Words in the Night

Title: I love you but…(how could you do this to me?)

Summary: Okay, because I’m lazy I’m going to make this a short short summary. Leon gets raped by Siegfried…OoOoOoO fear the shortness…fear it!

Disclaimer: I Do not own yuu-gi-oh or ANY of the characters…if I did the show would not be suitable for children’s eyes…and ohhh the bad TV reports I would have…not to mention the millions of dollars I would have. I wouldn’t have to go to this crappy collage…*thinks* oh heaven. (Yes I plan to keep my disclaimer the same for all of my FFs)

Author’s Note: Yeah, I’m slow with uploading this fic I know, but I didn’t have a really long idea for it since it was originally only a oneshot, but, I was nice and continued, so that should make all of you happy. IMPORTANT BTW!!!!!! This chapter takes place a week after the last chapter and it starts off in Leon’s p.o.v…I felt it would take too much time to incorporate that into the fic somewhere…Yeah I’m lazy…

Siegfried hasn’t been around me a lot lately. Even at night he hasn’t paid me one visit. I think he’s giving mother some time to calm down. She hasn’t said anything to father about what really happened and I am thankful for that. Father would assuredly have mixed feelings about the whole thing, but I know that in the end he’s side with Siegfried. That’s just how he was.

I’m happy that Siegfried hasn’t come near my room, although it keeps me up at night wondering if tonight was going to be the night that he came in. In a way I guess that I feel kind of forgotten. Like a broken toy. He hasn’t even given me a hug or anything, but maybe that is for the best. But I can’t help but to say that it’s a little bit lonely.

Naturally mother’s let her guard down a little bit, and father is still in the dark about it all. He doesn’t like that, but when everyone is against him, he sort of lets it go. Every now and then he’ll say: “Are you going to tell me now?” or something on the same line. He’s always answered with a solid ‘no’ and he says nothing else. But despite the fact that her guard is down, she is still as jumpy as I am. She watches Siegfried almost all of the time to ‘just make sure’ as she says. It’s starting to bother Siegfried, I can tell. Mom I don’t think notices it all that much. She never found out about the most recent incident with Siegfried. I am thankful for that.

Leon sat on the floor examining his deck. He’d gotten a few new packs of cards and was trying to see if any of them could be incorporated into his deck without upsetting the balance. Only three cards would benefit his deck. Two traps and a new monster. The other cards lay scattered on the floor in front of him. He was deep in thought, not paying attention to another thing in the world except for his cards. It was that fact that made him jump as a quite knock disrupted the silence.

“Come in!” Leon turned to the door to see Siegfried standing in his doorway. A wave of dark memories swam in his mind, but he forced on a smile despite them. “Hey, Siggy. What’s up?”

Siegfried entered the room and closed the door behind him. Leon swallowed hard, but tried to imply the rule of “Benefit of the Doubt.” Siegfried spared his younger brother a weak smile despite the fact that the meeting that had just ended went very poorly.

“Nothing much, really. Just wanted a place to hide from my secretary.” Indeed his secretary, who was also one of the maids, had been following him all around the house informing him of all the work that needed to be done. “And what better place than in a room that I am strictly told not to go into. And a room that I have need to be in.” Leon smiled slightly. He was afraid that Siegfried had more on his mind than just hiding from his secretary.

There was a long moment of silence between the two while Siegfried debated over what he wanted to do exactly, and Leon thinking of something to say. Leon never liked it when people were silent, it always meant that something was wrong.

“I got some new cards today,” he said quietly. Siegfried snapped free of his thoughts and smiled down at his little brother who was still kneeling on the floor with his ocean of cards behind him.

“Any good ones?” Siegfried asked with false interest.

“Yeah, but just a few.” Leon smiled, and finally gave into his doubts. “So…what is it that you wanted again?” He cast his soft eyes up at his brother with a pleading glance begging that his brother had not come to “prove his love.”

“To tell you that mother and father have left the house for the remainder of the week. Mother was not quite intrigued about leaving us here alone, but she didn’t say much. They left a couple of hours ago.” Leon felt a little bit saddened that they hadn’t even mentioned a word of their departure to him, but he was used to it. They had their own lives and left whenever they wished without a word. It wasn’t that uncommon.

“Oh.” Leon feared for the worst, but forced himself to ask the question that was itching the back of his mind. “So, what are we gonna do while their gone?” He put on a fake smile and watched as Siegfried sat down on the foot of his bed only four feet away.

“I don’t know. I was hoping you could tell me.” Siegfried laughed and Leon shakily copied the suit. “Now why do you sound so afraid?” He cast his eyes at his younger with a cold gleam of what looked like rage. Leon was scared. “Answer me…” He didn’t say it as a demand, more like a regular sentence. He was always like that when it came to Leon. He knew that if he frightened the younger boy the only response he would get were stammers and shaking.

“Um…well. I’m not really afraid,” Leon said with a corny grin.

“You liar…” Siegfried replied with a smirk. He knew what Leon was afraid of, but he wanted to hear the boy say it. There was something wonderfully tasty about the power he felt when he forced his little brother to say things that were entirely embarrassing to him. “Tell me. I won’t get...angry.”

“You know exactly what I’m afraid of,” Leon said as he glared as his brother. He wasn’t the strongest boy, but he did not like being toyed with.

“Do I now?”

“Yes….and it’s your own damn fault!” Siegfried was taken aback at Leon’s sudden outburst. He knew that Leon would snap eventually, but not in a fit of rage. Thinking of nothing else to do he decided to play dumb to cover himself.

“Is it now? You could’ve saved yourself several times you know. It’s not entirely my fault.” He crossed his arms looked at the wall in front of him. He could not look Leon in the eye.

“I’m not stupid Sieg-sama. I knew that you would just come after me again…and then you’d be angry and it would be worse.” Leon looked down at the floor and another long period of silence swept over the two. “Siegfried…you said that I didn’t love you enough…where did you get that idea?” He looked up at his brother with small tears on the corners of his eyes.

Siegfried did not reply.

“I thought for sure that I loved you more than enough…I love you, Siegfried, but how…how could you do this to me?”

Siegfried turned his head away from the wall and began facing the door that he had entered. Within ten seconds he found the silence unbearable and left the room without a word.

“So that’s it?! I have to answer your questions but you won’t answer mine?!” A tear fell from his eye and streamed down his cheek before splashing onto his shirt and discoloring it. Siegfried did not turn to see.

“Be quiet, Leon.” And with that he was gone. Leon did not see him for the rest of the day, Even at dinner time Siegfried refused to leave his office. Leon felt rather lonely, but he didn’t take much of the emotion in. He was used to being alone, how much worse were a few hours of it?

/Where is he? I know he’s going to come…so why isn’t he here yet?/ Leon sat awake in his bed. He was waiting for Siegfried to come for him. There was not a soul in the house that could stop whatever Siegfried could have in mind, and Leon knew that he was not going to pass up a free chance to get revenge on someone who hurt him.

It was obvious to Leon that he struck a blow deep within Siegfried in a place where even Seto Kaiba himself hadn’t managed to get at. It hurt him a little bit as well. Not only because he knew that Siegfried was going to come for him sooner or later, but because it was his fault that he was sad and as brothers it was virtually their job to keep each other happy.

/Does that mean that I’ve failed as his brother?/ Leon shook the thought from his mind and curled up under his blankets. /No way. He brought it on himself! He had no right to…to…/ He wouldn’t let himself think about it. He closed his eyes and eventually drifted off into sleep.

It was within the first half hour of his sleep that Siegfried entered his room. He had no intention of being gentle with the boy after what he had done, but something changed his mind rather quickly.

As Siegfried stepped closer and closer to the bed where his not so innocent kid brother slept he began to make out words that the child was unconsciously mumbling in his sleep. It was some of those words that caused him to have a change of heart…at least for that night.

“Sieg-sama…sorry…I didn’t mean it…really…” There were a few words lost in his dreamy slur, but Siegfried patched it together to make sense. “Forgive me…brother…” There was silence again for a little while and Siegfried stood still in fear that his brother had awoken. He didn’t know why the words affected him like they did. Perhaps it was because the boy was apologizing from the soul in regret rather than just from the mind to keep him out of trouble. It was always more serious when one apologized for an offense in their sleep because that is the only time that their real self is allowed to shine through.

Once Siegfried was sure that his younger brother was still asleep he crept over to the bed and brushed the dark bangs out of the boys eyes. There was always something so peaceful about Leon when he slept. Perhaps it was the fact that he looked amazingly younger. Almost like a ten year old again. Siegfried smiled at the thought before placing a light kiss on his brother’s lips and turning to leave the room.

The door was closed firmly behind him when Leon’s unconscious mind completed his sentence.

“But it’s…your fault too…”
