Chapter 3
“Man I cant believe I only got a few hours sleep” Joey said to himself why walking to school and yawning along the way. “Hey Joey wait up” Yugi ran up to him “hey Yug” Joey then yawned again. “God Joey you look terrible” Yugi said to him looking a little concerned for his best friend. “I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night and now I feel like crap” Joey told Yugi “well of course you feel like crap because that is what you are after all” someone said from behind them.
Joey and Yugi turned around and their standing before them was the tall blue eyed brunette Seto Kaiba. “Oh yeah well at least I’m not a fag” Joey replied and just walked of pulling Yugi along with him. Kaiba watched the blonde walk into the school grounds and just smiled.

“In the year of the Roman war” Joey started to block out his teacher from talking about some Roman war that happened centuries ago. ‘Not only is Mr Hiroshi strict but he is such a boring teacher as well’ Joey thought to himself.
Mr Hiroshi was still reading from the history book when he head some snoring coming from the back of the class. He closed the book and walked up to the back of the classroom until he reached the source of the snoring. Mr Hiroshi stood in front of Joey’s desk looking at him with very angry eyes.
Joey was mumbling words in his sleep about food, “MR WHEELER” Joey shot up when he heard his name being called out. He looked up and saw an angry Hiroshi looking straight at him. ‘Shit’ Joey was deffiently in for it now “would you like to explain to me why you where sleeping in my class” Mr Hiroshi asked. Joey’s heart was beating so fast and everybody was staring at him which wasn’t making things any easier.
“I am sorry Mr Hiroshi but I didn’t get very much sleep last night” he told his teacher ‘and that your class is so boring’ he said in his head. “Mr Kaiba”, “yes sir” Kaiba replied “please take Mr Wheeler to the lunch grounds and make sure he picks up every piece of trash on the ground” he told Kaiba. “Before you go I think it would be wise to get some plastic gloves from the infirmary” Mr Hiroshi told them. Both boys stood up and left the classroom ‘well this is all I need’ Joey thought to himself.

Once Joey got the plastic gloves from the infirmary both him and Kaiba headed towards the lunch grounds. Joey was caring a bin in one hand and picking up trash with the other, Kaiba was just finding this amusing. “You know you could at least help” Joey said to him, “sorry but this is your punishment I am nothing but the bystander” Kaiba replied. “Bystander, man cant you just talk like a normal teenager” Joey told him.
After ten minutes Joey needed a rest it was just two hot and the sun was getting to him. “What are you doing” Kaiba said watching Joey sit down on a bench. “I’m resting you moron its to bloody hot out here” Joey replied.
Kaiba sat down next to him and they both sat their in total silence even though they both couldn’t forget what happened the other day. It seemed as if neither one of them wanted to talk about it well especially Joey. The blonde didn’t get a lot of sleep not just because he had worked late and that he had to do his homework. By the time he had finished it was only 12:45am but when he went to bed all he could think about was that kiss.
Every time he closed his eyes it would always come up in his mind, Joey finally got to sleep at around 4am in the morning. Then having to get up at 7am wasn’t good because he only got three hours of sleep, Joey deffiently blamed Kaiba for that.
Joey yawned and Kaiba noticed “so didn’t get much sleep huh mutt” Kaiba said “for your information that is none of your business” Joey told him. “Besides why would you care” Joey asked him. “Who said I did” Kaiba replied, the silence was soon getting to Joey so he deiced to ask Kaiba something which he really didn’t want to.
“I know I’m going to regret saying this but I have to get it of my chest before I go crazy” Joey said. Kaiba looked at him “Kaiba tell me something why, why did you kiss me yesterday” Joey asked him.
Kaiba then looked away when Joey faced him this time “you are right you will regret saying that” Kaiba just said. “Tell me please surly there is an explanation on why you did it” Joey really wanted an answer now. “To answer your question I only did it because of my own senseless reasons” Kaiba told him. “Your own senseless reasons, WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN” and Joey stood up in front of the brunette. “You think it is just okay to just kiss any one without a reason, you don’t even understand how that stunt of yours makes me feel being kissed by another guy and on top of that by my enemy did you even think what kind of situation you have put me in” Joey told him.
“You think that what I did was unthinkable then tell me mutt why didn’t you push me away” Kaiba asked him. “What”, “when I kissed you, you didn’t use any force what so ever, so I don’t think you should be angry just at me but also at yourself” the brunette told him. “what you think I enjoyed that don’t let it get to you for I had no pleasure in that kiss what so ev” and before he could finish the sentence a pair of lips where on his own. Kaiba had heard enough and he thought the only way to shut him up is to kiss him. Of course there are other ways but this was the only one that quickly came up in his head.
Kaiba deepened the kiss and Joey just stood their allowing him to do so even though he knew that it was so wrong. Joey had just been arguing about this situation just a minute ago and now it was happening all over again. ‘Why am I not pushing away is it because I cant move or is it something else’ Joey thought to himself. He then started to slowly close his eyes because he felt like he was floating. Feeling Kaiba’s lips on his was making him lose self-control and before he knew it Joey had put his arms around Kaiba’s neck.
Tea was walking around a corner when she couldn’t believe what she just saw. “Oh my god” Tea quietly said to herself. She just stood their keeping out of sight and watching the two boys in a locked kiss. “I cant believe Kaiba is kissing Joey and that Joey is even letting him” she said to herself. Both boys didn’t even notice anyone was watching them because they thought they where the only ones since every one else was in class. It seemed that Tea had been asked to collect something and she decided to take the long way since the subject she was learning was so boring.
“What am I going to tell the others and should I tell them” Tea asked herself, she couldn’t watch them anymore and ran of. Joey and Kaiba pulled away from one another “why” Joey was so confused. Kaiba stroked a strand out of Joey’s face and smiled “I guess that fate has different plans for you and I” Kaiba told him. Kaiba then reached out his hand hoping that Joey would grab it. Joey looked at the offering hand knowing that his rival was doing this because it seemed that he wanted him. ‘Is that why Kaiba kissed me because he had fallen for me’ Joey thought to himself.
Joey looked at Kaiba ‘am I the same, have I fallen for him is that why I couldn’t forget that kiss’ he then thought. ‘There is only one way to find out’ and he slowly grabbed Kaiba’s hand and smiled at him.

After school Tea was walking alone with Yugi but she wasn’t even saying anything which wasn’t like her. “Tea is their something wrong you have been quiet ever since lunch” Yugi asked her. “Yugi what if I told you something which you would probably believe was even possible” she asked him. “Well with all the stuff that we have been through with the pharaoh I’m sure I can believe anything” Yugi told her.
Tea stopped in her tracks “well I saw something today which I couldn’t believe would ever happen” she started saying. “Just tell me what it is Tea” Yugi said, “I saw Joey and Kaiba doing” it was just to hard to say. “Yeah you saw Joey and Kaiba doing what” Yugi was feeling a little impatient.
“Kissing Yugi I saw them kissing” Tea finally came out and said it “kissing, Tea are you sure it wasn’t just someone else” Yugi asked. “No, it was deffiently Joey and Kaiba and I’m telling you Yugi I know what I saw” she replied. “Well even if its true we have no right to interfere” Yugi told her. “Yugi how can you just say that what will the others think if they find out” Tea said to him. “Then we will keep it between us I am sure this will be hard for Joey to realize what he will be getting himself into but I will support him in any way I can and I hope you will to Tea” he told her.

In a small warehouse their was a secret laboratory underneath, “Marko are you sure it is wise to keep this experiment in action” one of his colleagues asked. “Yes I am sure Ken besides we will make millions once this is finally complete” he told him. “I know that sir but as Mr Kaiba doesn’t want anything to do with it anymore maybe we should just leave it” Ken said. “Tell me why do you wish to end this assignment” Marko asked him.
“I don’t mean to go against you sir but surly their must have been something that made Mr Kaiba not want any part of it anymore especially since this was his idea” Ken replied. “I don’t care what Seto thinks but I will not let an opportunity like this be flushed down the toilet after all these years of hard work besides cant you see the magnificent effect this will give to gay men all over the world, which want children of their own instead of adopting we will make thousands or even millions have something they so wished for” Marko told his subordinate.
“Yes sir” Ken replied still a bit worried but it was Marko’s choice now since he was in charge and not Kaiba anymore. ‘Why did you decide to leave Mr Kaiba’ Ken thought to himself why walking away.
