Chapter 3

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Ryou had long finished his meditation and was fast asleep when a rattling woke him. Mikado groaned, slowly opening his eyes and looking up. He narrowed them as he saw Marik and Malik opening the door of the stall they were in.

Ryou blinked away his sleep and sat up, scooting back behind Mikado. He bit his lip to prevent himself from saying anything, as Mikado had told him.

Marik smirked as he walked in, carrying chains and shackles in his hands. Malik followed, just looking like he was hoping to be amused. Mikado slowly slipped his fingers into his right boot, then pulled a knife and lunged.

"ARHH!! DAMN!!!" Marik yelped, leaping back with a slashed side. "You little fuck!" He siezed Mikado's wrist and twisted it.

"Filthy... werewolf..." Mikado growled back, wincing as his nerves were pinched and the blade fell from his fingers. Marik dropped the chains and shackles.

"Malik... search him so we don't get anymore surprises... then put those chains on him..." He turned and looked at Ryou. "And you. Come with me." Mikado leapt up.

"You leave him alone!" And he lunged at Marik.

Malik knocked Mikado over with a harsh blow to the head. "Shut the fuck up!" he growled. "God!" He began searching Mikado occasionally beating the boy to keep him still. Ryou was absolutely FROZEN in terror. Staring shocked between Marik, Malik and Mikado. He shook his head and backed up more.

"I...I don’t want to...." he whimpered.

Marik rolled his eyes, grabbing Ryou's wrist and dragging him out of the stall, Malik and Mikado's shouts following them all the way out of the building. Then, Ryou got his first good look at the village they were in.

The village could only be described as a rogue's paradise. A...brothel, several taverns and eateries, and a few inns. There were some small houses, but it seemed for the most part that the town was merely a pausing point between thefts, where spoils could be spent quickly on pleasure of material value, or pleasures of the flesh. He stumbled after Marik while looking at the village in shock.

"Home sweet home." Marik said with a slight grin. "It's not much... but it's all we need. Nice place, actually."

"It's a massive sin pit!" Ryou wailed. "Is..is that a WHORE house?!"

"Why yes. Yes it is. We aren't known for our piety here, sweetheart." Marik said.

Ryou wrinkled his nose. "Don’t call me that."

Marik chuckled. "Yeah... doesn't really fit you..." He sniffed. "You hardly SMELL sweet..." He pulled Ryou in the direction of the largest inn.

Ryou grumbled. "I wonder who's fault THAT is."

Marik chuckled. "Which is why I am giving you the opportunity to enjoy a hot bath."

"What's the catch?" Ryou said softly.

Marik blinked. "Catch? Oh... ummm..." He cocked his head, then lifted his shirt, revealing the bleeding slash that Mikado gave him. "Heal this for me?" He asked.

Ryou snorted. "You deserve it."

Marik frowned. "How did I deserve it?! I didn't come in to HURT anyone! I came in to offer you a bath! Look, if you don't want to bathe, then just tell me so I can take you right back to the stable!"

Ryou pouted. "I want a bath..." he mumbled looking down.

"Then quit whining and come on!" The werewolf cried, throwing up his hands in exasperation.

Ryou pouted and followed quietly, trying to avoid eye contact with people they passed. He heard a lot of snickering and lewd comments however.

Marik turned and glared, snarling and baring his teeth. "HEY!!! Knock it off!! The kid is a PRIEST!!! Come on! Even WE have standards here!!!"

Snickers erupted into laughter. "He's jailbait of the worst kind." one of the men snickered. "And I doubt he'll be a priest for long anymore."

Marik rolled his eyes. "Yes, he is jailbait. But show SOME decency you morons. Let the boy alone. If you wanna fuck someone, fine, rape the damn Agent for all I care. But no touching the priest."

Another man snorted. "As if that'd save YOUR soul."

"My soul is fucked over and sideways!" Marik laughed. "There's no redemption for werewolves. I was BORN damned!!!"

The men laughed at that. "Then why are you protecting the little bundle of hot kinky rape."

Ryou whimpered wide eyed. He couldn't believe that... that ANYONE looked at anything like that, let alone a priest... He wasn't attractive at all! He'd always been homely because of his ancestry.

Marik growled, glaring. "Hold your tongues. The priest will NOT be touched! Another word and I'll rip out your tongues."

Both men snorted. "Fine fine..."

Marik snorted and nodded, turning and going on his way, pulling Ryou along by the hand. "Come on."

Ryou sniffled following quickly, all too happy to get away from the men. "Th-thank you..." he mumbled after a moment of walking.

Marik blinked and looked back at Ryou. "Huh? For what?"

"Making... them stop talking like that..." Ryou replied softly.

"Oh. Well, of course. Even I have standards." Marik said.

Ryou smiled. "Oh..."

Marik took Ryou into the inn, and into a back room. And there, was a large tub of steaming water. "Here you go." Marik said. "I'll be right outside the door. Take your time." Marik said, and slipped out, closing the door.

Ryou sighed in absolute joy. A bath...a BATH! He blinked and frowned, peeking back outside. "umm...I...I hate to trouble you...but I have no clean clothing..."

Marik blinked at Ryou. "Oh!! I forgot!" He picked up some clothes sitting on a nearby table and handed them to Ryou. It was a pair of thick warm pants and a shirt, and soft boots lined in fur. "Here. Newly made and newly stolen!" He winked and chuckled.

Ryou frowned. "You could have merely purchased them...you stole more than enough from ME to afford these." he said sighing. "Some family makes these for a living..."

"I DID purchase them!" Marik cried. "... from another theif!"

Ryou groaned and put a hand to his head. "Father give me strength...." he mumbled taking the clothes and closing the door once more.

Marik chuckled merrily, quite amused at this poor boy.

Ryou sighed, putting the clothes on a nearby table and beginning to undress. After a long while of taking off robes and other attire, he finally climbed into the steaming tub and sighed quite contently. He began bathing meticulously, and after what seemed like forever he finally began washing his hair.

But while Marik waited outside for Ryou to enjoy his bath, Mikado was giving Malik hell in the stable. He kept knocking him in the head and kicking his shins, fighting off the elf so the pointy eared one couldn't search him properly. And Malik was SURE that Mikado had more weapons on him. He tried to get the shackles on him, but Mikado wasn't letting THAT happen either. All in all, Malik was getting VERY pissed off.

"Alright you little asswipe!" Malik thundered. "Either the shackles go on, or the priest dies!" he shouted having had quite enough struggling for one day.

Mikado glared up at Malik, then smirked. "You're bluffing."

"Bet me money." Malik snarled warningly.

Mikado slowly stood, then looked down at Malik, who was slightly shorter. "Riiight... and who are you calling 'little', shorty?"

Malik kicked Mikado in the groin quickly, a very cheap shot which knocked him to the ground quite efficiently. "You. Now shackles or I'm going to kill the priest while he's naked in the damn bath!"

Mikado just let out a strangled groan from where he lay curled up on the floor, grimacing in pain. "... you... cheap bastard..." He snarled in a strained gasp.

"Uh HELLO" Malik groaned. "Thief!"

"Nnnh..." Was Mikado's only response.

Malik took this time to shackle up Mikado, since he was occupied with his aching manhood. "Ahh there we go. Nice and helpless." He said proudly.

Mikado found himself sitting against the wall, chains on his ankles and his wrists, which held his arms up over his head. He winced and squirmed a bit, still in pain from Malik's cheap shot, then pulled against the chains on his wrists, testing for weaknesses. Malik finally found himself able to search the Agent for any more concealed weapons.

Malik searched calmly. "God you're like a fucking magician." he grumbled pulling all that remained of 'hidden' weapons from Mikado. "Next time just stay down." he added taking them away. "I'll bring back your little puffball priest as soon as he's done washing up."

Mikado narrowed his eyes, then headbutted Malik in the nose.

Malik hissed in pain jerking back. "Ass!" he howled stabbing Mikado harshly with the knife he'd used on Marik. "Fucker!" Stabbed once, twice... three times.

Mikado gasped at the first attack, and yelped on the second and third, staring at Malik in surprise and shock. Then he closed his eyes and grimaced, clenching his teeth and groaning. "D-Damn you..." He ground out.

"Shut the fuck up." Malik snorted leaving the dagger in Mikado's side. "I'll let priesty clean you up." he said standing. "And when he's done, he'll give me your dagger." he added calmly, walking away.

Mikado watched him go, then let his head fall to his chest with a pained whimper as his clothes, already stiff with dried blood, was soaked in it again...

Marik in the meantime, was chewing on a nice juicy beef bone as he waited for Ryou to finish.

After literally forever, the young priest finally emerged from the bathing room. His hair was once again brilliant white, and not a smudge on his skin. He was again the beautiful priest he'd been. Only this time with wet hair which barely hid his slightly pointed ears.

Marik blinked and cocked his head, reaching out and brushing Ryou's hair back, looking at his ears. "... you have elven blood?"

Ryou pulled away and shook his head quickly, though he didn't voice the lie.

Marik frowned. "Don't lie to me. Your ears... you have elven blood. Why would you try to lie to me about something so obvious?"

Ryou bit his lip and sniffled. "P-please... don’t tell..." he said after a moment.

"Why? There's nothing wrong with being part elf. My best friend is an elf, remember?" He pointed out.

Ryou shook his head, pulling his hair back over his ears and sniffling. "How many elf priests are there in this world?" he asked softly.

Marik chuckled. "I dunno, you tell me. You're the one with an education, kid."

Ryou looked away. "None. No elves are priests for the lord. Elves a-aren't..." he shook his head.

Marik just grunted and shrugged. "Well, obviously they are, because YOU are."

"I'm half." Ryou said looking upset. "I hate it."

"Why?" Marik asked.

"I'm ugly..."

This earned Ryou a look from Marik. "... What?!"

Ryou blushed slightly and looked away. "I'm ugly... th-the elders I trained with... always hated the way I looked... those horrible ears... s-so... I grew long hair to hide them." Ryou said sighing. "Priests are beautiful to man and god... a-and I'm ugly."

"... I don't think so." Marik said. "And neither do the others here..." He scowled at the men who had been making lewd comments before. "They just showed it in a disgusting way."

"I'm sorry... but it is hard to believe a man who lies for a living." Ryou said shaking his head.

Marik frowned at Ryou, laying his ears back. "Fine." He said as they entered the stable. "Ask the Agent." They got to the stall and Marik blinked. "Um... if Malik hasn't killed him already..."

Ryou looked horrified. "Mikado!" he gasped hurrying in and carefully pulling the knife from his side. "Oh Mikado!" Ryou shook his head beginning to rapidly heal his friend. "Y-you'll be ok I'm so sorry... I never should have left!" tears dripped down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry!"

Mikado winced, but smiled and laughed slightly. "It's okay... I was just doing my job by being as much trouble as I could... don't worry..." He said. Marik watched, not giving a damn about the Agent, but he felt slightly saddened by the sight of tears on the priest's face...

Ryou sniffled and hugged Mikado tightly despite the blood. "You can’t get yourself killed!" he whimpered. "I can’t raise the dead! I was never taught such magics..." he buried his face in Mikado's hair while healing him. "Please... you'll be okay... just don’t make them hurt you anymore..."

Mikado sighed and smiled. "I'll be fine. If I leave this world, I go on to a better place. Ryou. Look at me."

Ryou sniffled. "No! You can’t leave me here with them! Who will keep me company... a-and warm..." he pulled back to give Mikado a devastated teary-eyed look.

Mikado smiled, fingers twitching in his desire to comfort the boy. "I'm not TRYING to get myself killed... but I'm not going let them have things EASY with me either." He glared at Marik, who smirked and grunted. Mikado looked back at Ryou. "I do not fear death."

"Of course not..." Ryou said sniffling, more tears sliding down his cheeks. "Death isn't something to fear..." he sniffled. "But... I fear being alone without you..."

Mikado smiled. "Well... I'll TRY not to get killed..."

Ryou nodded sniffling. "You're a mess... a-and chained up..." he shook his head, healing Mikado. "I'm so sorry..."

"Shhh... it's okay. You have no reason to BE sorry..." Mikado cooed soothingly. Marik snorted and turned, leaving the stable.

"You know what I like?" Yami said as he and Ahmose traveled. "Apple cobbler." He chuckled. "Even though it does nothing for sustaining me, it tastes pretty good." he yawned.

Ahmose blinked, confused and caught off guard by this... random announcement. "... What?!"

"Apple cobbler. You know, that stuff 'mothers' around here bake at this time of year. Good stuff." Yami reiterated.

"Uh... yyyyeah..." Ahmose said slowly, raising an eyebrow. "... are you feeling okay? You're not hungry again, are you?"

Yami blinked. "Uh...no. I was just reminded of it." Yami said calmly. "The temperature and scent of the air around us reminded me of apple cobbler I had once..."

Ahmose chuckled. "You sure are random sometimes..." He said, turning and looking back at Yami with an amused smile.

Yami shrugged. "Well you're the one who wanted me to stay." Yami chuckled.

Ahmose grinned. "And I still do."

"mmm.." Yami sighed. "I never thought you'd change your mind about me being in this realm. It's still a surprise. Humans are fickle creatures, but soooooo good." Yami laughed and nibbled Ahmose's neck.

Ahmose shivered slighty and moaned, tilting his head slightly to allow Yami more access. "... Would you... really have left? If I hadn't asked you to stay?"

Yami shrugged. "It's not like I couldn't have come right back..." he nibbled along Ahmose's neck. "But maybe when you're done being a hired help among humans...you could come home with me." Yami slipped his tail around Ahmose's waist once more, slipping the tip into his pants slyly. "I think you would enjoy it."

Ahmose jumped slightly, looking down and blushing. "Uh... g-go home with... you? Enjoy it?" He stammered.

Yami smirked and nodded. "Sure...I have a nice home. granted it's no castle, it is a pretty large place...and all the sex toys you could imagine...Demons have a lot of spare time on their hands, and my particular group utilizes that time making 'sex toys' heh...."

Ahmose blinked and flushed. "... what a noble profession..." He mumbled, rubbing his forehead.

Yami snickered and flicked the tip of his tail lower into Ahmose's pants. "Hey, it works well for us." he cooed. "besides I'd have SO much fun introducing you to them."

Ahmose jumped, gasping. "Oh... um... really now?" He asked, trying to sound calm and collected, and failing.

Yami's crimson eyes glimmered with amusement. "Yes really." he purred slipping his tail further into Ahmose's pants, coiling it every so barely around his lover. "I wonder if you could imagine some of the lustful...wickedly delicious things I could do to you...things humans of this world never concieved possible for intercourse... things so pleasureable..."

Ahmose's eyelids fluttered and he moaned slightly, both at the... less than innocent actions of Yami's tail, and Yami's words as well...

"Sounds inviting doesn't it?" Yami purred, slowly beginning to stroke Ahmose's length with his tail. "You're curious....eager...and I'll always be with you tormenting your senses..."

Ahmose shivered, slumping back into Yami's chest. "Yesss..." He breathed, reaching back and running fingers through Yami's hair.

Yami smirked, slowly increasing speed with his tail, a hand sliding up under Ahmose's shirt. "I'm the only one in any world you'll ever need." he cooed kissing Ahmose's shoulder. "You're my human...and I dont ever intend to give you up..." he breathed into Ahmose's ear massaging his chest tweaking his nipples.

"Ahh..." Ahmose breathed, arching into Yami's touch. "God... Yami... I love you... don't leave me... don't ever leave me... please..."

"Never." Yami hissed continuing his torturous pace, not speeding enough to give Ahmose release, but not slowing enough for him to lose arousal...agonizing pleasure.

"Y-Yami... God... please..." Ahmose begged, and vaguely wondered in the back of his mind if his poor horse knew what was happening on his back... even the slight jarr of the horse's footsteps made his body tingle right now...

Yami chuckled knowing how Ahmose felt, and using it to his full advantage...wracking his body with a harsh wave of magically induced pleasure. "I'm the only one who can make you feel this way...only me."

"Ahh... y-yes..." Ahmose moaned in agreement, turning his head and nuzzling Yami's neck, gently kissing his jaw.

Yami turned his head to meet Ahmose's kisses, invading his mouth immediatly, letting his lover taste his lust. The tip of his tail traced a feather-light trail down Ahmose's length all the while, before resuming it's tormenting and stroking.

"Hnnn...!" Ahmose moaned, lifting his hips slightly in response. The horse snorted and shook his mane, starting to get annoyed by all the movement going on back there.

Yami chuckled, slowly easing away. "Your horse..." he breathed.

Ahmose blinked, then sighed and kissed Yami again. "... He'll live..."

Yami grinned and went right back to what he was doing, with more ferver. "Oh good."

Ahmose gasped, startled, but then moaned in pleasure and delight. But a moment later, Nakhti stopped in his tracks and swished his tail, swivelling his ears around. His nostrils flared and he snorted again, backing up a few steps and looking around.

Yami looked up from what he was doing, intent to find the culprit that had disturbed his fun. despite Ahmose's fun not being disturbed in the least.

Nakhti neighed and shied back, looking every which way. Ahmose sat up and seized the reins, eyes wide and alert. "Shhh... what is it?" He looked around... something was moving in the shadows around them... "... Yami?"

Yami perked up interestedly. "Ohhh...Come on!" he whined loudly. "I WAS HAVING FUN!" he huffed.

All of a sudden, the branch of a large oak tree swung down and swept over Nakhti's head, but caught Ahmose full in the chest. He shouted as he and Yami were swept off of the horse. Yami fell flat on his back, but Ahmose was sent flying by the momentum of the branch and into another tree, crashing to the ground.

"... ahhg..." He groaned, slowly getting to his feet, clutching his ribs. "Y-Yami... you okay?!"

Yami laughed while sitting up. "Trouble maker!" he howled. "I had him just where I wanted him and you go spooking the horse!" he called glaring at the tree. "Cant you wait your turn!?" he snorted.

Ahmose grumbled. "You're not funny, Yami..." But then, his eyes widened. "YAMI, LOOK OUT!!!" Nakhti whinnied in fear and bolted down the trail as a branch came crashing down, swatting Yami to the ground again.

Yami howled with laughter and swiped at the tree. "Gods! I'm not being rude! I had him first! Find your OWN human!" He fluttered his wings and sat up glaring at the tree. "Now stop this nonsense, you can clearly see he is MY chosen." he gave the tree a warning look. "Wait around for the NEXT human."

"Yami, are you nuts?!" Ahmose cried, staring at Yami in disbelief as he stumbled towards him. Suddenly, the roots of the tree he was passing lifted up, tripping him. Ahmose yelped in pain as he landed on his already hurting ribs, then yelped again as the roots wrapped around and over him, pinning him down. "Good God!!!"

Yami laughed harder. "CALM DOWN Ahmose it's just a dryad! She's just making mischief because you're newly chosen!" he chuckled.

Ahmose winced and struggled. "She's... hurting me!" He groaned as the roots tightened, dragging him closer to the trunk of the tree where more roots were reaching for him.

Yami growled slightly and stood hurrying to Ahmose's side and slashing the tree's roots with his claws. "Back off sister, I said he's mine!" he snarled pulling Ahmose loose and wrapping his wings tightly around him. "Touch him again, and I shall set fire to you!"

The tree quickly backed off and returned to its normal position, and all was quiet. Ahmose groaned, resting his head on Yami's chest as he held his ribs. "... God... What the fuck was HER problem?!"

"Jealousy? You're prettier than her." Yami snickered.

Ahmose looked up, giving Yami a look. “… you’re an ass…”

"At least I'm an honest ass." Yami cooed lovingly. "Now unless you want this lovely, though mischievous lady to take another stab at uglying you up, I suggest we say our thank you’s for passing by, and continue on our way."

Ahmose snorted and slowly got to his feet, grimacing and clutching his ribs. “Yeah… and now we have to chase down Nakhti, too…” He grumbled, glaring at the tree. “Fuckin dryads… WHY did she attack me?!”

"Because you're prettier." Yami said again. "They're very jealous."

Ahmose glared at Yami. "Oh, knock it off... I've never been attacked by a dryad before!"

Yami sighed. "It comes with keeping me around." Yami shrugged. "Jeaous little creatures will be trying to paw you down. Incubi aren't exactly common. Succubi sure, not so much the male half."

Ahmose blinked as they walked down the game trail. "Oh?"

Yami nodded. "There's probably one incubus for every 20 succubi." Yami snickered. "Not that I'm complaining."

Ahmose chuckled. "Plus you seem to prefer men, anyway, hmm?"

"Uh...demons aren't born in the conventional method." Yami said calmly. "Not like humans."

"Really? How are you born then?" Ahmose asked.

"Succubi get bored. Basically when they get bored...they just...create one." Yami said calmly. "Babies are likes toys to them..."

Ahmose blinked. "... And... how do they CREATE them?"

"Ahmose, am I a succubus?" Yami said flatly.

Ahmose blinked. "... Uh... nnnnoooo... If you are, I'd like to know how you fucked me all last week..."

"Exactly. so I dont KNOW how they do it."

"... Oh." Ahmose said. They walked in silence for a while, and then Ahmose lifted his fingers to his lips and whistled loudly.

Yami chuckled. "Horse?" he asked after Ahmose had whistled. "Or is there a sexy woman nearby?"

Ahmose chuckled. "Horse."

Yami smiled. "Well trained I take it? He's got a good personality."

Ahmose smiled. "Yeah... but he took off pretty fast... He's still a horse. He gets spooked. I don't know how far he may have run."

Yami nodded and curled a wing around Ahmose. "Well I dont mind walking with you til we find him."

Ahmose chuckled again. "I wouldn't mind, but my ribs are killing me... I'd rather ride..." He whistled again, and this time they heard a distant neigh. Ahmose snorted. "Damn horse... he'd better be coming towards us and not just WAITING..."

"heh I wouldn't blame him if he was waiting." Yami smirked. "Besides, now I can have a bit more fun without worry of the horse bucking us off..."

Ahmose blinked and slowly turned and looked at Yami. "... What?!"

Yami smirked. "like you wouldn't enjoy a little fun in the grass..." he purred.

"It's cold!" Ahmose laughed, looking at Yami with a smile.

Yami smirked. "Well let me warm you up!"

Ahmose looked at Yami with raised eyebrows and a smile. "And let a jealous dryad attack again? No thank you!" He laughed.

"She can join in then." Yami offered grinning like an idiot. "Nothing's better than a threesome."

Ahmose gave Yami a look. "Uh, no." He said, heading down the game trail, whistling again. The neigh was heard again, closer, and then hoofbeats. Finally, Nakhti trotted around a bend in the trail, tossing his head. Ahmose smiled and went to meet him, taking hold of his bridle and stroking the white blaze on his face. He turned and looked over his shoulder at Yami, and smiled.

"Good horse." he cooed. "Well lets get moving...it'll be sun down soon, and I'd like a better place to camp for the night than last time...gravel and wings dont mix well...I think I still have stones in places I'd rather not."

Ahmose chuckled, hugging Nakhti's head, gently, then moving around and mounting the horse. He hissed and grimaced, hand flying to his ribs again. "Ah... okay. Come on, Yami. Let's go."

Yami nodded and climbed on. "I'll check you later tonight...hopefully it's just bruising." he purred wrapping gentle wings around his lover to give him extra warmth.

Ahmose blinked, then smiled, pulling the large bearskin cloak around the both of them, covering Yami's wings to keep them warm as well. He bent his head down and gently kissed the arm of Yami's left wing, then clicked his tongue and Nakhti began trotting down the trail again.

Yami's wing twitched lightly. "That tickled." he cooed.

Ahmose chuckled, looking back at Yami and smiling. "Sorry..." he said softly, turning and urging Nakhti into a gallop, smiling slightly as Yami tightened his hold on him with both wings and arms, and pressed up against his back harder.

Ryou was woken in the morning by men entering the stable, chattering loudly and laughing... a rough bunch who seemed eager about something. Malik was leading them looking quite haughty and arrogant. Marik trailed behind, looking bored. Mikado groaned and lifted his head, looking annoyed that he had been woken up.

Ryou blinked and hugged Mikado protectively, giving them a frightened look. "W-what do you want?"

Malik smirked evilly and chuckled. Marik sighed and rolled his eyes. "The vampires want to sample the Agent's blood.” He said calmly as Malik unlocked the stall door. Mikado's eyes widened and he paled. Letting Bakura feed from him slightly from time to time was one thing... but this was something else completely... Marik stared at Ryou.

Ryou looked too shocked to even speak, ... or perhaps near wetting himself. "YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!” He wailed. "A VAMPIRE?!" That's when those awful heart-smashing tears started welling up. Those horrible tears that just made you feel awful for doing anything.

Marik winced and looked away.

"No, not a vampire!!" Someone in the small crowd laughed. "About eight of them actually...” Mikado swallowed thickly, and he could swear the scars Bakura's fangs left were tingling...

Ryou looked near a panic attack at that. "NO!” He hugged Mikado tighter. "They'll kill him!"

Malik smirked. "Only if you refuse to heal him afterwards."

"I can heal! I can’t restore BLOOD!" Ryou whined. "You're going to kill us both if you keep hurting him! I'm not made of Magic!"

"Get used to it." Malik snorted boredly. "Be glad it's not you.” He added smugly.

"So we'll tell the vampires to be careful!" Another man in the group laughed. Marik stared at the floor when they infiltrated the stall, dragging Ryou away from Mikado and pinning him against the opposite wall while Malik unlocked the chains from the wall, but didn't remove them from the Vatican Agent.

Ryou struggled, giving Marik a devastated look. "How can you j-just do this?!” He sobbed trying feebly to pull away. "You can’t! Please I h-have to try to protect him!"

Malik rolled his eyes and dragged Mikado out of the stall. "Shut your crying mouth.” He hissed as he walked, the other men helping as best they could, until only Marik and Ryou remained...

Marik sighed and slowly entered the stall, closing the door behind him, and he looked at Ryou.

There meeting Marik's were wide frightened tear-filled brown eyes full of despair. "Why are you doing this to us?” He sniffled. "What did we ever do to deserve this?"

Marik snorted. "It's not you.” He said, walking over to Ryou. "He brought it upon himself when he decided to become a Vatican Agent."

Ryou backed away sniffling. "No one ever brings that sort of vicious treatment upon themselves... he's too injured and restricted to even trouble you anymore! Y-yet he's still being tortured! He can’t even defend himself!"

"Hmmph... Those Vatican Agents are thorns in the sides of every being in this village. They make our extremely difficult lives even MORE difficult. They justify themselves by saying they're doing God's work.” He scowled. "Some of us don't even get a chance to lead an honest life. Just because the Vatican says that we're evil... I was shunned just because I was born to werewolves as one of them. I wasn't ALLOWED to live a normal honest life.” He growled. "I tried Ryou. Believe me, I tried. I tried to set up an honest business in so many places. Each and every time, Vatican Agents were sent to drive me out and kill me. Just because of what I was. And it's the same for almost everyone here in this village. Most of us didn't CHOOSE to live the life of a theif... but we were forced to... Can you blame them for wanting revenge? It's because of the Vatican and their Agents. And fate has chosen THIS Agent to pay the price for the unfair treatment we all received from the Vatican."

Ryou gave Marik large tear-filled eyes. "You say you're not a monster... but you act like one. You have the chance right now... to be better than that... and here you tell me he deserves it. He has it coming." Ryou wiped his eyes. "He's just a new agent... only a Journeyman, this was probably his first mission... he never had a chance to do any harm to you or anyone."

Marik snorted. "This was NOT his first mission. He's a Second Class Journeyman. He had missions as a Third Class Journeyman, and as a First Class Apprentice he accompanied a Master on missions. Beleive me, he is no innocent." Marik said.

Ryou looked away. "You can’t pretend to be innocent yourself... when you do nothing to stop something you KNOW it is wrong."

Marik sighed and looked at Ryou, wincing slightly when the sound of Mikado screaming and shouting angrily came to their ears.

Malik followed, smirking, as Mikado was dragged into the Bloodstone Tavern, where the vampires were waiting since it was morning. They all got up and watched as the Vatican Agent was brought in. The vampires began growling and cursing; every single one of them had lost at least ONE Blood Relative or friend to a Vatican Agent. Mikado stared at the vampires, eyes wide in fear. The men released the Agent, who tried to move to fight, the chains on his arms and legs rattling, but the vampires seized him in iron grips, dragging him to a table in the middle of the room and slamming him down on it.

”Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio; contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli-- AH!!” Mikado began to pray to St. Michael, the Archangel, but a vampire belted him across the face.

”Shut your mouth…” He growled, but then leapt back with a hiss when Mikado’s golden cross fell out of his shirt. Malik chuckled.

”Problem?” He asked.

”Get that off of him!!” The vampire snapped. Malik snickered and sauntered over, ripping the gold cross, chain and all, off of his neck. Mikado whimpered as his last defense was taken from him. The vampires chuckled evilly, swarming around them. Mikado screamed and thrashed as they laid their hands on him, pulling his legs apart and his arms out. Mikado grunted in his futile efforts to free himself. His sleeves were pulled up to bare his wrists, and his jacket vest and shirt were ripped open and pulled down off of his shoulders, revealing his torso and neck.

”Hnh… he’s been bitten…” One vampire commented, tracing a claw over the scars Bakura had left him with. The vampires murmured and avoided the left side of Mikado’s neck and shoulder.

“He’s not marked anywhere else…” Said another, and the vampires moves in. Mikado yelped as he felt fangs pierce his right wrist. The other vampires followed the example of the first. Mikado screamed angrily and thrashed as his other wrist and the right side of his neck was bitten. Their were fangs on either side of his chest and the sides of his abdomen. But he REALLY freaked out when he felt clawed hands dragging his pants down off of his hips and down his thighs.

”GET OFF OF ME!!!” Mikado screamed, thrashing as his legs were forced wide apart and fangs were sunk into the soft flesh of his inner thighs, seeking out the blood of the Femoral Artery. Malik smirked and leaned against the wall, watching the furious struggles of the shouting Agent begin to weaken, and his cries faded. The elf grinned and chuckled when tears began to trickle down Mikado’s face as he was overcome by his fear and helplessness…

Marik sighed, looking at Ryou. "Even if I wanted to stop them... what makes you think I could?” He asked, frowning and looking down. "I'll admit it... I really don't like how they're all talking about him like he's nothing but a peace of meat... discussing what they would like to do to him. Some of it turns my stomach. But if I tried to stop them... I would probably get killed.” He walked right over to Ryou and stared down at him. "And if I die, well... let's just say that I'm the only thing standing between them and YOU."

Ryou gasped and shook his head before sniffling. "Then don’t... it's not fair to watch him suffer... and be exempt...”

"You have to stay healthy and strong to heal him." Marik said, reaching out and stroking Ryou's cheek. "All he has is you. He depends on you.” He sighed. "If I had known what was really in that carriage... I would have let it alone and left you to go on your way to the Vatican. I'm sorry for all of this...”

Ryou shook his head. "If you were sorry... you'd do something to end it... you just don’t want me to look at you with this hurt in my eyes."

Marik sighed. "You're right. I don't.” He looked at Ryou. "I'll... go make sure they don't take... too much blood from your friend...”

Ryou sniffled and shook his head. "I'm sure...”

Marik sighed and looked down, leaving the stable and heading over to the BloodStone tavern, where the vampires hung out. He walked in and glanced at Malik, who was leaning against the wall and staring at the middle of the room, swinging a gold cross necklace in his hand. Marik turned and sighed.

Mikado was flat on his back, his clothes torn open and vampires latched on to his major arteries on his throat, stomach, wrists and inner thighs. He was staring at the cieling, barely clinging to consciousness.

"Nice." Marik snorted, giving Malik a look, and he walked towards the vampires. "Alright, enough. Don't kill him."

The vampires hissed their disapproval, taking their final drinks and pulling away, not bothering to seal Mikado's wounds.

Marik snorted and gathered the Agent up in his arms. "Oh, quit your whining. When he fully recovers I'm sure Malik will let you feed from him again.” He said, leaving the tavern and carrying him back to the stable, returning to Ryou. "Here... seal his puncture wounds before he bleeds out...” Marik said, laying Mikado down before Ryou. Mikado's wounds were bleeding freely, being on the major arteries. "Heal his legs first so he doesn't have to lie there with his pants around his ankles. He doesn't need that kind of... exposure...”

Ryou nodded and hurriedly began healing Mikado. It didn’t take much to seal the wounds. "Please... he needs to eat something." Ryou whispered. "I told you... I can’t restore blood... h-he has to get something in his system so he can make more on his own...”

Marik nodded, wrestling with Mikado's torn pants and getting them up his thighs and over his hips. "I'll see to it that you both get some hot soup and fresh bread.” He said, looking down at Mikado's face and its deathly pale complexion. "Maybe some wine... anything else?” He asked, looking at Ryou. Mikado shivered, eyes flickering open briefly.

"S-some blankets for him...” He said softly. "Please."

"What about you?" Marik asked, grabbing Mikado's cloak and covering the Agent with it.

"I'll be fine...” Ryou said calmly. "I'm not the one who needs it."

Marik sighed. "I'll bring blankets for you, too.” He said, turning and leaving the stall. He walked over to Malik, who was leaving the tavern, wearing Mikado's gold cross. "Trophy, Malik?"

Malik blinked. "What's wrong with you? You know he deserves it! Think of all the times they kicked you out of towns, of all the attempts to kill you!” He threw his hands up. "Don’t tell me you're having second thoughts…?”

Marik rolled his eyes. "Don't you think you’re being... a bit unnecessarily cruel? I mean... he IS just a kid...”

"So it wasn't unnecessarily cruel to you to hunt you down no matter where you went? To injure you to near death that time? Remember that? You were so wounded that you were bed-ridden for nearly a month!" Malik countered.

Marik sighed. "I know, I know... but HE didn't do that to me...” Marik pointed out. "I'll bet they didn't even KNOW what they were sending him against when they sent him after us."

"Which makes it all the richer." Malik cooed.

Marik frowned and looked at Malik. "... when did you become so... malicious, Malik?” He asked softly. "So... hateful...?”

"Over the time I've been alive." the elf replied. "Humans are cruel, it becomes contagious after being around it so long."

Marik sighed. "I know humans are cruel in general but... not all of them are...”

"coming from a werewolf, who's been hunted and hurt by them all his life." Malik replied. "Since when did you get soft?"

Marik rolled his eyes. "Come on... it's like werewolves. Not all of US are bad...”

Malik rolled his eyes. "I can’t believe you! You're the one who said to bring him along to begin with!"

"Not to do THIS to him!" Marik protested. He sighed and shook his head. "Look, just... get some blankets and take them to Ryou, please."

"Now we're giving them blankets?!" Malik howled. "No! They're prisoners waiting for a ransom. Not guests at an inn. They can live without blankets!"

Marik glared. "They're freezing, Malik! And the Agent is weak! He could die! That would break Ryou's heart!"

Malik gave Marik a cold look. "What does that boy's heart have to do with you?"

Marik blinked and looked at Malik. "Come on, Malik... he's got it rough enough as it is."

"He's a priest!" Malik roared. "He sits on his ass all damn day! Bitching about evil and proclaiming YOU a sinner!" Malik poked Marik slightly. "He doesn't even LIKE you! You're just a fucking dog-man to him! A sinning monster and here you're all worried about HIM?!"

Marik glared. "FINE!!! I'll get the fuckin blankets!” He shouted, storming towards the carriage where they were keeping their belongings.

Malik growled and followed. "Why the hell are you getting so touchy! You were laughing along with us all for a long time now!" Malik shouted stopping Marik from opening the carriage door. "What's wrong with you?!"

Marik glared at Malik. "I don't approve of this... torture.” He said softly. "It's not right...”

Malik sighed. "Marik... c'mon now...” He said calming down. "What's really going on. You didn't care about either one of those two until recently. What's going on?"

"... Nothing." Marik mumbled, getting out some blankets and heading to the stable.

Malik tugged Marik's tail. "Marik... we've been friends for a long time now... we tell eachother everything...”

"Yes, we have been friends for a long time! So you know that I hate it when you pull my tail!!!” He whined, walking into the stable and down to the last stall. He opened the door and walked over to the corner, kicking some hay into a pile and flinging a large blanket down on it. Then he turned and picked up the passed out Vatican Agent and carried him over to the make shift bed, laying him down. He looked at Ryou for approval as he handed the young priest the other blankets.

Ryou sniffled softly, quickly covering Mikado with the other blankets, leaving none for himself. "Oh Mikado... I'm so sorry...” He cuddled up with the agent and sighed. "Y-you'll be ok...”

Marik turned and left the stall, heading out of the stable again. He looked at Malik. "I... guess I have a soft spot for that... priest...” He mumbled softly.

Malik blinked a few times. "... a 'soft spot'?" Malik repeated. "Your TAIL was wagging!"

Marik blinked and looked at Malik, then at his tail, and back at Malik again. "... It was?!"

"Yes." Malik said giving Marik a look. "You LIKE him!"

Marik's eyes widened and his ears perked up. "I what?!"

"You heard me!" Malik accused. "You LIKE him!"

Marik frowned. "Just because my tail was wagging it doesn't mean I like him!"

"Suuuure!" Malik rolled his eyes. "You know he wouldn't ever go for that. I hate to tell you this Marik… but he's a PRIEST! Even if he decided to trust you on a personal level, his vows would never allow you to be his lover. He's a PRIEST!"

Marik sighed and nodded. "I know, Malik.” He said, walking into the Red Crown Tavern and asking for a fresh loaf of bread and two bowls of soup.

Malik followed blinking. "Then why?"

"Why what?" Marik asked, waiting for the food. "Oh yeah! And some water and wine!" He called after the barmaid.

"Why are you trying to impress him?" Malik repeated.

"I'm not." Marik said, blinking at a she-wolf across the room who was trying to impress HIM.

"Now THERE'S someone more your type." Malik said nudging him. "She digs you, and she's not a priest.” He smiled. "Plus she's got a nice rack."

Marik chuckled and rolled his eyes. "I'm not ready to settle down and have pups, Malik. Besides... I don't want to have pups, period... I don't want to have children that have to grow up in a world like this, hating them just because of what they are...”

"Marik... I think you should stay away from that priest." he said calmly.

"No way. You think I'll trust YOU to care for him? You want to kill him!" Marik cried as the soup and bread and wine and water was finally brought to him.

"Then let’s just ditch his ass." Malik said rolling his eyes.

Marik glared. "No."

"Why not?" Malik said giving Marik a look. "He knows how to take care of himself, plus I wouldn't be there to 'torture' him anymore."

"He DOESN'T know how to take care of himself, Malik... this is the first time he has EVER left his CHURCH!!!" Marik said, walking towards the stable with the food and drink. "You know...” He looked slyly at his friend. "Ryou is half Elf."

Malik blinked. "He hides it well. Sniveling baby. If that’s the case then he does know how to take care of himself. An elf's natural element is nature!"

Marik sighed. "Malik... I think you could really help him... he was raised to believe that Elves are... bad. And you're only giving substance to that belief. He fears his Elven blood and fear people finding out about him. You can help him come to terms with what he is and teach him about his Elven Heritage."

Malik raised an eyebrow. "Oh gag me with a spoon.” He snorted. "I'm not going to take him in. LOOK at him. Every time we're near him he starts sniveling, we didn't even have to do anything to him! He's a whining brat. He BELONGS locked up in a church."

Marik glared. "And why do you think he starts crying? You threw rocks and sticks at him and talk about KILLING him!!!"

"Before that even!" Malik said throwing his hands up. "He's just a whiner. The reason those humans probably locked him up is because he's so whiney! A church is the only place they can keep him away from people six days out of seven!"

XD!!! MALLY!!! That’s so mean!!!

^.^
Marik rolled his eyes. "Lighten up, Malik.” He said softly. "Don't be such a jerk...” He walked into the stable. "TRY to be decent to him. Please?"

"Marik. I don’t care if he's half elf. He's half human as well, and that half of him can rot in hell, and take the whining elf half with him."

Marik glared. "Bitch.” He snapped at Malik, and entered the stall, walking over to Ryou. "Here... soup, bread, water and wine...”

Ryou blinked up at Marik, his cheeks long since dried of tears, and for a brief moment, those eyes showed gratitude and such hope... they seemed to sparkle with life they hadn't shown since the day he'd been kidnapped. But they quickly dimmed when he caught sight of Malik. "Th-thank you...” He whispered taking them and propping Mikado up in his lap, beginning to feed him gently.

Marik sighed and smiled, nodding. "If there's anything else I can get for you...” He said softly.

Ryou nodded silently, continuing to dedicatedly care for his comrade.

Malik snorted. "sissy."

Marik glared. "Malik, shut the fuck up or be nice."

Malik smirked. "That WAS nice. I didn't call him a virgin whore waiting to be fucked by half the village because of his big doe eyes and the mere fact that it would ruin every dream he'd ever have. OR mention the fact that the brothel has made offers for him."

Marik stood and glared. "MALIK!!!"

Malik crossed his arms. "It's true. The brothel offered me twenty five hundred gold pieces for him."

"Well, we're not taking it." Marik snapped, petting Ryou on the head. "He's a PRIEST for God's sake! And you can SLEEP in the brothel tonight cuz you ain't sleeping in the carriage with ME!!"

"I can sell him if I want. His being a priest or not doesn't matter to me in the slightest."

Ryou was trembling and shakily trying to feed Mikado and block out what Malik was saying...

Marik growled, claws and teeth sharpening. "No. You won't."

Malik raised his eyebrow at Marik. "Attacking me won’t stop me if I decide to and you know that very well.” He said putting his hands behind his head and walking away. "That's a lot of gold."

Marik growled loudly. "When did you become such a jerk, Malik?! This is not LIKE you!!! I don't like it one bit!"

Malik snickered and trotted out. "Blame your little humans and priests. “ He called trotting out. "If I'm evil, then I'm going to act the part."

Ryou's cheeks once again met tears which he shed silently, still trying to feed Mikado, though he was shaking badly.

Marik sighed and turned, walking over and sitting down by Ryou, taking the bowl from him, and then the spoon. "Eat your own soup...” He said, filling the spoon and feeding Mikado, who was too out of it to notice that the hand holding the spoon was different. "... I'm sorry... I don't know why Malik has been like this... He's usually so... kind and light hearted, if not a bit mischeivous...”

Ryou backed away sniffling softly and hugging his knees to his chest. "Elves... are... evil." He sniffled softly.

"No. They're not. It's that attitude that has Malik acting that way." Marik said. "He's mad that people see him like that... that YOU see him like that. He's using it as an EXCUSE to be a jerk towards you."

Ryou shook his head. "I have no reason to think otherwise... h-he's going to sell me to a brothel...”

"No he's not. I won't let him." Marik said firmly, reaching out and feeling Mikado's face. He frowned. "... He's cold."

Ryou nodded. "I... can’t do anything else for him...” He sniffled again. "I healed his wounds... b-but I can’t give him back blood lost... a-and if he dies... " Ryou choked out a sob. "I'll be all alone...”

"Shhh...” Marik said softly. "I'm sure he'll be fine. Just let him rest. I'll... move the stove closer to this stall so you'll get more heat, okay?

Ryou gave Marik a heartbroken look. "W-why... are you being kind now? Is it because you're feeling guilty because you know you're doing something truly wrong?"

Marik sighed and looked down. "Maybe... I... I know what I've been doing is wrong."

Ryou gave Marik a sad look. "For someone born into so much sin... to do something wrong knowingly... you must truly have... nothing to live for."

Marik sighed. "... You're right."

"Then... why not try repenting... and giving purpose to your life?"
Ryou asked softly. "I-instead of wallowing in sin and self misery...”

Marik blinked. "Repent? Why? Would God even listen to a damned creature? Am I worthy of His forgiveness?"

Ryou gaped and shook his head. "Of COURSE God would listen! What sort of lord would ignore the pleas for forgiveness? He loves you even if you do horrible things... he sheds tears when you do wrong... j-just because you are damned does not mean you cannot change your ways... and perhaps even be blessed with a life OUT of damnnation." Ryou sniffled and wiped his eyes.

"But... I'm a werewolf...” Marik said softly, still feeding Mikado the soup.

"Being a werewolf... doesn't exempt you from god's love...” Ryou said sniffling.

"Really?" Marik asked, looking at Ryou. His ears perked a bit and his tail wagged slightly.

Ryou nodded sniffling still. "Of course."

"But... I've always been told that... I have no chance... I'm a werewolf... no better than a... a demon...” Marik said softly. Mikado stirred slightly.

"D-Demon... must... cast out...” He whimpered. Marik frowned and reached out.

"No... there's no demons here...” He said softly, trying to calm Mikado in his delirium.

Ryou sniffled. "I... I think that all creatures have a chance to... change their ways." Ryou looked away. "I may be wrong... but I think that I am right."

Marik sighed and looked down. "Maybe...”

Ryou sighed. "It's better than spending a whole life in sin... and ensuring you have no chance...”

Marik sighed. "I'll... think about it...” He said. "And I'll see if I can get your friend's necklace back from Malik...” He stood. "Please eat."

Ryou shook his head, still shaking. "I'm not hungry...”

"Eat." Marik said firmly. "You haven't eaten in days. And cold soup is nasty. Please. I went to the effort to get it for you, please eat it."

Ryou sighed and looked away. "I can’t... I'm so sorry...”

Marik frowned. "Why not?!” He asked, looking upset and insulted.

"I haven't been feeling well." Ryou replied.

"All the more reason to eat. I'm not leaving until you do." And he plopped down, crossed his arms and stared at Ryou.

Ryou blinked a few times, staring at Marik shocked. "W-what?"

"You heard me." Marik said.

Ryou sighed and shook his head. "I don’t think I can stomach it... I feel ill… a-and the idea of a brothel being the end of me...”

"I won't let it happen. As long as you eat." Marik said with a goofy smile.

Ryou smiled just slightly and nodded. "P-promise?"

Marik nodded. "I won't let him sell you to the brothel. If he tries... I'll just pack you up in the carriage and we'll leave... and Malik and my partnership will be dissolved."

Ryou looked worried. "what use would you have for me? Why not just let me go...?”

"And leave you all alone in the woods? You wouldn't last three days." Marik said, picking up the bowl of soup. "Come on... eat before it gets cold...”

Ryou sighed softly and nodded taking the soup with shaking hands and eating a few spoonfuls. "W-why..do you care w-whether or not I'd last... a-after that point I'd be no trouble of yours...”

Marik sighed. "B-Because...” He said softly, looking down.

Ryou blinked. "Because why?"

Marik just shrugged and mumbled to himself, staring at the floor.

"Even my ears aren't that good...” Ryou said softly. "Why?"

"I... I guess I like you.” He said.

Ryou looked confused. "A lot of people like me. I'm a priest...”

Marik smiled. "And so do I."

Ryou still remained confused. "Well... I...um... well I'm glad to have your friendship."

Marik smiled at Ryou and offered him the jugs of water and wine. "Here...”

Ryou shook his head pouting. "You'll drown me in fluids! The soup is more than enough...”

"The Agent needs alot of water.” He said, looking down at Mikado, who was looking around slightly, and picked up the other bowl of soup, feeding him again.

Ryou looked at Mikado. "Mikado... oh Mikado are you ok?"

Mikado blinked up at Ryou and smiled slightly. "Hey... you... okay Ryou?” He asked weakly. Marik blinked, but smiled.

Ryou nodded. "Y-yes... I'm alright...Marik has... taken care of me.."

Mikado blinked. "... M-Marik?"

"Right here...” Marik said softly, and Mikado looked at him. His eyes widened and he jerked, trying to get up, the chains on his wrists and ankles rattling. "No! No, I won't hurt you...” Marik said softly, trying to calm the frightened Agent.

Ryou hugged Mikado to still him. "Shhh... h-he brought us soup... and your blankets... calm down..” He cooed cuddling the dark haired teen.

Slowly, Mikado did so. "But... he's a... a werewolf...” He murmured, obviously worn out by his struggles.

"H-he seeks forgiveness... who... who are we to deny him that?"

Mikado blinked. "F-For... givness?” He mumbled, eyelids drooping again.

Ryou nodded and brushed Mikado's bangs from his eyes. "The lord... forgives even werewolves does he not?"

Mikado sighed, going limp again. "I... don't... know...” He mumbled, drifting off to sleep again. Marik looked down, ears drooping, and slowly stood, leaving the stall.

Ryou whimpered. "Don’t go...” He mewled softly.

He got no answer, but a moment later he heard a metallic scraping noise, and Marik grunting. When the door opened, Ryou saw that Marik had moved the heating stove close to the stall to warm them up a bit.

Ryou smiled, this time at Marik. "Don’t go...?” He called softly once more. "I... am lonely."

Marik looked at Ryou. "I, um... I have some things to do...” He said with a slight smile. "I'll be back with more hot food...”

Ryou nodded slowly. "Oh...ok.” He cuddled up to Mikado and shivered, but refused to deny his injured friend even one blanket. "I... will wait for you."

Marik sighed and smiled, shaking his head. He picked up Mikado's cloak, which had fallen to the floor when he moved the Agent, and he draped it over Ryou. "Here. You won't do him any good if YOU get sick...” He said.

Ryou shivered and nodded, cuddling into the tattered cloak. "Th-thank you...” He gave Marik a grateful look. "You... are a great many things... but hopefully... you will be more good things... and less evil things."

Marik blinked, then smiled and nodded, standing and leaving the stall, closing and locking the door behind him, and then slipping out of the stable.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

lil mIss drAMa QUEEN: lol yeah... Marik and Malik are pretty bad, but they'll get better. Um... well... Marik will, at least... Malik is kind of a prick through the whole fic but he has his good moments... Glad you like the fic though. and everyone will meet up within the next chapter or two. Keep reviewing!!!

Elle-FaTe2x1: I know what you mean with the whole 'coo' thing... Mally writes Ryou's character, and Yami, so you'll see that alot with them... I'm afraid you're just gonna have to deal with it. Mally says I should just replace each 'coo' with 'belch'. Yeah... like that's much better. She suggested it just to laugh at my reaction... sorry, but we're all gonne have to deal with Ryou (and Yami) cooing all the time. Glad you like the fic though!!!
