The One
Chapter 3: The One
“Find me the one who can hold my soul.” The ghost demanded. “Find me the soul holder or I will…” She paused in midsentence, smiling to herself, before laughing to herself. “Well it appears I have already found the one. It is now time for me to join with the one and get revenge on those who have wronged me after I always get what I want.”
With that said she disappeared and the room returned to its previous state. Just in time too, as the door was broken down and the police poured into the room.
“Alright, nobody move. Mr. Shaklferd, you are under arrest for carrying a concealed weapon, holding hostages, and for attempted murder.” The police chief said.
The police took Shaklferd into custody and took him away before signaling for the paramedics to enter the room. The paramedics went straight over to Yami and loaded him onto a stretcher and putting him on oxygen.
A few minutes later one of the paramedics turned to Yugi and said, “Are you, Yugi Mouto?”
“Yes, is Yami going to be okay?” Yugi asked.
“Well, yes. We’re going to take him into the hospital and get the bullet out, but this whole situation could have been a lot worse if you hadn’t kept him warm, but you did a good job on that so he should be alright. He seems to already be healing.” The paramedic said before turning to go back to the ambulance, but stopped. “I’m sorry, but only you’re going to be able to ride with him to the hospital.”
“Alright,” Yugi turned to the others. “I’ll call you all tomorrow or tonight sometime if I get a chance and let you guys know how Yami is.”
“Okay, Yugi, just don’t worry yourself to death.” Tea said concerned.
“I’ll be okay, and so will Yami thanks to you, Joey. I’ll call you guys.” Yugi said going and getting into the ambulance.
