The Nightmare!

Konichiwa! Welcome to the 30th and final chapter of The Nightmare! I hope that each and every one of

Chapter 30: Final Battle *Reader's POV*

A merged Anzu and Dream Clown stare the ten men down.

"Hmph, this should be easy enough! Look at you, you all are nothing more than worthless humans,
hikari, and spritis. You gay freaks get on my nerves! I wish you all dead!" the Anzu-Clown hybrid
yells to them.

"Look at it! It's ugly! I'm glad Shizuka isn't here to see it!" Jou says pointing at the thing.

"Hey Kura, how do you suggest we handle this thing?" Marik asks him.

"Hell I don't know. First, tell me what it is, and then maybe I can give you some advice." Bakura
replies.

"Heh, I'm only your worst nightmare! I can and will destroy you all from the in out out!"

The hybrid begins to chant something. Instead of waiting around to see what it's about to do, Kaiba
attacks it. When he got close, an invincible shield knocks him back.

"Seto Kaiba!" the hybrid suddenly says.

Kaiba looks straight ahead for a moment, then he grabs his head.

"Seto? Are you alright? Seto? Seto!" Jou yells, but little does he know, Seto Kaiba is in his worst
nigtmare.

~The Nightmare~
As others try to comfort and console Kaiba, he sees and hears them in an entirely different light.

"Heh, it's no wonder Mokuba hates him. He's always so caught up in himself! And believe me
guys, I know that first hand!" Jou's voice says.

"No, he doesn't hate me! My little brother loves me, and I love him even more!" Kaiba yells.

"What's he going on about?" Yugi asks.

"I dont't know. It's like he's been possessed!" Yami replies.

"Seto? Snap out of it!" Jou says slapping him.

Kaiba looks up and tears fall from his eyes. Jou looks towards the hybrid and it's still chanting.

"Look you freak, what did you do to him?" Jou asks angrily.

"Katsuya Jounouchi!" it suddenly says.

Moments later, Jou becomes the same way Kaiba is.

~The Nightmare~

"How can someone like Seto Kaiba stand to be anywhere near you Jou?" Honda's voice asks.

"Because, he loves me. Seto Kaiba loves me." Jou says confidently.

"But tell me this Jou, how can he love someone, when he's still paying other males and females to
sleep with him. You know it's the truth, so stop denying it!" Yugi's voice says.

"Heh, you inu!" Kaiba's voice says.

"Get away, get away from me!!" Jou yells at the top of his lungs, sending a powerful echo throughout
the Realm.

"Heh, well how did you like that performance? That was only just the beginning because I plan to trap
each and every one of you in your nightmares, your worst fears! Then and only then you will all meet
your impending doom!" the hybrid says laughing.

"There has to be a way to destroy it!" Otogi says to them.

The hybrid chants again.

"Who could it be this time?" Yami exclaims.

"Marik Ishtar!" The hybrid suddenly says.

Everyone looks at Marik who is now laughing at the hybrid.

"It's not affecting him..." the hybrid says shocked.

"Oh, my bad? Was that supposed to hurt?" Marik asks now holding the Sen'nin Rod.

The Rod glows with a read aura.

"Heh, you think that such a sumple spell can overcome the power of the Sen'nin Rod?

Marik walks over to Kaiba, who is now curled into a ball crying. Kaiba looks up then flinches
at Marik's rare, friendly smile.

"Ma...rik?" Kaiba says wiping his eyes.

Marik helps Kaiba to stand and then hands him the Sen'nin Rod. Kaiba's attire changes.

"Priest." Marik says bowing slightly to him.

"Well, whoop-te-doo! Should I be scared now?" the hybrid says.

"Marik why did you...?" Yami asks but he looks to see Malik now standing with them.

"Look here guys, we have to stop that thing!" Bakura yells.

Seth looks at the hybrid and says, "Pharoah, Robber, come."

He holds up the Sen'nin Rod. It looks much different. It has lost the 'ears', and it truly
looks like a rod.

"Kura?" Malik says running by his side, "I want to come with you."

"Iya! This will be a very dangerous situation! Stay here and take care!" Seth says as he
heals Jou.

The three ancients walks to the hybrid and Seth takes them to a sacred void.

"Hey...umm...Seth? Any particular reason we're here?" Kura asks.

"The others, they don't need to be involved in this. Or anywhere close where they could
possible be hurt." Seth says.

"Yes, you're right. Thanks for bringing us here, but now it's time we put a stop to this
menace once and for all!" Yami says.

"What could you three possibly do to stop me now? With the combined powers of Anzu and
I, we're virtually unstoppable!" brags the hybrid.

"Dream Clown, you were once banishere bre by me long ago. I should haveled led you then,
but this time, we won't make that mistake and spare your pathetic life! Yami says confidently.

"Well then, bring it!" the hybrid says attacking the three.

It moved so swiftly, that they didn't even feel him,n itn it initially hit them.

"Heh, do you think you actually have what it takes to face me sssfussfully?" The hybrid says.

He clapped his hands once and the 3 fell down in intense pain.

"Damn...I don't even feel it hit me!" Seth says.

"Me either...but my body, it hurts everywhere!" Yami says painfully.

"I only hit the three of you once in a spot on your body that causes each and every muscle in
your body to spasm." the hybrid says laughing. "What I should have done was kill you all! But
then again, that wouldn't have been too much fun, now would it? The loner I get to see the three
of your suffer, the happier and more worth while this all becomes! I would spare you if, and only if
you surrender your items!"

"Never...you bastard!" Yami says slowly standing to his feet.

"What? There 's no way that you should be able to move. That blow should have paralyzed you!"

Slowly, but surely, Seth and Bakura also stand to their feet.

"What you don't understand..." (Seth)
"...is the power..." (Bakura)
"...of the Sen'nin Items!" (Yami)

Their items glow in unison and blast the hybrid. Seth, Yami and Bakura walk slowly towards the
fallen hybrid. Seth unsheaths the dagger inside the Rod.

"I fully understand the power of the Sen'nin Items, but tell me, do you understand me bringing
the others into this?" the hybrid says disappearing.

Seth thrust the dagger towards the hybrid, but hit nothingness.

"Damn!" Seth yells.

"Let's go!" Bakura says.

The others are wandering around looking for the four, until the hybrid appears.

"Did ya miss me?" it asks them.

"Hell no!" yells Jou.

The hybrid chants once more...

By the time the other arrive, it's too late. It has trapped the minds of Yugi, Jou, Malik, Honda,
Otogi, and Jou in their worst nightmares.

"Not this again!" yells Bakura.

The hybrid turns around to see the three standing behind him.

"Whell tll the three of you realize that I am destined to take the Sen'nin Items from you and
you will all perish once and forever. Just like Marik!"

"Marik has not perished. He is right here." Seth says holding up the Sen'nin Rod.

Marik's sinister face flashes in front of the hybrid.

"Ahh, why should I be worried?? It's only just an image, a shadow, no...it's just a ghost of what
he used to be!" the hybrid says laughing.

The Rod glows and a burst on energy knocks the hybrid back.

"What the heck was that?!" the hybrid yells.

He feels his body and finds that one of his arms is gone.

"Heh, it was a very powerful spirit and there are 2 more where that came from." Yami says laughing.

The hybrid stands to its feet.

"Pharoah, do you know anything t ret regeneration?" the hybrid asks.

Yami looks at the hybrid as it recreates the missing arm.

"How can we defeat something that can regenerate itself at will!?" says Bakura...a little nervous about
their situation.

"That's the point you stupid robber, there is no way to defeat me!"

"If we try an attack from different angles, then maybe it would work." Yami suggests.

The three use their Sen'nin Items and attack the hybrid at one time. The hybrid is covered with holes and
is now looking at them.

"Was that all?" the thing says to them, regenerating his body.

The three look at the hybrid in defeat.

"Is there anything we can do to stop it??" Seth asks.

-You can do it!-

Seth turns to Seto for a moment and says, "Jou?!"

Seth turns around to see Jou and the others unconscious.

-Do it for me, my koi!-

Yami looks towards Yugi, who is laying near Malik.

"That...how could it have been?" Yami asks.

The bodies begin to glow and the three look at them, not knowing what to do.

"What's going on?!" Kura asks them.

"What is the meaning of this?!" The hybrid asks.

Kura, Seth, and Yami look at the hybrid, who now looks weakened.

-Attack it now! Hit the nose.- Jou and Yugi say together.

They look at them for a moment, then nod in agreement.

"What's happening to me?! Why? Why can't I regenerate myself?! What the hell could
those no good hikari have done to me?!" the hybrid yells in agony.

"I don't understand, but whatever is happening is giving us the perfect opportunity to
crush this bastard!" Yami tells Kura and Seth.

They aim their items towards the hybrid and focus all of their powers, their energies into
this blow, hoping that once and for all, they will be free of this menace forever.

*Yami's Thoughts*
Yami and Yugi are sitting on their bed watching TV.

'Aibou? What's wrong with you?' Yami asks.

'Nothing. It's just that...for some odd reason or another, I've been having these...feelings...'

'Feelings? What kind of feelings? You know you can tell me anything.' Yami says moving
closer to his other self.

'It's weird and all Yami, but should it be this way?'

'What's weird, aibou? I can't answer your question if you don't tell me what those feelings
are.'

'Ok then...close your eyes.'

Yami closed his eyes.

'What are you doing? Is it a surprise??' Yami asks.

Yugi moves closer to him and kisses him softly, but quickly on the lips. Yami opened his eyes,
and looked at Yugi who is now turned away from him.

'No, there's nothing weird about it.' Yami says turning Yugi's head towards him and smiling into
his flushed-red face.

"This is for you, aibou!" Yami says trying to release as much energy as he possibly could.

*Seth's Thoughts*

Seto and Jou are having one of their classic insult-sessions with one another. Yugi, Honda, and
Anzu get tired of their bickering and walk away.

A minute or so later, Seto and Jou laugh.

'I thought they were never going away.' Seto says.

'Me either.' Jou says still laughing.

'Hey, are you coming over later?' Seto asks him.

'Of course. I wouldn't miss you for the world!' Jou says getting up.

'Ok, I'll see you around 7 then.' Seto says standing.

They kiss and walk seperate ways home.

"I will do this for you Seto Kaiba and Katsuya Jounouchi."

*Kura's Thoughts* 'Kur'Kura...get me down from here. What have I done now?' Ryou pleads with his yami as he is
dangling, tied to the ceiling by his hands.

Kura walks closer to Ryou with a whip in his hand.

'You've been a very BAD hikari and you must be punished for this!' Kura says ripping Ryou's
clothes from his body.

'Mmm...look at that, looks so tempting.' Kura says walking closer to Ryou and engulfing
his shaft.

'Ku...Kura! What...are you doing!?' Ryou wimpers to him.

Kura sucks and whips Ryou until he releases all over his face.

'I've always wanted to do that to you.' Kura says releasing Ryou from his bounds.

'Heh, I wanted you to do that too.' Ryou says jumping atop of Kura and kissing him.

"For you, Ryou." Kura says.

The energy from their Sen'nin Items become stronger until they seperate Dream Clown and Anzu.
Dream Clown is destroyed in the blast and Anzu is laying on the ground unconscious.

The three ancients collapse as they have used up most of their energy.

"It's...finally gone." Yami says trying to catch his breath.

Moments later, the others awaken and look towards the three, still in their ancient form. Seth hands
Malik the Sen'nin Rod and changes to Seto. He goes over to be near Jou.

"Let's go home." Otogi says, rubbing his head.

"Ugh...where am I?" Anzu says groggily.

The others stand up, shocked that she is actually still alive.

"Uh...oh...." Anzu says, realizing that she is in deep shit.

Marik's spirit emerges from the rod. He is now in his ancient attire.

"Did you think that I would let you guys have ALL the fun, now did you?" Marik says unsheathing the
dagger inside the Rod and stabbing Anzu in the heart.

"What...are you doing to me...??" Anzu whines, trying to pull the dagger from her heart.

She tries to touch the Rod, but it shocks her.

"Doing something that should have been done a LONG time ago!" Honda replies to her.

Marik chants and the dagger sends a curse throughout her body.

"...you gay freaks!" Anzu yells just before combusting...never to be seen or heard from ever again.
