Darkness was the first thing that met him when he opened his eyes, "What the...?" It took Mokuba a few moments to remember where he was, "I should find Seto..." Not that he knew why he was talking to himself. He pulled on his pants slowly, realizing that he had left his shirt downstairs. He ran his hands through his hair, hopefully looking presentable, before heading downstairs in search of his brother.

Seto was still sitting in the room he had dubbed 'their' room, where all the important things happened between them, and nursing a bottle. Several empty bottles sat neatly on the table.

Something told him that Seto was probably in this room. "I figured..you'd be...here." His hands dropped to his sides when he noticed what was in Seto's hand, and then the empty bottles on the table. A mix of emotions ran through him before his mind settles on anger. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"g'tin ridda th'achlol..." Seto slurred drunkenly. "Wansum...? Th'rs stilll..." He held up the bottle he held and squinted at it. "Alitle left..."

The normal storm in his eyes transformed into a hurricane as he stormed across the room. His hand wrapped tightly around the bottle and he pulled it out of his hand. "You told me you weren't going to drink...You told me Isono was going to take car of this!" He yelled, throwing the bottle down to the ground. He felt the contents spill over his feet, shards of glass scattering everywhere.

Seto frowned as he struggled and managed to sit up. "You broke it!" he said. "I wuz... but... itwuz here an..."

"I told you I'm not going to be Isono." Mokuba shook his head, looking at Seto with disgust. "You told me you wouldn't do this..." He repeated.

The brunet looked up at him for a moment with cloudy blue eyes. "Msorrrry...." he mumbled, reaching out to take a hold of him.

"Don't touch me..." Mokuba shook his head, stepping back away from Seto, "You made your choice Seto...You chose your fucking addiction over me." Mokuba walked to the door, eyes burning from the salty tears he wanted to let fall. "Drink up. I'm not coming back." Mokuba said, a cold calm in his voice as he looked back to Seto briefly before stepping out of the room.

"No!" Seto yelled, and tried to get up, but he was too drunk, and only ended up falling. He hit his head and either passed out or knocked himself out.

Isono was passing with a couple empty bottles bound for the recycling as he heard that, and frowned slightly, saying nothing and either waiting for an explanation or Mokuba to tell him to move on.

Mokuba looked up at him, eyes red from holding back tears. "Get him before he hurts himself," was all he said before moving on through the hallways.

"Mokuba-sama," Isono said from behind him. "Wait." He picked Seto up, frowning a the bottles, and carried him back out to take him to his room. "May I speak with you?"

Mokuba didn't turn around, fairly certain Isono was carrying Seto and that was not something he needed to see. "What could you possibly have to say to me?" He asked quietly.

"I'd like to ask you to reconsider leaving," Isono said, moving past Mokuba to continue to the stairs. "He needs you."

"Clearly he only needs his bottle," Mokuba scoffed

"I don't believe you know how hard it is to give up an addiction," Isono said. "It can't happen all at once."

"I can't deal with him if he's going to be this way." Mokuba said, motioning to Seto's limp body in the man's arms. "I have an entire family worth of problems to deal with."

"I know that. He will be able to stop, in time, but he'll need help, some of which I can provide, and some of which no one but you can. But it's more than his drinking..."

"He told me that you controlled his drug problem, are you going to tell me that was a lie?"

"No; I never even intended to tell you about that. It's over with. But, if you haven't been able to tell... he's going insane."

"Aren't addicts always insane?" Mokuba questioned. He knew it was probably more then this, and he finally turned to face Isono completely, "Give me the details..."

Isono silently carried Seto to his room and laid him on the bed. "You haven't been able to tell?"

"I can assume a few things, but I'm not entirely sure...I suppose it is my fault though," he muttered, looking down at Seto with pity.

"He needs you. As I said, it's hard to give up an addiction..."

He was silent a while. This was a mistake. Mokuba knew it was a mistake to stay, to agree to it, but he would. What else could he do? "I won't leave him..."

"Thank you. It may not make him better, but it should keep him from getting worse."

Mokuba sat down on the bed beside Seto, looking down at him as he spoke to Isono, "So you're telling me that he's going to be this tragic for the rest of his life?"

"I don't know. I'm not a fortune teller, despite all the things I am. If you left him because of this, though, he would be dead within a week. I don't have to be a fortuneteller to know that."

"And did you really think there'd be any possible way for me to leave after you say something like that?" Mokuba shook his head. "Just go...Let me be alone with him..."

Isono said nothing and left. He hated to get in the way of Mokuba's marriage and life, but his primary concern was Seto. He couldn't let him keep going like this.

"You have to get better..." Gently, he pushed his brother's hair from his face, looking down at him. The storm in his eyes broke, and he could no longer hold back his tears, "Please get better..."

Seto was too unconscious to react.
