boyfriend does have a child
from a previous relationship. As for the name of 'Kiyomaru', it's the full name of Kiyo from
Zatch Bell...and the only name I could think of at the time. :)
This fic, Independence is the last one I started before school started back.
Independence holds an extremely special and personal meaning to me.
A lot of the fic (mostly the beginning) is based on parts from my diary, except I added a lot of
stuff for character development and subtracted a lot of stuff for personal protection. ;)
Jou 'acts' as me and Kaiba 'acts' as my boyfriend. Keep in mind that I had to adjust a LOT of
stuff to accomodate to their situations.
Ages are true to the ages of me, my boyfriend, and the people around us. He is 6 years older than
me and we graduated from different high schools. We had never seen or heard of each other before
he was with his sister (who used to work with me).
Literally speaking, this fic is somewhat of a reflection of the last 4 years of my life.
The 'college' chapters and beyond have no relation to me or my diary. All of that is made up. Well,
unless you could Jou's classes...then yea, you have my schedules.
Favorites:
It's kind of hard to do, because every time I spend with my boyfriend is my favorite! But since I do
this for EVERY fic, I have to choose. :(
1. Their first kiss!! -- I'm so tingly inside right now :)
2 Jou and Kaiba's first yaoi scene in the hotel -- What sweet memories that still brings to me.
3. San-mono! -- Threesomes are awesome no matter who's involved!
4. Jou's video for Kaiba's birthday. -- Pant, pant, pant...
5. Jou and Kaiba's shower scene -- Two sexy bodies in the shower...with all the water beading... *drool
Well, some of you may be thinking that this fic is too much into my life, but really if you think about
it, it's best to write relating to your life. It makes it a little easier for story line and plot development.
I think that's all I have to say. Wait, no I don't.
